"Positives: The mint tea was very tasty and authentically poured in the Moroccan style. Evening entertainment was very fun for the first day or two, though got very stale very quickly as it was the same two acts every night singing the same songs and doing the same dances. The pool area was lovely, offering a great choice of sunbeds and cabanas. The staff in the restaurant Massa were generally lovely and friendly, engaging positively with children and participating in the entertainment, creating a relaxed vibe. The room was spacious and featured some nice decor. Negatives The shower had inconsistent temperature for the whole of our stay, constantly running hot then cold every 15 seconds. There was an instance where the water stopped working entirely. The hotel was stingy with essential amenities like water and toilet paper. This was particularly problematic as there were no nearby shops, forcing guests to pay for water if we wanted more than the one bottle provided, one situation being that we asked for an extra water to our room and they said of course and that our room hadn't been cleaned, they then called back saying if we want our room cleaned we need to leave the sign outside saying so to which I replied yes we did that but they didn't come still (though the tone they said this was a little bit patronising), they also said that oh by the way you also need to pay for your extra water, which when it came was smaller than the ones they usually provided for free. In another, existing toilet paper was removed during room cleaning and not replaced for some reason, requiring a call to reception. The included buffet food (breakfast and dinner) was below mediocre, verging on poor and every night we were left unsatisfied. There was a significant difference in quality between the included food and the food available for purchase, leaving you unsatisfied and compelling you to buy lunch (which was fairly decent). The zoo area was incredibly smelly, and the noise from the birdcages was very loud. Upon arrival, the first impression of the hotel was underwhelming due to ongoing building work, which made the premises look unfinished and messy and really didn't look anything like the pictures online, the tables surrounded by orange trees were nowhere to be found... Despite the nice room decor, there was a persistent issue with numerous flies entering the room, likely due to the proximity of the zoo enclosure and cleaning staff leaving the door open whilst cleaning. Smoking in public areas was unpleasant for non-smokers. The room cleaning schedule was very unpredictable, with cleaning times varying significantly from as early as 11 am to as late as 4 pm, making it difficult to plan. The handling of some dead birds around the pool area was unprofessional and disturbing, with one instance of a staff member kicking a dead bird into a tree area after we had notified another member of staff about a dead bird floating in the pool which was fished thrown in the bin."

"this was one of 11 riads we stayed at during our recent adventures touring Morocco - it was a lovely place to stop - though we only stayed one night, we met some amazing people and really enjoyed our stay - my wife also enjoyed the local music, and we just loved the overall atmosphere and friendliness that was felt there, thank you - would certainly recommend this for fellow travellers and adventurers! We hope to come back next year and will certainly be staying here if we do."

"Overall, a wonderful, relaxing riad experience with genuine Moroccan charm. The rooms are traditionally decorated, spotless, full of character and the staff welcoming, warm, and pleasantly informal — making you feel completely at home. The food was excellent and genuinely local — proper Moroccan dishes from breakfast through dinner, not the tourist-friendly version. The hammam/ massage experience was great and lounging by the pool was the perfect place to unwind between excursions. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic taste of Morocco combined with lot’s of comfort."

"I stayed in Dar Zahia for two months (!) - January and February 2024 - and found it the most beautiful and charming home from home. I was lucky to have the room by the roof terrace where I could enjoy the warm winter sun and listen to the birdsong in the tops of the trees growing in the courtyard garden. Although Darzahia is practically in the middle of town a blissful quiet reigns, punctuated only five times a day when the muezzin very near by starts up his call to prayer. My friends and family who came to stay loved it. Heartfelt thanks to Zahia herself who, although prevented from being there, kept in close touch and especially to Sana, the wonderful manager. Sana was is not only an inexhaustible found of knowledge about Taroudant and its surroundings and excellent organiser of expeditions but also a veritable guardian angel who took care of me when I was ill and who helped and translated for us at the police station after my son-in-law was injured by a hit-and-run motorcyclist. Thanks also to Fatima Zahra, an excellent cook, and to Jamila who keeps the place spotless. An unforgettable time."

"Riad Le Jasmin is the epitome of luxury. The ambiance is fantastic and completely relaxing. Push open the heavy wooden door, and you enter a world far removed from the hubbub outside; one where you can rest in the shade of an orange tree, dip into a lantern-lit pool. Starting from the lush gardens that expand as far as the eye can see and provide refreshing shade from the heat of the region, with scents of a thousand flowers all around. The vegetation - flowering trees and bushes. Here, a shady garden full of songbirds and fruit trees is a wild extravagance . Then you arrive at an overwhelming, proportionate architecture, resembling the enchanted city from any desert fairy tale. Service is discreet yet attentive, and the atmosphere is serene, especially beside the olive tree-lined pool. Scented with orange blossom, the suites are huge and luxurious, with Berber rugs, bespoke furnishings, handpicked art, and marble-and-tidelike bathrooms with rain-showers. Breakfast with its tasty and high quality Moroccan food. Incredible Riad. It is absolutely beautiful and is a true oasis. I stayed in a huge suite overlooking the pool. The Riad is meticulously designed down to the smallest detail. The grounds are remarkably well kept and include stunning details. It was an amazing experience to stay at this spectacular property. Every moment spent here feels like a retreat into paradise, making it perfect for relaxation or celebration. A stay in a riad will likely be one of your most memorable experiences in Morocco!!!"

"This hotel is located in the heart of Taroudant. It is excellent location to have everything close but without the noise of the city's sparkling. It is fantasticly decorated with beber style, beds are comfortable with clean cotton soaps always. I come here when I want to rest and disconnect from everything. The staff is very careful, always friendly and smile. Quality price improvable. I recommend it 100%"
