"I used to think that chains like Home Inn and GreenTree Inn were just budget hotels, and probably pretty average in all aspects. However, my recent stay at Home Inn Business Travel in Zhangye really surprised me in a good way. I was traveling with my two kids and we stayed in a suite. It was incredibly clean, with two separate rooms, two bathrooms with showers – plenty of comfortable space for everyone. There was even a mini-fridge, so I could make iced Americanos with my Starbucks instant coffee. The breakfast was also very generous. If I had to point out one small area for improvement, it would be that our suite, 8316, was on the third floor right next to the laundry room. It got a bit noisy at night when guests were using the washing machine and dryer. Also, I was in a rush during check-out and accidentally left behind two hangers I had brought myself."

The city was clean and spacious, a stark contrast to the crowded and disorganized atmosphere of eastern cities. We spent three whole days there and left completely satisfied."

"There are many dining options near the hotel. The front desk staff are friendly—they not only served us tea upon arrival but also helped take our luggage to the elevator entrance. The room is equipped with smart devices, and Xiaodu can help control the lights, curtains, TV, and even play music. Around 3:30 a.m., we were woken up by a fire alarm. All guests were evacuated to the street across from the hotel, where staff and firefighters could investigate the issue. The alarm was not lifted until about 5 a.m., allowing us to return to our rooms to sleep. When checking out in the morning, we learned that a drunk guest had shattered a fire alarm. The hotel gave us a full refund—a very responsible approach that deserves praise. The hotel should strictly prohibit guests from smoking in the hallways. Even though non-smoking rooms are requested, the smell of cigarette smoke drifts in from the corridor. I hope the hotel can improve this"

"This area is fantastic! It's so convenient for dining and sightseeing. Zhangye has been a bit hot lately, but the hotel's air conditioning was wonderfully cool. The hotel is located right in the city center, and parking is also very convenient. The lobby is decorated quite luxuriously too."

"My experience at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The lobby was spacious and bright, the rooms were elegantly furnished and felt very cozy, and offered delightful views. Cleanliness was exceptional; the sheets and bedding were pristine and fresh, with not a single speck of dirt even in the bathroom corners. Xiao Bai at the front desk was incredibly enthusiastic and professional, processing everything efficiently and even thoughtfully recommending local dining spots. Her warm and professional service truly made me feel valued. The value for money here is outstanding, and I'll definitely be back!"

"I heard this is the best hotel in Zhangye city. It's quite large and relatively new. The front desk staff were very attentive, enthusiastic, and proactive. The hotel facilities are also quite modern, and they even have robots for room service, which ensures guest privacy and safety. When checking out, they offered a souvenir mini-fan, snacks, and water, which was a really thoughtful touch. However, the only minor flaw I found was the poor soundproofing in the rooms. I could clearly hear normal conversations in the hallway, let alone kids yelling in the morning – that actually woke me up! Perhaps they could look into adding some further soundproofing. 👍 Overall, my stay was very pleasant. P.S. The sour plum juice in the lobby was delicious, and it helped me complete my Zhangye 'punch card' album!"

The hotel is incredibly thoughtful – they provide all sorts of snacks and treats, and even offer milk and a special congee (babaozhou) in the evenings, plus a foot spa bucket! While the facilities aren't brand new, as it's an older hotel, you can clearly see the management's dedication. Five stars!"

From the moment we got out of the car, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helped us with our luggage all the way to our room, which is a service I haven't experienced in many other hotels. The front desk service was great and they were very helpful in resolving any issues. The room had so many thoughtful touches, like cucumber slices for a facial mask, a foot bath bucket for a relaxing soak after a long day, and a humidifier. They truly went above and beyond! I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in the area."
