"It turns out the air conditioning system in our room was faulty. I later saw similar complaints on other platforms and also informed the hotel. Every 30 to 45 minutes, it made a very loud and disturbing drilling-like noise for 3 to 10 minutes—even when it was turned off. We couldn’t sleep at all during the night. Since the hotel has no reception, the only solution was to leave early in the morning and find another hotel. As it was our first visit to this country, I can't say it started off well. You could say we were given a defective room. Other issues weren’t major, but there was an industrial smell coming from the chimney area, and there is no elevator."

"I had an incredibly disappointing experience with City Lodge Zagreb. Despite paying for a two-day stay, they canceled my entire booking due to a missed first day without any communication. Attempts to reach them were futile, and their suggestion to raise a claim with *********** was unacceptable. Additionally, when I requested to utilize the second night I had already paid for, it was refused. Their lack of professionalism is evident, and I cannot recommend them to anyone."
