"On a tour of bhutan, two nights stay at amodhara, friendly staff, nice warm room with modern bathroom, lots of room to open suitcase, use computer etc... Sound proofing of windows could be improved though, thank god Bhutanese drivers do not honk stupidly like Nepali or Indian ones."

"1. Heavy constuction all around 2. Food was terrible 3. Very nice and utterly incompentent staff, pathetic. 4. If you stay under the restaurant (3rd floor) the noise starts early and goes late at night. Could be simply fixed with pad under the chairs (wood on wood) but no common sense. 5. No consideration for the noise from other "guests" as the kitchen should not be open past a certain hour for drinking and curousing."

"This is a beautiful hotel with huge rooms and very good food. we did not eat the buffet for dinner and the butter chicken and local ema Datshi made for a wonderful dinner with rice and bread. Beds were comfortable and it was a great first night in Bhutan. Staff was very pleasant. Lots of tour groups here and some were pretty noisy."
