"I was planning to book accommodation in Kinosaki Onsen, but since I was traveling alone (and the prices were quite high...), I booked a one-night stay at a hot spring hotel near Toyooka Station instead. Honestly, it was the best hotel I stayed at during my 6-night, 7-day trip (in terms of condition, staff service, facilities, etc.). To be frank, I couldn't believe I got this hotel at this price. It makes me want to come back to Toyooka just to stay here again (though there really isn't anything around Toyooka...). First of all, the room size was unbeatable, and the hot springs were amazing... The amenities were fantastic. Also, the staff service was truly, truly excellent!!! I highly recommend visiting. If you are planning to stop by Kinosaki Onsen!!"

"Excellent service. The staff was very helpful and helped carry our suitcases upstairs. The dinner was very atmospheric. The hotel is a bit tired in places, but that doesn't spoil the experience. I wish there were shower towels in the room. And it would be more convenient to carry the onsen kit in a purse rather than a plastic bag."

We loved our stay there so much we would love to come back here again when we visit Japan again! Also loved the town itsself and all the Onsen. The hotel itsself also gives you public Onsen as well as private ones that you can book in advance. They were amazing too. The food included in our Halfboard was also amazing! Loved everything here! Garden view from our room was so relaxing and great as well!"

However, the train station has a free Shuttle Bus service specially provided for travelers. As long as you provide your check-in voucher, whichever hotel you choose to stay in, you will be picked up in front of the hotel. . The hotel staff has a good service attitude and is friendly. We checked in to the room where we stayed that day, and the staff explained every detail and precautions of the check-in in English. The package we chose provides one stay and two meals. "Thank you for my stay at Hotel Livemax Toyooka. The hotel is a bit of a distance from the station, and since it was snowing heavily on the day I arrived, I had to be careful with my commute. For winter access, I'd recommend checking transportation options in advance. Also, even though I'm a foreigner, I responded in Japanese at the front desk, but was suddenly spoken to in English, which was a bit confusing. I would appreciate it if there was a bit more consideration regarding language choices. Overall, it was a clean and comfortable stay. I'm also grateful for the polite service from the staff. I believe the service could be even better in the future with more consideration for language aspects."

"This stay was utterly incredible. Attentive, kind and helpful staff who were so supportive with language barrier, they even had staff who spoke English explain food and give us print outs which was so gratefully received and truly made a huge difference to our stay. Thank you Keita! The gardens were peaceful, the room was traditional and a completely peaceful retreat. There is a personal bath included each night which was clean and wonderful. The baths at the inn are excellent, I loved the outdoor one in the snow. It's a good location to explore the other baths in Kinosaki which are included in the stay, you can even continue going to the baths after you check out if your transport leaves later. This is very good value for money when you consider everything included, and we are so happy to have visited. Wonderful and full of tradition, and the owners are amazing. Hugely recommended!"
