"BEST COST PERFOMANCE HOTEL Right opposite the JR Yonago station. Ok, yes its a little old and run down, but its a less than 5min walk from the station, rooms are bigger than normal business hotels in Japan (The single room has a queen size bed and a sofa !) , has free basic dinner and breakfast option for the guests, and service is good. The only down side was the stairs in front of the main entrance. They do not have any elevators there. But overall reccomend to all travelers."

"The traditional Japanese garden is exquisite and very elegant. The rooms are spacious, and despite the property's age, the facilities are exceptionally well-maintained. From the balcony, you can take in views of both the mountains and the garden, and the sound of the nearby ocean waves adds to a wonderfully serene and comfortable ambiance. Breakfast was incredibly rich and satisfying! If you're looking for a private onsen experience, the 'family bath' is available for rent and is very affordable."

"1. Pros Right next to Yonago Station, it's a great location for travelers without a rental car. Aeon Mall is within walking distance, and the entertainment district is across the street, making it a great place for drinks at night. The staff is friendly. 2. Cons This is an older hotel, so the interior feels musty and dark. While the rooms across from the main entrance have large windows, the parking tower directly in front makes it difficult to open the curtains. It's not bad for just sleeping, but the price is a bit on the pricey side for just sleeping."

The biggest problem was the appalling cleanliness of the room; there were even bloodstains on the tatami mat! After speaking with the front desk manager, I was transferred to a room in the main building. The main building room was the one that truly met the four-star hotel standard."

"First of all, the waves crash right outside the window. This is a happy place for people who love the sea. Good free massage facilities. It takes less than 5 minutes from the bus stop. However, the stairs on the way to the west building are abysmal. People carrying luggage will have a hard time. Perhaps because I looked strong, there was no one to help me. Breakfast is so-so. Rice is provided for free. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to see the sea"

"The hotel is very easy to find; you can spot it as soon as you exit Yonago Station. While the rooms are a bit basic, the bathrooms are decent, and the large public bath on the 15th floor is perfect for unwinding after a day of travel. "The hotel staff were incredibly friendly; they patiently communicated with me and helped book a taxi, even with my limited Japanese. There was a wide variety of yukata available to choose from, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Our traditional Japanese room was incredibly spacious and clean. It was a pity we only stayed one night and missed out on the large public bath, but having a private hot spring tub in our room was a fantastic alternative. This is definitely a ryokan I'd love to visit again!"
