The location is very good in center of main Thimphu city and walkable to most shopping and restaurants and sights. The outdoor patio dining area is nice on a sunny morning or evenings. The only disadvantage is that it has very average views - some mountains but there is a lot which is used for maintenance and repairs outside. "We went as two couples and stayed at the Pema the same evening as we landed. Unfortunately, there was no table available for us for dinner. We spoke to our agent and we were then given the best table in the place (which was being used until that very time by the great and the good). Not only that, we were looked after by Geeta, their F&B manager, who was super excellent and served us with the most delicious food over the two days we were there. The Pema also offers a lovely gift box with some nice goodies in it. The room is very clean and neat, with too quality furnishings. The staff are very nice and polite. We really enjoyed our stay at the Pema. I also found a copy of a very useful book at the hotel that I have put up photos of."

"It's located about 3 mins walk off the main street. The room was huge with a desk, 2 armchairs, king size bed, wetroom (very common in Bhutan) with a good shower, tea & coffee and a room safe (rare in Bhutan). Breakfast was local dishes with some cereals and eggs to order, quite acceptable. Dinner - you have to pre-order, ideally well in advance, everything is cooked fresh to order and this situation is very common in Bhutan unless the accommodation puts on a Buffet."
