GRAND NEW CENTURY RESORT Siming Lake Yuyao

"I rarely write reviews, but this stay was truly awful, so I'm warning others to avoid it. 1. The air conditioner was incredibly noisy and barely cooled anything. It was stuffy and unbearably hot all night, the temperature never dropped, and there were no screens on the windows, so mosquitoes were everywhere. I couldn't sleep well. 2. The decor was outdated, several corridor lights were broken, and the toilet was poorly positioned; sitting on it meant my face was practically touching the shower stall. 3. The breakfast restaurant was chaotic; people were grabbing seats and food, and the guests were generally uncivilized, with no one seeming to care. 4. Most importantly, the price is the biggest issue. The environment and service absolutely do not justify the 900+ RMB per night price; it's only worth 400-500 RMB at most."

"In Siming Mountain, the mountain road is a bit winding. In a quaint village, the snowy walls of the newly opened hotel are a bit abrupt. Hotel service staff is very responsible, the overall environment is not bad Cliff coffee tastes good, breakfast is also very rich, grilled mushrooms win my heart, and the night before yesterday saw the restaurant staff handmade plum dried pork cakes, breakfast on the spot, very fragrant!"

"When booking a room on Ctrip Business Travel, there are options for meals, one breakfast, and two breakfasts. If I am traveling alone on business and I am not sick, would I order two breakfasts? The front desk actually thought that I should not be given breakfast when I booked one breakfast. I was told that breakfast was included when booking, but in the end I was given a breakfast coupon, which seemed like a gesture of charity. It was a very bad stay experience. I can't afford to offend, but I can afford to avoid it."

GRAND HOUSE YUYAO ★★★★★
"First, my room was supposedly upgraded for free, but it was on the second floor. I had to carry all my luggage up myself. The stairs were quite steep, with many steps and two sections. From the entrance to the stairs, there was no light at night, and the stairs didn't have automatic sensors, so I had to find my way in the dark. It was a terrible experience. This type of room upgrade is not suitable for people with disabilities, the elderly, or children. It's an unfriendly design. Second, the hotel shuttle bus experience was very poor. On the morning of August 4th, going to the breakfast hall, the male shuttle driver liked to brake abruptly and make sharp turns. I almost got thrown out at a bend near the restaurant. On the morning of August 5th, returning from the restaurant to my room, as the shuttle crossed the bridge, we suddenly encountered someone watering plants. The water from the sprayer directly hit my arm and body. There was also a child and two female passengers in the same car; the female passengers' cups of water for the child were completely splashed, and they had to pour out the drinks while still in the bus. Third, the TV signal in the room was inconsistent, good one day and bad the next. The Bluetooth speaker, however, never connected. The attention to detail was severely lacking. Overall, this hotel is not friendly for families, the elderly, or people with disabilities. Although the architecture is nice, I will not stay there again."
