The location is ideal—within easy walking distance of major local restaurants, shops, and public transit. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning, which offered a great variety of fresh food. Overall, this hotel offers wonderful value and comfort. "Review in English Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel. We arrived quite late, that is true, but the hotel advertised a 24-hour reception. When we arrived, there was no one at the reception. We had to walk around nearby bars to find someone from the hotel. When the receptionist finally appeared, he smelled of alcohol and cigarettes, and he came with a cigarette in his mouth, which made a very poor first impression. The room was in a very bad condition when it came to cleanliness. As soon as we entered, it was obvious that the sink countertop had not been properly cleaned — it was dusty and covered in streaks. The mirror was dirty and splashed, there was limescale on the shower tap, and the bed frame was also stained. Under the armchair, we found someone else’s electronic cigarette, which clearly showed that the room had not been properly cleaned after the previous guests. There was dust everywhere, and the overall impression was that cleanliness was not taken seriously at all. Another major issue was the noise. The room had a view of the railway tracks, which may sound interesting, but in reality it meant very loud nights. The hotel clearly knows about this problem, as earplugs were provided in the room. Unfortunately, even with the earplugs, I could not sleep properly and kept waking up throughout the night. The swimming pool was also very disappointing. The hotel advertises it as one of its facilities, but in reality it was more like a very shallow paddling pool, with water only around ankle-deep. The area was dirty, the water did not look inviting, and no one was using it. On top of that, the pool is not exclusive to hotel guests — it is shared with several nearby bars and buildings, so it does not feel private or comfortable at all. The only positive thing was that there was a shower available, because the bathtub in the room was so dirty that it was not suitable for use. Its condition was very unpleasant and raised serious hygiene concerns. Overall: very poor cleanliness, unprofessional service, extreme noise, a disappointing pool, and a very bad experience in general. I definitely do not recommend this hotel."

"Ever since I was little, I'd gaze at the People's Grand Hotel from afar, always feeling like it was a mysterious place I longed to explore. Now, that wish has come true! For a few hundred dollars, I got to stay in this upscale hotel. It boasts a garden-style courtyard, bursting with vibrant flowers and alive with the sounds of birds and cicadas. The breakfast spread is incredibly rich, offering both Chinese and Western options. Parking is super convenient, and they even have a thoughtful car wash station. The room itself is cozy yet grand, fully equipped with everything you need, and wonderfully quiet for sleeping. Inside the courtyard, there's an olive tree, originally brought back by Premier Zhou Enlai, now flourishing beautifully. There are so many great things here that words simply can't capture them all."

"A good hotel definitely adds to a comfortable trip. This summer, I took my two children and elderly parents to Xi'an. With many people, there are many needs, and this hotel made planning for my family very easy – I was incredibly satisfied! We stayed for five nights in two rooms. Right downstairs, there are famous local eateries like Weinan Steamed Dumplings and Wei Family Liangpi, which covered all our breakfasts. Across the street is the Xiying TIME complex with plenty of dining options, including Korean and Sichuan cuisine, all of which tasted great. We tried different places every day, and my parents were happy. Just across the road are KFC and Pizza Hut, which my kids loved. The location is very convenient. Directly opposite is the Xi'an Film Studio, which has many activities daily, such as music festivals, film festivals, and literary events. We could pop over to explore in between sightseeing – there was a lot of fun to be had. The hotel is within walking distance of the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda; we visited it four times during our stay. When it got hot or we were tired, we'd just head back to the hotel to rest. It's also just a few stops away from Daming Palace, Xiaozhai, the City Wall, and the Shaanxi History Museum, making it very convenient to get anywhere. The hotel rooms are very spacious. The extra sofa, compared to other hotels in the same price range, brought us a lot of convenience, using it as a bed rail for the baby. The hotel service was excellent; all our requests were answered and addressed with enthusiasm. I had read some reviews about the air conditioning not being cool enough, but we didn't experience that at all. We visited in August, and the AC was very powerful. Plus, it's a smart room with stepless dimming lights. When the younger child needed to sleep, we could turn on just a little light so it wouldn't disturb their rest, which was very gentle on their eyes. Overall, as someone who wants to take good care of my family, I am extremely satisfied with choosing this hotel."

The service was excellent, and I was very satisfied throughout my entire stay."
