"1. **Ceiling Leaks and Mold – A Safety and Health Hazard** The ceiling in the room was extensively water-damaged, with large areas showing bubbling and clearly visible patches of black mold. The walls were damp and bulging, which was really off-putting. The mold spores floating around were definitely not good for breathing. The hotel completely failed to inform us of this significant issue beforehand. 2. **Dated and Dirty Furnishings** The carpet inside the room was yellowed and stained with black spots in multiple places. The edges of the seat cushions also had noticeable dirty marks. It was clear that cleaning was not up to par; walking barefoot or sitting down felt really uncomfortable. 3. **Overall Impression** For a price of over 300, they couldn't even provide a basic dry and clean living environment. The leaks and mold are major structural defects, and the hotel concealed this prior to our arrival. Seeing it upon check-in instantly ruined our mood. The actual condition was vastly different from the promotional pictures. The value for money is extremely low. I will not be returning, nor do I recommend others to make the same mistake."

"I stayed here in late May. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are pretty good, though it was a shame the weather wasn't great so I didn't get to see the 'golden mountains' lit by the sun. I especially want to praise the hotel staff; every single one of them was incredibly warm, thoughtful, and friendly, and they were very efficient. That made for a great experience. I even fell on the steps near the front desk, and a young lady working there got me some Yunnan Baiyao (a traditional Chinese medicine for injuries). However, the hotel's location is quite remote. The mountain roads are very steep, and it's difficult to pass other cars, making it inconvenient to get around. You're pretty much limited to eating at the hotel. Another issue was that the oxygen concentrator in the room was extremely noisy, buzzing all night long, which severely affected my sleep. At such high altitudes, you can't just turn it off without feeling uncomfortable. The room rate is quite high, so it would be much better if they could implement diffused oxygen supply to reduce the noise."

"After a fun trip to Mount Siguniang, I just had to leave a big thumbs up for the owner! Even though I forgot to take pictures inside, I can honestly say the photos are completely accurate – what you see is what you get. It was clean, hygienic, and bright, with wonderfully warm underfloor heating. Plus, there was a humidifier and an oxygen machine. The bathroom was also spotless and well-lit, and the toiletries smelled lovely and looked brand new and clean, so they're probably replaced frequently. The guesthouse location is also great, right in town, surrounded by other guesthouses and plenty of dining options. You can easily eat right here, as most places offer both lodging and meals. There's also a supermarket and a clinic nearby, which is convenient whether you need to stock up on supplies or see a doctor if you're not feeling well. It's very close to Changping Valley, only about a ten-minute drive. Even after we checked out in the morning, the owner personally drove us there, which was incredibly kind of him! And let's talk about the service: both the guesthouse owner and his wife are incredibly thoughtful and welcoming. We decided last minute to head back to Chengdu earlier than planned, and they helped us call a car. They even thoughtfully told me to call them if the car didn't contact me, and they'd follow up. The experience here was truly superb, a perfect 10! I highly recommend it!!! Don't believe those negative reviews; this place is absolutely worth staying at!"

It easily accommodated our group. • Amazing Perks: We were treated to complimentary fresh milk, a relaxing bath bomb, and a delicious Afternoon Tea set (Barley Butter Coffee/Tea). • Location: Perfect for visiting Siguniang Mountain (Four Sisters Mountain). It’s only a 10-15 minute drive to the park entrance. • Service: The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Although there was a language barrier, we communicated easily using translation apps. • Breakfast: A simple and healthy spread with fresh milk, coffee, mantou, dim sum, steamed pumpkin/sweet potato, and boiled eggs. We visited a pet cafe nearby for 2nd half of the afternoon (last few photos) and we had a great time chilling out with rest of her friends. It was indeed a relaxing day under a nice weather.
