Travelodge York Tadcaster ★★★

"Firstly, the view from the road needs to be improved as I initially drove past the hotel. I then had to exit the A64, drive in the opposite direction to turn around and come back. Cutting back some of the greenery which has grown over the hotel signage would really help. Ashley was really brilliant and made my stay. She gave me a warm greeting as I arrived and was super friendly. She ran through everything I needed to know. Another guest tried to access my room around 11pm but they soon found their key did not fit the door and found their own room. Ashley was around the next morning and provided my breakfast box. This came with cereals, milk, a bottle of water, a chocolate brioche and also a flapjack. This was great as I needed to get on the road. There was a Greggs situated on the car park and this would have been great if you wanted a hot breakfast."
