"Отличный большой номер, единственное дверные проёмы невысокие, поэтому люди выше 175см могут удариться лбом. Кровать большая, удобная. Территории очень ухоженная, красивая. Ужин сервируется кайсеки, много смен разных блюд, меню сезонное. Завтрак одно основное блюдо, в нашем случае рыба, много маринованных овощей, мисо суп, рис. Персонал очень вежливый и заботливый."

"It is one of the best hotel ever visited, the location is great, near to Gora station, direct bus to Gotemba premium outlet, the room is nice and clean with personal onsen, there are 3 private onsen can be used freely if available. There are even hand grind coffee equipment in the room for you to make coffee. Snack, drink, beer and all beverages are free. Their breakfast and dinner are outstanding, the dinner is 8 course cuisine, take almost 2 hours to complete. Highly recommended. Of course all the services come with a price of almost 40000 yen per person per day, but is really worth it. Will stay in the hotel again if revisit Hakone."

"Location is good and within 10 minutes drive from the Gotemba Premium Outlet. Hotel rooms are slightly dusty, but good for short stays especially after outlet visits :) Public hot springs are spacious and better than expected, with both indoors and outdoors available. Some rooms can see the Mount Fuji. Otherwise, 12/F is available for public access with a panorama view of Mount Fuji. Breakfast is also satisfying."

"A really lovely hotel, not though in a particularly nice location.  The hotel staff are superb, from your very first welcome to the wave on departure.   There are complimentary drinks available in reception up until 5.30pm and free shuttles to & from Gora.  The free shuttle bus to and from Odawara is also a bonus.  The rooms are pleasantly decorated with comfortable bed and pillows.  The onsen on the balcony was a nice addition.   Whenever we called reception to ask for something they responded instantly. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice with good quality food.   We ate in both evenings as there’s not much around.   Karen in the restaurant was a delightful member of staff, welcoming us back, remembering our drinks choices from the night before and chatting with us about our  next destination.   It’s a pricey hotel but of good quality and handy for going on the Hakone loop."

"Stayed 1 night at this fantastic hotel with a nice in room onsen. The dinner was great and there is a nice bar downstairs (although we weren't able to go to as advance booking is recommended). The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend taking the train directly to the station near the hotel as it is a very scenic. Would love to stay here again."

"I had a wonderful stay at Rakuten Stay Fujimi Terrace! The day before check-in, I received an email with the entrance code, which made the whole process very smooth. The room was exactly as described on the website—with large windows offering an incredible view of Mt. Fuji, the torii gate, and the lake. The scenery alone made it more than worth it. We had eight people staying in two 4-person rooms located on the third floor. One of the rooms was slightly larger and had extra bedding stored in the closet—enough to comfortably sleep two additional people. There were two bathrooms and two toilets in total, which was perfect for a group or family. The main bathroom included a sauna, hot spring-style bath, shower area, double sinks, a washing machine, and a water dispenser. The second bathroom had a separate shower area and a single sink. Both toilets were separated spaces from bathrooms with high-tech with bidet functions and small sinks. The large dining table and spacious sofa area easily seated all of us. We spent many relaxing moments on the balcony, soaking our feet in the warm onsen foot bath, chatting, and admiring the stunning view. The kitchen was fully equipped with a dishwasher, detergent, a large fridge stocked with complimentary drinks, a capsule coffee machine, and a Japanese rice cooker that made delicious rice. The beds were on the firmer side but still soft and very comfortable. It was just a 3-minute walk along the lake to the 7-Eleven, accessible by elevator from the building. The nearby pier was where we boarded the pirate ship cruise, and about 13 minutes further along the lake was the Peace Torii—a fantastic photo spot. Don’t forget to grasp some delicious bread at “bakery and table” before boarding to the ship. After check-out, we stored our luggage in the lockers at Motohakone Port, took the pirate ship to Togendai, transferred to the ropeway to Sounzan, and visited Gora and Kowakudani before taking the mountain bus back to Motohakone to pick up our luggages. There are 4 lockers for suitcase up to 32 inches ¥700, 12 lockers for 24 inches ¥600, and 10 lockers for smaller size of bags ¥400. From there, we had a pre-arranged shuttle take us back to Tokyo. The whole route was smooth and well-organized—perfect for a larger group traveling without a car. Overall, I highly recommend Rakuten Stay!"

"Very modern Japanese hotel. It is quite new as it is refurbished 2 years ago. Very clean and the onsen in the hotel is very modern. They offer another onsen which is opposite the hotel, which is much bigger but older. Room is small but adequate enough with everything supplied. Free parking and outside is the bus stop for those taking public bus. Overall hotel is great but abit pricy."

"I hope they improve the direction information because we were stranded there with out transportation to the train station on Saturday morning. Thank God for Mr. Hiroyuki who volunteered to drive us to the station to go on our way. The place is beautiful but needs more activities and entertainment."

"Destination resort. Amazing views from the top of the hill. Beautiful and well tended garden and greenery on the property. The maitre’d of the restaurant runs it like a well oiled machine. Conprehensive wine list including highly rated Japanese reds. Service staff are attentive and bi/tri lingual. Michelin star level service. Chef is impeccable too."

"We stayed at Byakudan and loved it. The staff were very kind and high quality of service. From the moment we walked in, we were attended to in great detail and provided excellent service and amenities. We stayed in the Jin Suite and it was very spacious, comfortable, clean and relaxing. The furnishings were a nice blend of Japanese and Western. The open air private onsen was large and private. Every dish in the Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were delicious. We will definitely come back to stay at Byakudan in Hakone Gora again!"
