"The place was perfect in terms of location and vibe although the floor level that we were in was a little bit noisy, you can here people talking even with doors closed hence the 4 star ratings. Nonetheless I dont have any hesitation recommending this hotel to anyone."
The Capsule Hotel
"What I love about the Capsule Hotel is that the location and also very near the mall. Although, it is important to let guests know that theres no elevator going to the 3rd Level or the 4th floor. So if you have a heavy luggage it is important to take note of this. I love how comfy the beds are and also how clean the beddings and towels are big enough for large people to fit in. There are shampoo, conditioners and body wash available. I had a good/better sleep here. There freezers that I too advantage of. Something to consider, I hope the hostel will provide stickers/papers to write on for the food labels. The pens are working but the markers are dried up. There a bit of a mess in terms of the kitchen and the utensils are a bit disorganized. You cant cook but theres microwave, kettle and toaster."

In addition, their staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I will, without a doubt, book this hotel whenever I return to Sydney."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour. The service was warm, attentive, and always delivered with a smile, even the housekeeping team - which made our holiday even more enjoyable. Waking up to the city views and proximity to a close harbour run every morning and seeing the city lights at night was such a treat. The bed was so comfortable that we looked forward to returning after a full day of exploring Sydney. The location couldn’t have been better. We could easily walk to restaurants, shopping, attractions, and public transport, yet the hotel still felt like a peaceful retreat after a busy day. The absolute highlight was the Saturday night fireworks over Darling Harbour. Watching the fireworks light up the harbour from the hotel was simply magical and became one of our favourite memories of the trip. If you’re staying over a Saturday, don’t miss it! We also made good use of the infinity pool and gym, both of which were excellent and well maintained. It was the perfect way to relax and recharge. Highly recommended!"

Big Hostel
"I stayed 3 hostels (all dorm room) during 1 week in Sydney and I liked Big hostel the most in term of the spacious room and strategic location . I recognized that sharing with more people is actually better option because more people, the room is bigger, meaning we would have better common area. I booked the bed in 4-bed room before in other hostel and the room was too tiny, almost no common space for social conversations; when opening the door, u face straight to the bed, and all u want to do is staying in the bed instead of talking with others."

"Lovely time had here, there was a serene view of the park. We stayed only a few days but it was so conveniently located near cafes and shops, we had a car but if you don’t then you will do fine with the train links. The staff were so kind I was able to leave a gift for my friend at the front desk on check out and they allowed them to pick up the next week."

"They gave me a room on the 23rd floor, which was still a bit lower than I'd hoped. The front desk on the 1st floor was crowded and noisy. Other than that, everything else was quite satisfactory. The service was pretty standard, nothing particularly memorable."

"The room was clean and comfortable although a little annoying that I paid nearly $600 for one night specifically for a “harbour view” room only to be able to see 99% just roof (photo attached). Service was average, on check in we waited at the front desk for 10 mins only for a worker to tell us thather shift is over so we would have to join a different line and then for that next person to send us to yet another different line. Other than that, the buffet breakfast was amazing and location was good with an easy walk down to darling harbour."

"Great stay. 3 mins walk to the train station. Nearby to grocers like Coles and Woolworths. While the stove might be near the bed, the smell is easily dispersed by the cooking hood. Remember to bring your own tooth brush and tooth paste. Also, bring extra footwear if going to the swimming pool or gym as it is at a different level. Highlight for this meriton branch is gym 24/7. Recommended for people who like to cook."

"First time staying at Meriton and it was a great experience! Having a kitchen allowed us to cook breakfast. The place was generally clean and conveniently located near both the Metro and train stations, plus Coles is really close by. Very good!"

"Great accommodation. Very helpful and friendly staff. Parking can be an issue but otherwise very convenient. Hotel was going through some upgrades at the time and was moved often but always with free upgrades. Will stay there again for sure."
