"One of the most memorable times of our live and we were happy with everything! The view from the room is breathtaking, we stayed in the spacious 6 beds room and it was on the second floor. From there you can see the moutains, valleys, a waterfall and a river. Every morning there would be swallows flying around the house, and butterflies too, all different colours! It was extremely peaceful, exactly what my family needed to experience. The location is very close to the river on one side, and on the other side with a short walk up a slope there are plenty of cafes, shops and resturants! The host family would also cook delicious meals for us if when we stayed in for an additional 3-4 dollars, which was so convienent and totally worth it. Our host family were always very helpful to us, and they really cared about doing good in their community. They also took us when they had free time around Sapa and their local village. When we ran out of nappies they took us to a shop that stocked them and when our daughter wanted to see water buffalos they took us to look for them too! We had a wonderful time with them, and all their pets. Our children played with them everyday and was so sad when they had to leave. Hopefully we will get a chance to return in the future! "I was worried about the facilities since it is located deep within the village, but once I arrived, I found it much cozier and better than hotels in the city center. Thanks to the thoughtfully prepared heating, I slept soundly in a dry and comfortable environment without any humidity, and the view from the room is unrealistically beautiful. The food also had unique flavors that can only be found here, making every meal a delight. In particular, the owner provided real-time information on transportation and the surrounding area, so I experienced absolutely no inconvenience despite being a traveler without a car."

"Room was clean. Location is nice to go for hikes directly, though be mindful that most group hikes start in Sapa centre. A taxi ride from the hotel to Sapa takes 25-30m. Overall it’s a nice and quiet hotel. I ended up needing to book one of the more expensive rooms (the only one availability during Tet). To that point, I don’t think the hotel was worth price I paid, however I can imagine their basic rooms are better value and not a bad choice. I would not book again."

"I finally have some free time to write a review of this wonderful guesthouse! The hosts are incredibly nice, you feel right at home, even though your home is 8,000 km away. This feeling is better than anything. You can tell the family loves what they do and does it with passion. It's been a month since I stayed, so I might not write as emotionally, but my fond memories of staying at this house still linger with me. 1. The view!!! Absolutely beautiful!! You can admire the rice terraces, the sunsets and sunrises, and most importantly, the stars! For the first time in my long trip, I saw so many stars in the Vietnamese sky. I adore the stars. 2. The room is quite empty, but you can tell everything is new, so I need a little more time. The bed is very comfortable. Everything is clean. The bathroom is large and very comfortable. There is hot water. All the amenities are there. It's like visiting close relatives. You don't feel like you're in some hostel with a shared bathroom. It really felt like I was visiting, and it's normal for someone else to use the shower. 3. Breakfast! I don't know why, but when they brought pancakes with banana and chocolate for breakfast, I was really touched. It shows that they think about and care about foreigners. It's quite difficult for me to eat noodles for breakfast because it's not customary here. And it's hard on my stomach. So these pancakes were the best breakfast I've had in a long time in Vietnam! 4. The owners are very nice. I told them I'd leave my bags until 2:00 PM since checkout was at 12:00 PM, and they said there was no other guest after me, so I could continue using the room without any problem, even staying another night! I stayed in the room until 3:00 PM. Before this, I was in a hotel where they charged me to let me into my room an hour early, even though the room was obviously empty and had been cleaned long ago. So it's not about Vietnamese culture, but about these wonderful people. Giving what you can is the best quality a person can have. There are many beautiful places nearby. There are shops. I recommend arriving by motorbike to fully enjoy the surroundings."

"Our 4 nights here were amazing!! Lang made us feel so welcome as we shared evening meals with the host family. (You can also have evening meals served to your cabin) Views and scenery changed all the time with clouds and weather and cabins are cute and comfy. Lang helped us have a great time by arranging taxi to town, (about 30min drive) and helping us navigate local culture and expectations. (She speaks fabulous English) I can’t recommend this place and hosts highly enough and for us was a highlight of our Vietnam holiday."

"The place is located a bit further away from town, the place itself is very old, dusty and has a weird smell. We arrived early and wanted to leave our luggage at the hotel until check-in and were told that there is no security and that they can’t guarantee that are luggage would be safe at the hotel. We ultimately decides to book another hotel instead."
