He also shared a lot of useful information about local attractions, tips to prevent pickpocketing, and even the prices of fruits at the market, which was all very helpful! And the shower pressure! Being able to flush toilet paper was a huge plus! If you ask at the reception, they'll give you free water and change large bills into smaller denominations. "The stay at Surya hotel was one of the top highlights of our visit to the holy city of Varanasi! The rooms were spacious and newly renovated with brand new bathroom fixtures and quality toiletries. The small balcony in front of the room provided charming views of the lush garden and soothing birds chirping in the mornings and evenings. The hotel is located conveniently 15 mins from the bustle of ghats and temples. Also, enough can't be said about the delicious food and wide menu selection at the restaurant and the amazing staff and servers. Finally, the drivers who took us around were legit local guides who not only enriched us with anecdotes and stories about their precious city, but also ensured that we didn't miss any of the city's famous culinary delights (specifically, ask for Rajesh Ji if he's available to drive you around!). We're glad that we chose Hotel Surya for our trip to the holy Kaashi - the abode of Lord Vishwanath!"
