7.5/10 Location: Outside of “central” Athens but easily connected by metro & buses. Kifisia is gorgeous, safe, filled with high end boutiques, restaurants + cafes. Room/Ambience: Hotel itself is stunning + very relaxing vibe. Decor details incredible as expected of a boutique hotel of this nature.  Food: Very good selection of hot + cold, plus actual barista coffee. Do not expect American style breakfast - this is Europe after all. We did not eat lunch or dinner but the menus looked great and was filled with locals in the evening. Service: Although reception staff were sufficiently friendly, service very lacking for a high end boutique hotel. It was 26 degrees celsius every day while in Athens. Not prior to our stay, nor during check-in did anyone advise us that the pool was closed likely until end of May. This is not advertised on any booking platform, or on the hotel website, which was very disappointing. We sat in the pool lounge chairs for over two hours (staff saw us as the restaurant is immediately adjacent). Nobody offered us pool towels to lie on, or if we wanted to order any drinks or food. My partner had to get dressed, go to reception and ask. They didn’t even offer to clean the pool given the hot weather made it ready for use. It really put a downer on our stay, and why we opted not to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. Similar experience at breakfast; nobody offered us coffee orders, we heard someone else order and realised it was available.

Procurei bastante até encontrar o hostel perfeito e sem dúvida que acertei. Este hostel tem tudo o que poderia ter e não ter pedido. Desde atendimento acolhedor, ótimo pequeno-almoço, piscina em rooftop com vista magnífica, a cama individual muito confortável e espaçosa. Os funcionários perguntaram-me no que poderiam melhorar para ajudar a minha estadia a ser melhor e não encontrei resposta. Para mim, esta estadia foi fabulosa. Tive a oportunidade de fazer amizades e de ter a minha primeira solo trip no melhor local possível. Não percam tempo a ver outros lugares, este é o ideal!!

This place is quite unusual. My room was upgraded so that I had a suite over two floors, with a small private pool on another lower level. Absolutely every convenience had been considered, some extras might verge on overkill (bog roll tied up with a ribbon for example). The room looked amazing on first inspection, but I quite quickly realised the smell of the pool was so strong it stung my eyes, and the sound of the ventilation unit was quite a roar. There was only one small openable window on the mezzanine level next to the bed and I had to sleep with that open as wide as possible. Bed was extremely comfortable, I had to turn off the pool ventilator unit in the middle of the night because it kept waking me up, but once I had done that and the smell of baking bread entered the room from a bakery down the road I slept like a log. Staff were really nice and friendly, but they are working with quite difficult circumstances and perhaps unnecessarily. The kitchen is on the bottom floor and breakfast is served on the 5th floor roof (from which you can see the Parthenon) breakfast is a little awkward as you get a huge wicker basket 🧺 full of food plus crepes, plus omelette, plus tuna sandwich, a whole baguette (some more little ribbons), and I am not sure anyone can eat as much as is provided, and the server had to keep travelling up and down in the one person elevator. Probably would be better to ask guests what they would like to have for breakfast out of the options available and have a coffee/tea station upstairs. There is the option to take lunch in your room - for which the picnic basket concept makes a lot more sense. Seems like there should be a way to make the place feel more efficient and common sensible. I did get the feeling that they might have only just opened and are finding their feet, so I hope this review will be useful - certainly was a generous accommodation and staff are working very hard to make sure guests have the best possible experience.

Review for NYX Esperia Palace Athens – Luxurious Stay with a Few Caveats We stayed at NYX Esperia Palace Athens for four full days – two couples, each in an Executive Suite with access to the business lounge. The welcome was warm and efficient, and we received our rooms exactly at 3:00 PM, as per hotel policy. The suites were clean, stylish, and well-equipped with amenities such as disposable toothbrushes, shaving kits, loofahs, a hairdryer, and more. One of our suites, located on the 7th floor, even had a partial view of the Acropolis, which was a lovely bonus. The room’s climate, lighting, and curtains were all operated through digital controls, designed to pamper guests — although, in practice, they were not very intuitive and required a bit of trial and error. For instance, turning off the bedside light required getting up and walking to a control panel. The TV included Israeli channels (11, 12, and 13), which we appreciated. Breakfast on the 10th floor was excellent, offering a wide variety of high-quality options, and the waiter service was above average. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional care provided by Ilia, the hotel's Public Relations Manager. She guided us almost from the moment we arrived until we left — recommending excellent tavernas, booking taxis, restaurants, and arranging a private guided tour. On our last day, we were also warmly greeted by Dionysia in the lounge — charming and attentive. That said, there were some drawbacks: Reception service was inconsistent – not all staff members were welcoming; some appeared cold or offered forced smiles. The business lounge was disappointing – small, crowded, with modest food and drink offerings and uninspiring seating. It felt more like a repurposed room than a proper lounge. The pools require advance reservation, with no room for spontaneity. Usage hours are segmented (e.g., 1–4 PM or 4–7 PM), and spots after 7 PM are very limited. The rooftop pool area is crowded, and the adjacent restaurant is also open to non-guests. Rooftop restaurant experience: One evening we returned from a night out and hoped to enjoy a drink with a view. Although two front-row tables overlooking the Acropolis were available, we were initially told they were reserved. Minutes later, we were informed we could sit there for a €25 minimum spend per person. The sudden shift from ”reserved” to ”available for a price” was off-putting — especially as hotel guests staying in suites. The guided tour recommended by the hotel involved nearly 4 hours of driving during a 5-hour trip, leaving us with very little time at each stop. We suggest skipping it. Bottom line: The hotel is modern, very clean, and the suites are luxurious. Service is mostly excellent, particularly thanks to Ilia and Dionysia. However, don't count on spontaneous access to the pool or rooftop restaurant — enjoying those requires planning ahead, much like booking a theater show. If you value well-designed suites and structured experiences, this hotel may be a great fit. If you’re looking for flexibility and full-day pampering from hotel facilities — you might find it a bit limiting.

Nice and awesome places, and good hospitality and services were all awesome, no complaints. We loved the place and the seaside except the traffic sound but the hotel and the restaurant is excellent and was a wonderful place to spend.

Otel şehir merkezinde olup ulaşım oldukça rahattır. Otelden metro istasyonuna yürüyerek 10 dakikadan fazla sürede ulaşmak yaklaşık 500 metre sürmektedir. Otel lobisinin dekorasyonu oldukça lüks, oda büyüklüğü orta, banyo düzeni iyi değil, suyun büyük kısmı banyodan sonra çıkıyor, kahvaltısı oldukça tatmin edici.

Kısa bir şehir tatili için burada kaldık ve otelin sade ama temiz olduğunu gördük; fiyatına göre gerçekten şikayet edemezdik. En önemli özelliği, sabahın erken saatlerinde gezip gördükten sonra öğleden sonra dinlenmek için mükemmel olan havuz alanı ve çatı barıydı. Çevredeki alan çok güzel olmasa da, Akropolis yakınlarındaki daha turistik bölgelere ulaşana kadar Atina'nın geneline oldukça sıradan görünüyordu. Yine de, etrafta dolaşırken kendimi her zaman güvende hissettim. Ana turistik yerler yaklaşık 30 dakikalık yürüme mesafesindeydi veya sadece 5 sterlinlik bir Uber yolculuğuyla ulaşılabiliyordu. Yakınlarda bir metro istasyonu vardı, ancak biz kullanmadık. Genel olarak, harika çatı manzaraları ve rahat atmosferiyle bütçe dostu, sağlam bir seçenek.

The room was fine — very clean and spacious. However, the sink got blocked after just one day of use, and during showers the water would splash outside the shower area, so I had to use towels to dry the floor. Also, in the morning canteen, one of the male staff members was not very polite. He seemed a bit rude and did not treat us the same way as he treated other tables.

Bu otel çok güzel. Omonia Meydanı'nda yer almaktadır. Bize Prosecco sunan güler yüzlü personel tarafından karşılandık. Ayrıca odamızda su ve küçük bir şişe Prosecco vardı. Odalar küçük ama bir şehir otelinde bu beklenen bir şey. Harika bir çatı havuzu. Saat 12'ye kadar servis edilen harika kahvaltı ve kahve almak için fincanlar içebilirsiniz. Balkonlu oda rezervasyonu yaptırırsanız, klasik balkonlu odalar terk edilmiş binanın manzarasına sahip olduğundan kentsel balkonlu oda rezervasyonu yaptığınızdan emin olun. Bu otelin tek dezavantajı asansörlerdir. 2 asansör var ve her zaman dolu ve yavaşlar. Biz 6. kattaydık ve çoğu zaman merdivenleri yürüyerek çıkıyorduk. Metro istasyonu otelin girişinin karşısındadır ve indi-bindi otobüsler otelin karşısında durmaktadır. Dolaşmak için güzel bir meydan ama sokaklarda çok sayıda evsiz olduğu için meydandan çıkmayacağım.

Very accomodating service with great amenities. Great rooftop bar and pool with a view of the acropolis. It is slightly out of the main tourist area of Plaka- about 15 min walk to the acropolis.
