"The exterior and common ground are clean and well maintained. The 2 rooms we stayed on reminded me of my student dorm during university days. Guess different portion of the house has different standard room. Rooms are definitely outdated, and the carpet needs cleaning, It does smell damp. Overall, it is reasonably good."

"Came here a couple of times whilst in Swindon as it looked ok inside and had plenty of customers. Great service from all the bar staff we encountered. Food is ok, but nothing special. I had katsu hash browns as there wasn’t much in the way of gluten free options. The hash browns were quite soggy, and there wasn’t much sauce, so I assume they were microwaved. There wasn’t much a football match on one evening and the place was packed with people watching on the big screens. The bar staff amazingly kept up with orders throughout the night."

"The picture of the place looks great. The reality is somewhat different. The accommodation is in a wooden cladded annex in the car park. The room was basic. The toilet ran all night so it won’t flush properly. We ordered an Aperol spritz and were told they didn’t have any. After we pointed it out on the shelf we were told that the brewery didn’t allow them to make it as it wasn’t on their recipes. The faggots were okay. The chicken burger was dreadful it was grisly meat with a soggy coating. The fries had been cooked in fat which was either too cold and/or dirty. Not Butcombe’s finest establishment"

"No lights in the corridors, very unsafe and bins outside not emptied, also staff making accusations of theft after staying in this property for a long prolonged period of time, very unhelpful when items needed to be stored for guest!!!!! DO NOT BOOK!"
