I found this backpacker hotel with high ratings and quickly booked it to give it a try. The double room with twin beds is clean and tidy. Although the public restroom does not have shower facilities, you can take a hot spring bath in the hot spring hotel next to it for 25 RMB, and there is also an outdoor room, which is great value for money!"

"It takes about an hour's drive from Oirase Gorge and Sukayu Onsen. For dinner, we had a refreshing meal of horse meat jingisukan (grilled lamb). The hot spring water was very alkaline, and it made my skin incredibly smooth. I was surprised to find that even the water coming out of the tap contained hot spring components. There were many day-trippers from the morning. There was a coin laundry on the premises, which was very helpful as I was able to do laundry once during my 2-night, 3-day trip."

"Facilities: The room had a very traditional Japanese feel, and the window view was absolutely stunning! Environment: It's located right where the bus drops you off, literally right in front of the hotel. Service: All the staff were older, white-haired individuals, but their service was excellent. On the downside, the food was quite bad 😂. Dinner was really unappetizing, so I skipped breakfast altogether."

"This hot spring inn faces a relatively large road. It was a little like a combination of a super public bath and accommodation. There were many people who seemed to be locals in the hot spring. This time I chose a plan that included a meal (Towada's specialty barayaki). It was delicious. It might be good for those who want to stay at a hot spring cheaply. It is a flowing hot spring. I don't think it is suitable for those who are looking for a slightly luxurious trip. Oirase, Lake Towada, and Towada Art Center are also easy to get to if you have a rental car."

"The location is excellent, right next to the JR bus stop, and the Towada bus stop is also at the same location, making transportation very convenient. It's about a kilometer walk to Oirase.
