"We chose this as a transitional option because of its proximity to the train station. Ultimately, you still have to take a taxi or bus to the station. The reception is in a tiny room downstairs on the other side of the building, so you wouldn't immediately recognize it. Then you have to walk around the building and enter the entrance. The wait for the elevator is very long. There are a lot of people moving around in this building. The room is very basic. Nothing special. The only advantage of this hotel is the Wanda Plaza across the street."

Lanbo Hotel (Urumqi Railway Station North Square) ★★★
"The cleanliness was acceptable, which was what I was most satisfied with, but my impression of the hotel gradually declined. When I first entered the room, the environment seemed alright; the smart speaker worked well, the TV was large, and the smart toilet was also good. However, firstly, the room was extremely far from the elevator, requiring several turns and a long walk to reach it. Secondly, there was no electricity card. I only went downstairs to the convenience store to buy water and bread. Not only did I have to walk a long way to the elevator, but the power went out as soon as I stepped out. I had to turn the lights and TV back on and adjust the lighting when I returned to the room. Thirdly, food delivery couldn't be delivered to the room. This wasn't a major issue; I could have called the front desk to have it delivered, but they could have used a robot. Fourthly, the room card automatically demagnetized at 2 AM every night, preventing me from entering the room. This should have been mentioned at check-in. The next afternoon, I returned with my bag and luggage, only to find I couldn't open the door and had to wait for the front desk in the hallway. Fifthly, the smart door had problems; I couldn't lock it when leaving the room. Absolutely unacceptable."

"There are bus stops and BRT stations right in front of the hotel, making transportation very convenient. The room was larger than I expected, and the facilities were quite complete, including a refrigerator and sofa chairs. It was also clean and odorless."

"This hotel was our last stop before leaving Xinjiang. The lobby is located on the top floor, the 38th floor, and the hotel itself is very new. The front desk kindly upgraded us for free to a 'Cloud Sleep' room, which was incredibly comfortable. The 270-degree round window offered stunning views of the surrounding area. Breakfast was plentiful. It's located in what seems to be a newer district of Urumqi. It's about a half-hour drive to the Grand Bazaar, and there aren't many dining options nearby. However, it's relatively convenient for getting to the airport and high-speed rail station."

Martin, even after his shift, proactively asked guests if they wanted to experience the hotel's activities and arranged everything perfectly, ensuring no one missed out or had any regrets. "The hotel lobby has a stylish design, and while the rooms feel a bit dated, they are generally clean. The front desk staff were very welcoming and even helped bring our luggage to the room. However, in one area of the breakfast restaurant, none of the tables had tissues. We had to ask staff for them, and it wasn't until we had almost finished our meal that they finally replenished the tissues on the tables. Their service awareness definitely needs improvement."

"The hotel has a grand and textured style, and the indoor parking is very convenient. The room was spacious and bright, with complimentary local snacks and mineral water, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. There's also a hot pot restaurant in the hotel, and the food there is quite good too. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay, and I would consider this hotel again if I'm in the area."

"I was in Urumqi for a business trip and hosted an exhibition at this hotel. It's in the economic development zone, so the location is excellent, right next to Wanda Plaza with plenty of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. Overall, the hotel is great. The lobby and restaurant have a strong Xinjiang regional flair. The rooms are luxurious and spacious, and being on a higher floor, it's very quiet. The facilities are complete and well-maintained, and the service is incredibly thoughtful and warm! Highly recommended!"

The staff are patient and meticulous, and their service is polite and thoughtful. They even gave us complimentary fruit and yogurt. "My only complaint is about the airport pick-up service! The driver and the hotel front desk clearly didn't coordinate properly. I had called to book it in advance, but when I landed and called the driver, he said he hadn't received any notification and that his car was full. What's that supposed to mean? If it's full, you just don't pick me up? It was a late-night flight, and I was already exhausted and sleepy, then I had to wait an extra 20 minutes at the airport. Why would I book a hotel near the airport if not to get some rest quickly and conveniently?!"
