"It was great to be able to choose from a wide variety of rental yukata. The night view from the Japanese-style room was beautiful. The breakfast was a buffet style with a rich selection, including Tajima beef, and everything was delicious 😋. For the price, getting breakfast, hot spring hopping tickets, and wearing a yukata was really reasonable and a great value. I'd love to stay again."

"It was raining heavily when I checked in🌧️ The hotel🏨 provided umbrellas☔ There is a convenience store at the door🏪 Very convenient [Recommended] Use JRpass to visit Kinosaki Onsen and Amanohashidate, It's suitable. The hotel is very quiet. I stayed for two consecutive nights and walked around the entire Kinosaki Onsen twice. It's not a small place. The hot springs cost 1500 yuan per pass and 800 yuan per hot spring. There are no programs at night and it's really dark. There are some small shops during the day, and the hot springs are good. I recommend Amanohashidate more. It's interesting to bend down and look👀"

"Stayed 1 night. This is a simple guesthouse above the coffee shop Ashiyo Cafe. Minimalist design conversion of an old house. Room had very soft mattress on floor and attached toilet. Note no shower as guest will visit local onsen baths for washing. Yukata, gets and washing kit provided in a bag to go to the various onsens. The ticket costs 1500 JPY for day . Breakfast provided downstairs at coffee shop. Note few places open for the evening meals as most people are eating at their hotel. There is a convenience store about 100m away and can get food to bring back. There is a microwave to heat up. At night when the coffee shop is closed the main door is open for guests to come in. A relatively budget option in a tourist town. It was ok for one night. But steep stairs would be difficult for those with mobility issues "

"It's one of the best guesthouses I have had the pleasure of staying in! The hosts were so very welcoming and helpful, making my trip to Kinosaki feel very special. The guesthouse itself was very beautiful, clean, and well looked after. The room and shared facilities had everything you could need for a relaxing stay in Kinosaki. I stayed in the shared rooms and found I had plenty of space for myself and all my stuff. There is a fully stocked kitchen and living area so you can easily cook some meals if you’re travelling on a budget. During my stay, I received a Yukata, furoshiki, small towel, and most importantly, some excellent advice for my Onsen visits. The location was perfect for visiting all of the Onsen and I certainly tried to do that, but in the end I think I tapped out after 5… For any woman travelling to Kinosaki, I recommend staying at Guesthouse Kinosaki Wakayo if you want a truly wonderful experience!"
