"I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Vilamoura with my family, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing for a five-star hotel. While the location is superb, with direct beach access, and the room cleanliness is impeccable, the service falls severely short in terms of hospitality. With the exception of the front desk team, who were extremely friendly, the rest of the staff seemed to have 'no' as their standard answer. At breakfast, the atmosphere became stressful 15 minutes before 10:30 AM, with staff rushing to clear everything. Immediately after, at the bar, we tried to order something light to go with our coffee, and the inflexibility was absolute – everything was difficult or unavailable. This lack of enthusiasm extends to leisure facilities: in the spa, despite closing at 7 PM, at 6:50 PM, they were already cleaning, creating an environment where you felt rushed out. Furthermore, paying €5 per hour for completely damaged ping-pong paddles is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. It's crucial for the teams to be trained to understand the concept of customer service, as the hotel's structure is great, but the current service completely undervalues the brand."

The football Astro, gym, hot sauna & outdoor pool were the standouts for me. There’s a really nice walk in the sun to the beach as well. The reception team was class, super friendly and helped with any queries. Would thoroughly recommend !"

"Checkin very speedy. You're left to make your way to the apartment on your own. But that's fine. Room was clean and spacious. Air con was difficult to get going but once sorted it kept the room lovely and cool. Plenty of cooking utensils but the cooker could do with renewing. You couldn't read any of the dials. Pool area is lovely and clean and enough sun beds. The bar area is nice and food is served throughout the day and in the evening. The beer and food is very reasonably priced. Location is good, only a 20 min walk to the marina and a couple of minutes away from a bar and nice restaurant. Overall it's a very good 3 star. We've stayed here 3 times and wouldn't hesitate to come back"

"A fantastic lovely little hotel set in lovely little gardens , we stayed in a studio apartment and it was everything we needed , so so clean , was cleaned every day !! With fresh towels every day also,amazing! Staff were so lovely too , especially the pool bar staff , we were always made to feel welcome & the food was really good! Great shuttle bus service down to the marina and back 3 different times per day & if the bus was full they will do another trip. The area is very quiet but so nice , only one spar shop at the bottom of the road but has everything you would need with a lovely wee cafe/bakery attached with outside seating to enjoy your coffee ☕️. It was our first visit to Vilamoura but won’t be our last Thank you all."

"Only stayed here for about 5 hours as we had to leave our accommodation at 10 and flight at 21:00, so we decided to use the day pass At browns so as not to spend hours in cafes and bars before leaving . So glad we did .. we visited the resort days before to take a look and found the staff very helpful . The resort filled our every needs and more . We were able to leave our cases in a secure location , use the pool area and play ground for kids . Also available are indoor pool and sauna and a great bar which serves nice food again with friendly staff .. we were able to shower and prepare for our journey home fresh rather than being tired and the day drag on for hours .. If you have a similar situation where you have to check out of a private villa early and your flight is not till late I would highly recommend this resort . The icing on the cake was where the girl from reception carried my suit case up some stairs to help, against my instruction .. Although I haven’t stayed for a full holiday here, on the basis of my day here I would ."
