"The hotel's location is good, but this stay was extremely unpleasant. First, the receptionist was sullen and unresponsive, and the bellhop was unresponsive as well. Upon arriving at the room, we discovered there was no air conditioning. Thinking we didn't know how to use the switch, we called the front desk for 15 minutes without answering, and room service also went unanswered. When we went out to eat, we tried to ask the front desk, but no one was there! We asked the bellhop, who was equally reluctant and told us the front desk was in the restroom and we'd have to wait 10 minutes. It's ridiculous that a supposedly 5-star hotel would behave like this. About 15 minutes later, the front desk returned with a poker face, no smile, and no apology. They told us we could go eat and they would have someone fix it. About two hours later, when we returned to the hotel, the room still had no air conditioning. We called the front desk again for about 10 minutes without answering, but thankfully they called back after 5 minutes. They hesitated, and after my persistent questioning, they finally admitted that the air conditioning was broken that day. I asked when it broke, and they told us it had broken at 5 pm, meaning the hotel already knew about it before we checked in. I requested a full refund. The front desk said they would check with the manager, and after 10 minutes they told me I could get a full refund, and the refund would be processed through the place where I made the booking. By this time, it was already 11:30 PM. Although Ctrip eventually refunded me, they told me that the agent had contacted the hotel, but the hotel hadn't agreed to the refund; Ctrip refunded me directly! I want to ask, why would you continue to work with an agent like this? I had to handle the whole thing myself, communicate with them myself, and find the hotel myself. The agent was absolutely terrible. The hotel's service was also extremely poor!"

"We stayed at the Holiday Inn Yerevan - Republic Square for three days to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Pros: excellent central location, thorough cleaning, very attentive staff, and decent breakfasts featuring Armenian cuisine. Upon check-out, the hotel gave us a complimentary gift for our anniversary – a delicious assortment of dried fruits, which was a lovely gesture. Cons: The room for two people was very cramped; there was no space to open a suitcase, storage was inconvenient, and the overall room layout was poorly designed. The bathroom was also tiny. At night, the blinking fire alarm light was disruptive, and we could hear street noise. A separate issue was the spa: there was no complimentary water available after the saunas, only a bottle for 300 dram, which seems odd for a hotel of this caliber."
