"Hotel to avoid at all costs! I have been to this hotel every other week for 3 months and my experience has been very disastrous each stay. Twice I left clothes with the laundry service who returned them with holes in them! In addition to returning them to me with holes in them, the hotel management pretended that the clothes already had holes in them and did not offer me any compensation, which is completely lacking in honesty. To this date, I have still not been reimbursed. Beyond this crooked practice, the hotel is in a lamentable state, it is not maintained (dirty bathroom, noisy room) and the staff is not at all up to standard (they forget orders, put takes forever to serve us in the restaurant, they don't come when we call room service). A shame for the Accor group and for the Novotel brand, the management must be replaced as quickly as possible."

The masseuse was extremely kind and explained to me everything. I was treated to a tea afterwards which made the whole experience unforgettable. Thanks!"

"Tunis Life Hotel Royal Asbu Absolutely avoid! We came to eat, but found a place that resembled a low-quality bar more than a real restaurant. Everything was disappointing: the welcome was icy, we really felt like we were bothering the staff. The food was mediocre and the service was lacking. Nothing is right about this establishment, whether it's the welcome, the service, or the food itself. It's a huge waste of time and money. Keep walking!"

"There are many restaurants nearby, and a shopping mall across the street with a supermarket. Breakfast was standard. There's an ATM right on the hotel's exterior wall. A really frustrating point was when I wanted to book a car to El Djem Colosseum. The front desk told me not to bother booking and just take a taxi directly. However, when I was ready to go, no taxi would pick up the fare. At that point, the front desk then told me taxis don't go to El Djem and I needed to book a car a day in advance. In the end, I had to go to the bus station to catch a mini-bus. I asked the front desk to help me input the bus station address into a taxi app, but they entered the wrong station. Luckily, the driver told me the correct one, otherwise I would have wasted a lot more time. All the other services were good, but this particular issue – if you don't know, just say you don't know. Giving incorrect information is such a hassle. Also, the city tax was charged twice, which many others have already mentioned repeatedly."
