"The hotel room was quite large, but the facilities were old. The room was relatively clean, though. For breakfast, since we got up late, there was nothing to eat except boiled eggs and steamed buns. What was particularly strange was the bizarre and unpleasant service at the front desk. They were completely indifferent and arrogant. Having traveled extensively both domestically and internationally, I've never encountered anything like this before, even though Inner Mongolia's service industry doesn't have a great reputation nationwide. The front desk was staffed by a particularly burly woman in her late thirties who wouldn't even look at you during check-in, completely ignored your questions, and wouldn't even answer when you asked what time breakfast was served because you hadn't received a breakfast voucher… She wouldn't even answer when you asked where the elevator was…"

"My partner and I were traveling by bicycle from Mongolia to Beijing and stayed here for a rest day during that journey. I think the hotel does not have many English speaking foreigners but the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. There was a great restaurant across the street! The hotel room we stayed in was very big, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was well thought out with a separate bathroom and shower. I think most people were staying there to work on the railroad - they were very friendly as well with a few speaking some English that helped translate for the registration process. Would highly recommend to anyone coming through."
