Mochilero Ostello
4.7/55 Değerlendirme
I am from Hyderabad. Solo travelling was an unfulfilled wish for me. After the ease of covid first wave, I decided to fulfil it. I've put my career, friends and family aside for 15 days and travelled to Sikkim alone to stay in some offbeat place near mountains. I've chosen Pelling (West Sikkim) as it is less crowded than Gangtok, and North Sikkim also closer to the old monasteries and mountains. By the time I reach Pelling from Bagdogra airport, it was 5 PM, and surprisingly its utterly dark, and the temperature was around 6 degrees. I didn't book anything in advance to experience surprise and started searching for a hostel on Pelling streets. Then I found Mochirello Ostello. I just got the number and called, there I met Nimesh, the person who ***ages the hostel. He was courteous and picked me up from Pelling junction and offered me a hot tea and snacks to get warm. After 1 hour of settling things, I came out for a short walk with other roommates and started experiencing the spectacular view from Mochirello Ostello. Mochirello Ostello is a decent stay with all the necessary stuff like Wi-Fi, kitchen and a breathtaking view of Mt. Kanchenjunga. It is 1 km away from the Pelling marketplace, Pemayangstse monastery and Skywalk. Nimesh will arrange anything you want, like a vehicle to tour, paragliding, hiking, bonfire, and he can be your tour guide as well. If you are travelling alone or with a partner and want to explore the wilderness of Sikkim or work from the mountains, I recommend Mochirello Ostello is the go-to place for you. Just check in, forget about all the unnecessary luxuries, set up a bonfire, hold a local drink and enjoy the Mt. Kanchenjunga view in the moonlight.
