"Our first impression was that the hotel staff are very enthusiastic & efficient. One young lady just came out as soon as we alighted from the taxi & quickly to our luggage to the lobby. Talk about quick service! Our room was great with river view - the balcony space with 2 comfy chairs & a round table made it a very nice place to sit to have a drink whilst looking at the beautiful views. The complimentary afternoon tea was a surprise & it was a real treat to sit at the rooftop enjoying the views plus photo spots. Breakfast was good! You can eat outdoor with a view of the river & mountains. Staff are very kind to ask & check if you need anything. Housekeeping staff also very polite & communicate well. The young lady recommended their restaurant (under same company) just opposite the hotel for dinner & it was the right choice! We enjoyed the dinner so much & we went again the next day for lunch. Restaurant service was great & hotel guests gets a discount on the bill. Upon checking out, we were served by Jessica who helped us to bring the luggage to the taxi & warmly bade us goodbye. Overall an enjoyable trip to Yangshuo made even better by the wonderful staff of this hotel!!"

"Outside of the hotel is old but inside is new and clean. Our room, although didn’t have the whole view in the pictures because of a new hotel constructed just in front, from the side, it was still beautiful, especially taking into consideration the affordable price for such a nice room. The service with English speaking and super helpful personnel was perfect. The coffee in the morning was delicious as well as the huge breakfast (although it was the same the two mornings). The sunset views from the pool at the terrace were magic. The hotel also helped us to book Sanjie Liu light show with very good seating (B2 zone) at the price of the cheapest tickets which makes a huge discount, so if you want to watch this show make sure to book from the hotel. However for daily scooter rental, the place next to hotel is more expensive than all the others around, so better to check around first. If you want to rent normal bicycles just walk 500m to Giggling Tree hotel reception, they will arrange it."

"Our family really enjoyed our trip and our stay in this hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good location (the hotel is just on the opposite side of West Street, only a 1-minute walk along the pedestrian bridge, so it’s really convenient). The hotel in general and the room in particular are so clean and look so new, so the price is really reasonable. If you want to watch the Impression Sanjie Liu show, you can ask the person at the desk in the lobby’s corner, you might have a discounted price (which is very good). The show is only 5 mins by car from the hotel. If we ever come to Yangshuo again, we will still choose this hotel :)"

"We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, the facilities are amazing: from the clean and refreshing pool to the comfortable rooms, everything exceeded our expectations. What makes this place even more special is the unbeatable location. The view of the mountains and river is simply breathtaking, you can sit for hours just admiring the scenery. Another highlight was the boat service that takes you directly to West Street, the busiest and most vibrant street in town. It’s such a unique and convenient experience! "We stayed in Yangshuo, China, at the Waterside Boutique Hotel by the river. The staff were very friendly and highly customer-oriented. We booked a room with a panoramic view, and the scenery from our window was absolutely fantastic, overlooking the mountains and the river. We could even watch the rafting from our room. The river itself was just two minutes from the hotel, which made it easy to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings. It was a wonderful place, with fresh air and very kind, pleasant people all around. At the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, especially a young woman named Minnie, who speaks excellent English. We saw her every day, and she was always available to help us with translation and any assistance we needed. Whenever we wanted to visit local attractions, she immediately offered to arrange transportation, purchase tickets, and even helped us book and buy tickets to Ruyi Peak at a lower price than we would have paid ourselves at the ticket office. Thanks to her help, we even saved 60 yuan. We are truly delighted that we chose to stay at this hotel and visit Yangshuo. We would like to sincerely thank Minnie for her hospitality, as well as the entire staff for their excellent service. We have such wonderful memories from our stay. We truly hope to return to this hotel and to Yangshuo again with our friends and family. Everything was simply perfect."
