It’s a very charming place with a real wabi-sabi atmosphere - simple, quiet, and full of nostalgic beauty. Quite old-fashioned, but well maintained. This spot became popular on a Russian platform, so there are many tourists from Russia ( me as well) . When I visited the onsen, there were seven people in total - all Russian girls. Overall, it doesn’t stop you from having a great rest. However, it’s not really suitable for a honeymoon, as my husband and I were separated the whole time — there are no mixed onsens for men and women, probably because the place is now mostly visited by foreigners. When we checked out, they kindly drove us back to the station. I left with a complete sense of relaxation. Thank you!

Hotel CLAD offers an amazing stay with stunning views of Mount Fuji, especially from the rooms and onsen areas. Waking up to such a clear, unobstructed view was truly the highlight of the trip. The hotel is very reasonably priced for the view, quality, space, and experience you get, making it excellent value for money. The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable, with large windows that really let you enjoy the scenery. The view from lobby is crazy beautiful. It’s also just next to Gotemba premium outlets! The private onsen is a big plus—perfect for relaxing in privacy while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Overall, Hotel CLAD combines great views, comfort, and affordability, and is an excellent choice for a relaxing stay in Gotemba. Highly recommended. I would like to commend Rai for her help with my last minute bus booking to Shinjuku. She was super helpful and patient. Expect great customer service from their staff.

Otel çok bakımlı ve tüm personel güler yüzlü. Giriş yaparken beklenmedik birkaç küçük sorun yaşadık. Resepsiyon personeli Bay Chikara Chino'nun büyük yardımı sayesinde, çözüm bulmak için çok sabırlı ve duyarlı davrandı. Sorun kısa sürede çözüldü ve sorunsuz bir şekilde giriş yaptık. Otel harika. Turistlere bu tarihi ve simgesel mekanda konaklamalarını ve deneyimlemelerini şiddetle tavsiye ederim. Ayrıca konaklamamız sırasında tanıştığımız tüm ekibe çok teşekkürler - hepiniz çok iyi bir ekipsiniz :)

Kameya'da kalmayı her düşündüğümde çok komik geliyor! Oda fena değildi. Başlangıçta klima ve banyo havalandırmasının çok sessiz olduğundan ve kıyafetlerimin kuruyamayacağından endişelendim. Ama onları gece boyunca banyoda bıraktıktan sonra tamamen kurudular! Odadakilerde de aynı şey oldu, ki buna gerçekten minnettarım! Ancak odadaki elektrik prizleri biraz sınırlıydı, özellikle de artık herkesin bir telefonu ve taşınabilir şarj cihazı varken, bu biraz yetersiz hissettirdi! Otel, Ito İstasyonu'na iki dakikalık yürüme mesafesinde, bu da çok kullanışlı. Ito İstasyonu'nun yakınında bir Meis Baccarat da var. Hamam günün farklı saatlerinde cinsiyet değiştiriyor. Geceleri kadınlar hamamı ek binanın bodrum katında bulunuyor. Oraya vardığımda kimse oda kartımı kontrol etmiyordu veya benzeri bir şey yapmıyordu ve odayı koruyan kimse de yoktu. Orada tek ben vardım. Biraz korkutucuydu çünkü kötü niyetli biri sokaktan içeri girebilirdi...

Overall experience is good. The highlight of the hotel is the rooftop with Mt.Fuji view where you can have a foot spa. This place also offer a hot spring onsen, some free snack, drinks too. The room is big and comfortable. The pantry comes with all the consumables including detergent and laundry pods which is great! Amazing view on mt fuji! Adding one more tissue box in such big room is advisable. The standalone TV actually leaves no space to close the curtain so configuration would need to be reviewed. Our gratitude to the operation team and the laundry company in finding our lost medical gadget!

When I check in a girl staff explain to me very good .I mis understand she told the hotel doesn' t provide the drink water in room so you bring your water bottle to get drinking water in lobby. But when I did the man staff shout at me and ran to me almost to grab my water bottle in my hand ..I shock I try to explain why he didn t care it is very rude to me .Hotel good.

MMisafir KullanıcıObsługa co prawda nie mówi po angielsku, ale dało się dogadać przy użyciu translatora. Użycie pralki kosztuje dodatkowe 500 JPY, ale wtedy w cenie są środki do prania. Całkiem ładny onsen, który rezerwuje się na 45 minut, pełni on również rolę prysznica, więc jeśli chcesz się wykąpać to i tak musisz go zarezerwować. Nam udało się to zrobić mailowo, za co jesteśmy wdzięczni, gdyż przyjechaliśmy dopiero po godzinie 19. Nie polecam natomiast śniadania - jest dość drogie, a do tego nie ma go zbyt dużo, ok. 1-2h po śniadaniu byliśmy już głodni.

The room was spacious and clean. They had an onsen which was lovely. The Japanese women guests were helpful in my navigation of the use of the bath. Breakfast was very good. Dinner was fine but not very unique. We found a number of fun things to do around town.

MMisafir KullanıcıWe had a truly wonderful stay at Ittouan. The experience was exceptional from beginning to end. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They noticed us from far away and immediately came to help carry our luggage. One of the staff members, a lovely young lady who spoke excellent English, was especially helpful and made communication very easy. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask her name, but I would like to thank her again. We booked both dinner and breakfast, and the meals were fantastic. The ingredients were very fresh and the variety was impressive. Every dish was different and beautifully prepared. However, for two women like us, the portions were honestly quite generous — even sharing one meal between two people might have been enough! The location is excellent. The hotel provides a free shuttle to Kawazu Station, which makes it extremely convenient for visiting the Kawazu cherry blossoms. It is also very close to the beautiful coastline, so the surroundings are lovely. Our room had a private onsen bath where we could soak while enjoying the view of cherry blossoms, which was a truly special experience. There is also a larger private bath available by reservation (free of charge). We also tried the hot stone spa, which was incredibly effective in relieving the fatigue after my marathon. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. I would love to come back again in the future, hopefully with my family. 一灯庵で本当に素晴らしい滞在をさせていただきました。最初から最後までとても心温まる体験でした。 到着したとき、スタッフの皆さまは遠くから私たちに気づいてくださり、すぐに荷物を運ぶのを手伝ってくださいました。その心遣いにとても感動しました。特に英語がとても上手な可愛らしい女性スタッフの方がいらっしゃって、丁寧に対応してくださり安心して滞在することができました。残念ながらお名前を伺うのを忘れてしまいましたが、この場を借りて改めて感謝をお伝えしたいです。 夕食と朝食の両方をお願いしましたが、お料理はどれも本当に素晴らしかったです。食材はとても新鮮で、品数も多く、一つ一つ丁寧に作られているのが伝わってきました。すべて違う料理で楽しませていただきました。ただ、私たち二人（女性）には少し量が多く、とても贅沢なボリュームでした。 立地もとても良く、河津駅まで無料の送迎があるので河津桜を見に行くのにもとても便利でした。また、美しい海岸も近く、散歩するだけでもとても気持ちの良い場所でした。 お部屋の温泉では桜を眺めながらゆっくり入ることができ、とても特別な時間を過ごすことができました。また、無料で予約できる貸切風呂もあり、温泉を存分に楽しめました。さらにホットストーンスパも利用しましたが、マラソンを走った後の疲れが本当に和らぎ、とてもリラックスできました。 スタッフの皆さまの温かいおもてなしのおかげで、忘れられない滞在になりました。ぜひまた家族と一緒に訪れたいと思います。本当にありがとうございました。

One of the things we appreciated most was the value for money — the room rates were very reasonable, especially considering the location and what was included. If you're driving, parking is no issue at all. There’s a parking area right behind the hotel, and the front desk offers discount coupons to help reduce the cost — a small touch that goes a long way. What made this hotel especially ideal for us was how easy it was to explore the city on foot. From the hotel, we walked to the Musical Instrument Museum and visited several other nearby attractions without needing to move the car. After a half day of exploring, we simply drove about 10 minutes to reach Yamaha Innovation Road, which was another highlight of our trip. While the hotel is on the smaller side, it never felt cramped. In fact, it gave off a cozy, boutique vibe that made our stay feel personal and welcoming. The breakfast was simple but satisfying, and their signature dish — the grilled eel fried rice — was absolutely delicious. It’s a must-try if you’re staying here! The hotel also provides thoughtful amenities, including yukata robes, quality shampoo and soap, and even a humidifier in the room — perfect for keeping the air comfortable during dry seasons. Throughout our stay, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They were attentive, warm, and always ready to help with a smile. Whether it was providing local recommendations or helping with parking, their service truly stood out. All in all, this hotel offered a blend of convenience, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality. If you're visiting the area and want a peaceful base with easy access to city attractions, excellent service, and that rare feeling of being genuinely welcomed — this is the place. We’d gladly stay here again.

MMisafir KullanıcıI suppose the charm of Atami is that the whole area is a little bit 'dated' as far as a resort goes, and this hotel definitely aligns with that - it seems like a place that was once great and is now kind of just rolling along bringing in what money it can. The food is serviceable but totally uninspired - an upscale cafeteria masquerading as something better than it is with 'chefs' wearing their whites. The entire dining room constantly smells of fryer oil from the tempura - which they still make and keep stock of in such large quantities that it is never fresh and crispy anyways (especially the shrimp, which has not been sufficiently dried before battering). The remaining hot dishes are very disappointing both in terms of variety and overall flavor. The sushi and sashimi is the standout of the food, although it too is very basic - not anything that will blow your mind, but acceptably tasty and reasonably fresh (although on our second night everything tasted a bit soapy/bleachy). As a westerner you will be very disappointed by the breakfast, although that's a 'me' problem rather than a hotel problem per se. The spa facilities are nice but a bit dated - be careful in your selection of both time and location unless you want to be surrounded with many loud (mostly Chinese) children. Private spas are available and are quite nice, although again dated. Nonetheless at around 60 USD for an hour the price is good for the privacy, especially as a westerner who is otherwise subject to quite a bit of staring at this mostly local and Chinese spa. We stayed in a deluxe king room, which was spacious with an enormous and comfortable bed, and a (For japan) reasonably sized tub. Room and desk service was good. The hotel is a bit off the beaten path but has regular free shuttles to/from Atami station, which is where the main tourist streets for shopping etc can be found. Highly suggest checking out Golden Eye for some excellent Ramen.

Everything was fine, the room for 3 was enourmous, clean and fresh. Its located right at the zoo entrance, with a discount for zoo tickets. The only problem is its location - every restaurant around closes at 5 pm, so quite inconvenient. Even when we were looking on Google maps for an open restaurants and it said they were open - they were closed in reality. Spent almost 2h looking for food)) So you better ask hotel staff to find you a place to eat, even better if they call in a restaurants.

MMisafir KullanıcıThe hotel is clean and the room is spacious, if you’re into Zen etc then it’s perfect location for that, Otherwise you will need to resort to shuttle bus and in our case we rented a car to get around the local areas. I didn’t know that regardless of you use it or not you will be charged for the onsen fee, which no one tell us at check in, it’s a small thing but it would be nice to be told everything upfront.
