"First off, the staff at this hotel are all excellent. The security guard even insisted on helping me with my luggage, even though I said I could manage. The front desk was incredibly helpful, answering all my questions and processing my invoice quickly. The room had so many thoughtful extras – cucumber masks, foot soaks, little trinkets, it was like a treasure hunt, and my kid loved it! The restaurant was a personal highlight; as a fan of Chinese food, I was in heaven. They had six or seven types of congee alone, plus Ganzhou noodles and savory oil tea – I was so satisfied, everything was delicious! There were so many other dishes too, all tasty. The staff also proactively helped arrange for beef noodles. Finally, they even gave us some dates as a parting gift; they were so incredibly warm and welcoming. Oh, and I loved the room layout; we each had our own sleeping area, plus a dedicated space for work, and it was very spacious. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Zhangye!"

"This is a fantastic hotel; I stayed for three days. First off, the location is excellent, very close to Zhangye West Station. The front desk staff, especially the lovely lady who checked me in, was incredibly hospitable and enthusiastically provided information about the hotel, local transportation, and tourist attractions. The room and bedding were clean and tidy. The hotel's breakfast offered a wide variety of options and largely met our needs. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Zhangye."

Zhangye Shengjing Hongtu Hotel (Zhangye West Railway Station Dafo Temple) ★★★
"Hygiene: The shower was full of tiny flying insects, probably due to the humidity. The floor drain was outside the shower, so the water wouldn't drain properly when showering – really confusing. Facilities: The soundproofing was terrible. I could hear people running and talking loudly in the hallway at 1 AM, even their conversations from inside their rooms. It really affected my sleep."

"I booked a king-size room, which was very spacious. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, but the shower was oddly located inside the toilet area. It featured a smart toilet and electric curtains. There were four bottles of water in the room, two outside and two in the minibar. I was surprised to find a towel rack on the vanity – this was the only hotel with one I encountered during my entire Qinghai-Gansu Loop trip! In the drawer, there was also a book called "History of Zhangye," which I browsed through; it was a detailed introduction to the geography, history, and local customs of Zhangye. Dinghe International and Jianguo Puxin are in the same building, with Dinghe International occupying floors 11-15 and Jianguo Puxin on floors 5-10. There was a breakfast buffet in the morning, and the front desk even provided a complimentary breakfast for my child."

"You can't go wrong with Hilton. I stayed at three hotels during my trip to Gansu, and Hilton was definitely the best. The mattress was just right, not too soft and not too hard, breakfast was plentiful, and the service was excellent! Zhangye is worth another visit! I'll definitely choose Hilton again!"
Tuke Shanglin Hotel
"The hotel is prominently situated, literally directly in front of West Zhangye station. A 200m walk will take you to Tuke Shanglin. Adjacent to Zhangye Xi zhan is a Tourist passenger station with buses to Pingshan grand canyon and Danxia landforms. The hotel has lots of rooms, all on the 2nd floor. It provides quite good accommodation with modern facilities and furnishings - a comfortable double bed, a separated shower enclosure and toilet, a wash basin with a lot of space. The room lacked a window, but more than made for this with an electric operated sunroof, a feature not often seen. The interior climate and lighting can be controlled to a refined level by way of the very efficient air conditioning system and the sunroof. The room supplied a water boiler and free bottled water, replenished each day by the staff. There are also two washing machines and a clothes dryer on the ground (1st) floor which are free for guest use. Overall, a good option when visiting Zhangye."

"Standard Jianguo Puyin room, new facilities, and powerful air conditioning. Parking is convenient with an underground garage. Special shout-out to the front desk: Li Haofei. He was responsive and hands-on with every request. Five stars for him!"
