"Staying at Secret Garden felt like having a home nestled among the peaks. This sprawling hundred-acre estate boasts only five private villas, so quiet that all you hear are the wind and birdsong. The 10 minutes after sunset were truly beautiful; soaking in the private hot spring while listening to the sounds of insects and birds, my entire being just relaxed. The room was clean, and the bedding quality was excellent. Hot water flowed quickly and steadily. The butler was attentive but not intrusive, confirming our route in advance and meeting us at the entrance. In the afternoon, I enjoyed a pour-over coffee at the café, gazing at the mountains. In the evening, the small bar lit up, and I had a custom cocktail before heading back to my room feeling pleasantly tipsy. It was incredibly quiet at night, though there weren't many activities. The views, facilities, and service were all top-notch. I would definitely come again and highly recommend it."

"Hygiene: Woke up in the morning to find two large cockroaches in the room and bathroom. Environment: The environment was average. Service: Issues were handled proactively. Facilities: The decor is very old and poorly maintained, so lower your expectations. Luckily, having lived in Guangdong, I'm used to 'little strong ones' (cockroaches); someone who isn't would be shocked 😮. There weren't many food options at the nearby street stalls (mostly chicken), so I drove to the city for dinner. When I returned, my designated parking spot was taken by a car from the building next door (leaving me nowhere to park). It took an hour for the hotel to resolve the issue. It turned out the neighbor took my spot because someone opposite *their* spot took theirs, and a car from the 2nd floor took the 1st floor's spot – a whole chain of occupied spots. Besides some tourists who didn't follow hotel parking instructions and parked wherever they pleased (lack of etiquette), I also believe there's a management deficiency from the hotel. As for breakfast, if you're not very hungry, it's best to skip it; there's genuinely nothing worth eating."

"I was a bit hesitant when booking, worried it might be a tent or a wooden cabin. But the moment I arrived, I was instantly and pleasantly surprised! There's a huge common area, and currently only five independent guest rooms. The design is really clever: concrete houses built elevated over a stream, hidden under large trees, yet the massive panoramic windows offer direct views of distant mountains and their reflections, perfectly privatizing the unique landscape of Yingxi Peak Forest. On top of that, a large roof membrane provides insulation, rain protection, and a spacious terrace. The service felt attentive and friendly even before check-in. Both the rooms and common areas are clean and refreshing. Breakfast and afternoon tea are not only Instagram-worthy but also healthy. Once inside the guesthouse, you won't want to leave. The vast fields of foxtail grass in the evening and the beautifully lit night view are incredibly healing. The main building also offers coffee during the day, drinks at night, and handicrafts. One night isn't enough; next time, I'll slow down and stay for a few days. The only drawback was that the road to get there was hard to find. We turned from the main road onto a small path and thought we had taken a wrong turn."
