"This is my 6th time to the Maldives and my 2nd time on Ukulhas Island. If you are contemplating which island or where to stay - definitely choose a local island. It’s only a 90 min speed ferry to the Island. When you arrive they will greet you and buggy you to their AMAZING property - hands down the best property in Ukulhas. The hospitality, the room, the furnishings are all exceptional. The hotel was designed and built by the manager and owner - Saeed. Super stylish - don’t think twice you must stay here!! There are plenty of excursions from snorkeling with manta rays, shark feeding, sunset fishing and visits to other local islands."

"An absolutely dreamlike island. This was our third time here, and once again we were completely thrilled. The island is a dream. Peaceful, with a beautiful (house) reef right off the beach (only 10 meters away), allowing you to explore the enchanting, colorful fish, turtles, and reef sharks while snorkeling. The only downside is the construction of three hotels, which has somewhat diminished the island's original charm. We hope that Ukulhas doesn't succumb to tourism. Fazeel and his staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and still quite affordable. We wholeheartedly recommend Sea La Vie! Thank you again for the wonderful vacation! We hope that Ukulhas will not be ruined by tourism. Fazeel and his staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. "The location is absolutely fantastic! Just a few steps out the door and you're at the snorkeling beach, ready to jump in the water anytime. All the staff here are genuinely warm and friendly. When you're in a foreign country, the biggest worry is often the language barrier, but that's not an issue here. From helping you arrange excursions to fulfilling daily needs, they all greet you with a heartfelt smile – it's not just standard service, it feels more like visiting a friend's home. Dinner at the restaurant in the evenings was really cozy and completely free of any stiffness. The room was clean, and breakfast was good. They cleaned the room and changed towels daily, and the bathroom had no strange odors. They even specifically reserved a room with an absolutely stunning sea view for me, which I was very happy about! If I ever come back to the Maldives, I'll definitely stay here again."

"I’ve stayed at the Ostrov Hotel four times now—three times with my family and this time with my girlfriends—and I’ve been more than impressed every single time since the beginning of 2023. All the staff are true professionals; they radiate warmth, kindness, and helpfulness. Whenever we need anything, they are always there. The breakfast is fantastic, and the hotel is located right on a beautifully maintained beach. We always join the excursions led by Hathim and Amadej, who are both incredibly experienced guides. And the heart of the hotel is Shiarez, who makes sure everything runs smoothly. Every day, our rooms were cleaned and we always had fresh towels. The location is absolutely fantastic, and the rooms are very spacious and well maintained. Each one has a balcony, which is the perfect place to spend peaceful mornings or cozy evenings. I can’t wait to come back, and we’ll definitely keep choosing Ostrov—forever."

The location is perfect, just minutes walking from the beach, you can go to the east or west beach to watch the sunrise or sunset🌞, both are just a couple of minutes walking.
