"This was my second stay at the Yangzhou State Guesthouse, again in Building 8, and it was a great experience. This time, I booked a family room. In addition to the welcome fruit, we received yogurt every evening and tea suitable for a family of three, plus a blind box. All our meals could be enjoyed within the hotel. We savored authentic Huaiyang cuisine at 78 Taste in Building 11, Ju Restaurant in Building 18, and Shan Restaurant in Building 8. The hotel offered a variety of activities; we enjoyed the hot springs, experienced Yangzhou's intangible cultural heritage 'Three Knives,' and even had a travel photoshoot. Slender West Lake is within walking distance, and Geyuan Garden, Daming Temple, and the Grand Canal Museum are easily accessible by taxi."

"I specifically sought out the century-old 'Jiyuan Hostel,' a Republic of China-era residence, and my stay far exceeded expectations! The location is superb, tucked away in an old town alley, offering a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle. It's just a few minutes' walk to Dongguan Street and Caiyi Street, and very close to Fuchun Teahouse for morning tea and Ge Garden, making getting around incredibly convenient. The courtyard is charmingly antique, with wooden corridors and a blue-brick courtyard creating a wonderful ambiance. It's beautifully restored to its original glory, with picturesque views everywhere. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding comfortable, and the bathroom facilities complete. The soundproofing was good, making for a very quiet night. The front desk service was gentle and attentive. They were knowledgeable about local activities and proactively recommended sightseeing routes. It's a rare opportunity to stay in such a historic old building and experience the authentic charm of old Yangzhou. Next time I visit Yangzhou, this will still be my first choice. Highly recommended!"

Getting around on an e-scooter is really convenient!"

And when we left, they gave us an aromatherapy souvenir. This hotel completely exceeded our expectations. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely choose to stay here again. Oh, and the photographer was really good too, and had a great attitude!"

We made an appointment with the front desk in advance to have it delivered to the room. The portion is so big that we can’t finish it. We went to the Slender West Lake nightclub. Entering the park at six o'clock, the ironwork, firework, phoenix and lion dance performance was really exciting. Then we left the park at nine o'clock to soak in the hot spring opposite. After soaking in the hot spring, we walked through the Songcheng Park next to it and returned to the hotel. The hotel also gave me a fragrance tag when I checked out. The overall feeling is very good, especially during the Chinese New Year, the price/performance ratio is very high."

"Overall, the room was good, clean and hygienic. Since it was still World Cup season, all the staff were wearing German team uniforms. The hotel lobby is on the 5th floor, and on the ground floor, staff were constantly greeting guests, helping with luggage, pressing elevator buttons, and opening car doors. The shower pressure in the room was excellent, and the breakfast selection was quite rich, with all the essentials available and the taste being decent. My only minor complaint is that I booked a two-night stay, but housekeeping didn't make the bed as requested; it was exactly as I left it. While I don't expect the linens to be changed daily, I do believe the bed should at least be made properly. I hope this can be improved in the future."
