"Ever since this hotel has been built I have wanted to stay there. It was supposed to be one of the top hotels in Wuxi. As I have been travelling to Wuxi for over 26 years I decided to treat myself. What a disappointment. The shower gel was empty, It was impossible to get a seat at breakfast and the breakfast room looked like a war zone. It took me 15 minutes to get a coffee due to the sheer size of the people wiating in line. On top of that the staff looked miserable. All in all, it's not worth the money and there are much cheaper and better options in my opinion. I definitely will not be staying again. One really good thing though, was the view from my room."

Cause it's lift lobby shared with office building, very troublesome to get delivery. What's even worse is their reception service, keep disturbing me over the weekend, their cleaner totally ignored the door hanger sign of "rest" but kept knocking my door. And I also need to repeatly answer their calls. I am very pissed off. Won't book again."

The surrounding area is well-equipped with amenities, including a wide variety of unique restaurants, so finding a place to eat is never an issue. The front desk staff were very friendly and attentive, and both check-in and check-out were handled efficiently. They were also patient and helpful when answering any questions I had. The room itself was exceptionally clean with no overlooked spots, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. Overall, my stay was fantastic, and I'll definitely prioritize this hotel for future visits."

"Every year, my family of three visits the Lingshan Grand Buddha, and each time we choose a different hotel. This year, we opted for the Marriott, and even though it's about a 40-minute drive from the Buddha, we felt it was well worth it. Not only is the hotel's interior beautiful, but the scenery right across the street is also stunning! Liyuan Garden is just a short walk away, and we happened to catch their hydrangeas exhibition. The gardens were bursting with flowers, full of summer charm, and bustling with visitors. We stayed for two nights, and the breakfast was superb, offering both Western and Chinese options. The Wuxi xiaolongbao (steamed soup dumplings) and egg pancakes were absolutely delicious! For dinner at the Chinese restaurant, I'd say the steamed whitefish was the highlight; the fish was incredibly fresh and tender! White shrimp wasn't available at the time, but the silverfish soup was also exceptionally good. Furthermore, all the hotel staff were very polite and provided attentive and thoughtful service. We were all very satisfied."

"This newly opened Indigo Hotel in Wuxi truly exceeded my expectations – I have to give it a big shout-out! First off, the front desk service was incredibly thoughtful. The lady who checked me in was all smiles, patiently explained the hotel facilities, and even proactively upgraded my room type. What made me happiest was that, since it's summer, the front desk gave me two complimentary tickets for a night cruise on the Ancient Grand Canal! Going on the boat in the evening, feeling the breeze, and admiring the lights along the banks was an absolutely fantastic experience. This perk was so incredibly thoughtful. I also want to give a special thanks to the front desk staff. I was in such a rush when checking out that I left my favorite hat in the room. I quickly contacted the hotel, and without a second thought, the front desk confirmed it and immediately arranged to have it couriered back to me. This kind of service, where they truly care about even the smallest guest concerns, is genuinely heartwarming. In summary, this new Indigo hotel delivers on all fronts, both in terms of facilities and service. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Wuxi, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip here!"

"I was out late because the MixC West District just opened. I chose this hotel last-minute, but it turned out to be an experience that far exceeded my expectations and was a wonderful surprise! The hotel is located within a scenic area, and the entire area is operated by the hotel. The hotel group is state-owned, which means it's very well-regulated and meticulous. You know it won't be bad when it's sometimes used to host important dignitaries. Since I arrived quite late and there was availability, they upgraded me to a suite! It was huge, and the decor, attention to detail, and the view from the window were all superb. The brands and specifications of the home appliances were, of course, top-notch. It was a fantastic stay. On another note, I have to commend how well the old buildings in the scenic area have been preserved and developed!"

"The hotel's location is excellent. I stayed for three days, and it's very close to Mount Hui, Yuantouzhu, and Nanchang Street. The subway entrance is right downstairs. The view of Wuxi from the high floor is beautiful. The room I was given was very quiet. I really loved their breakfast – it was rich and the service was attentive; I wish I could have eaten more. Also, a big thank you to housekeeper Jessica for her meticulous care throughout my stay. She anticipated my needs and offered proactive, thoughtful service, leaving me with warm memories of this trip."

"The location is fantastic! It's just a few minutes' walk to Victory Gate subway station, and Metro Line 1 takes you directly to Wuxi Station in one stop. It's incredibly convenient for getting to Huishan Ancient Town and Nanchang Street. The room was spotlessly clean, tidy, and dry throughout. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a very peaceful night's rest. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient with both check-in and check-out. Plus, they offer free luggage storage, which is a huge convenience for exploring without being weighed down. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making dining and entertainment super easy. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Wuxi. Highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Wuxi!"

"I had a wonderful stay at Atour! The hotel is beautifully designed, with the lobby located on the 36th floor offering stunning panoramic views. The service was top-notch—every staff member I encountered was warm, professional, and attentive. My room was spotless and very comfortable. The hotel also offers several patio areas that are perfect for casual business meetings or just relaxing with a view. One of the thoughtful touches I really appreciated was the complimentary night snack—guests can enjoy porridge or dumplings in the evening, which adds a cozy, homely feel to the stay. Plus, all the snacks in the minibar are free, which was a pleasant surprise. While the gym is a bit small, it’s well-equipped and more than adequate for a good workout. The location is extremely convenient—just a short walk from the subway and directly connected to a mall with plenty of eateries and shops nearby. If I had to mention one minor downside, it would be the occasional low hum from the elevator, but it was subtle and didn’t affect my sleep or overall experience. Overall, Atour exceeded my expectations. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to both business and leisure travelers!"
