Yıldönümümüzü kutlamak için Yanyun Otel'de kaldık ve otelden ve yönetimden çok memnun kaldık👍 Her otel çalışanına restoran personeli ve park servis otobüsü personeli dahildir. Herkes çok kibar, düşünceli ve birinci sınıf hizmet anlayışına sahip. Konukların ihtiyaçlarını karşılamak için rasyonel talimatlar kullanıyorlar. Kahvaltı basit olmasına rağmen malzemeler kaliteli! Geceleri tatlı çorba çok iç açıcı! Özellikle uşak ”Cola” düşünceli düzenlemeler yaptı. I recently stayed at this brand-new hotel (opened in 2024), and it was such a nice experience. If you want a place with lots of extras, this is it. They have two pool tables, a small rooftop pool, and two gyms—one for yoga and Pilates with all the equipment, and another with treadmills, bikes, free weights, and even a Smith machine. There’s also a laundry room with washers, which was really handy. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices, but you’ll want to arrive early to get the best selection. The staff were all very friendly, but Fei Xiu (绯袖) on WeChat was especially helpful—she answered all my questions quickly and made everything easy. The location isn’t right on the riverbank near the Starlight Market, but it’s not far from tourist spots either. It’s actually in a good spot if you want a quieter stay while still being close enough to everything. If you’re looking for a modern, well-equipped hotel with great service, I’d definitely recommend this one!

房間挺舒服的，前台還給升級了房型，房間正對泳池，景色還不錯，也挺衞生的，早餐品種也多味道還可以，雖然對着街道會有點吵，但是把陽台門關上後基本就沒聲音了，位置離高鐵站和機場比較近，如果不考慮去景區的距離的話還是可以住的，如果要去星光夜市之類遊玩的可以選擇近一點的，不然太遠了，打車都要三十分鐘，晚上會放音樂和噴泉秀，可以玩一玩，樓頂有健身房和洗衣間，但沒去過不知道咋樣 不好的地方就是廁所會有點味道，我入住的第一天就有點味道，但不是很明顯，第二天起來發現馬桶漏水了，味道就有點重了，建議酒店可以好好檢查一下 總體來説還是比較推薦的

酒店真的不錯，每個人都很熱情，還額外贈送了小朋友的早餐，每天打掃房間的阿姨都會額外多送幾瓶水！酒店位置還可以離星光夜市大約步行15分鐘左右（1.1km左右），飯後消消食很適合的距離，離曼聽2.7km左右，離景洪農貿市場3.4km左右，小電驢出行3.5元搞定！酒店附近的小吃很多，請記得找連鎖的，乾淨衞生，不然你的腸胃受不了！版納是個適合“步行”的城市，交通實在不敢恭維

When I started planning our itinerary for our 15 day Yunnan holiday, I plotted out our path to go all the way up to Shangri-la, back down to Kunming and then to Jiaozi Snow Mountain and Dongchuan Red Land. Then I chanced upon a video of Aini Garden and fell in love! The only reason we came to Pu'er was to get to Aini. This was the first place I booked, and I really took a chance because it has a no cancellation policy and I really had to stick to the date once it was made. The initial pre-arrival experience was less than pleasant. I didn't know how we were going to get to the manor and my WeChat messages went unanswered. The hotel we stayed at in Pu'er finally got in touch with someone and got them to message me. I asked how we could get there and the answer was a curt ”take a taxi or charter a car”. No pleasantries of ”we look forward to seeing you” or offering to arrange a car. When we arrived, no one was at reception and no one came out. Our driver was so perplexed he wondered if we were in the right place and if the place was open. Finally a young girl came out and registered us in. There was an air of aloofness from everyone else. However, once we were checked in, things warmed up quickly. We were offered coffee and freshly cut papaya and had a nice introduction chat with the lady staff. The bedroom and bathroom is well appointed, spacious and comfortable. We would have enjoyed sitting on the balcony if the chairs were more comfortable. I love the floor to ceiling glass windows but the panel above the door should also be glass (it is just netting) so traffic sounds from the road actually comes through at night. I actually wanted to book the cottage in the hills but opted for the standard room in the main house because I was worried it would be cold. Big regret as it is actually magnificently located with stunning views. However take note that you will need to call for a buggy ride or make a 1km hike every time you want to eat or get to the main house. If you are self driving, no issues as you can park right next to the cottage. Anyway it's a small price to pay for an unlimited view of the milky way and seclusion. This is as close to a Ryokan experience as you can get in China, minus the hot springs. 3 days 2 nights of blissful, carefree living is not quite enough. They make sure they feed you well, with the freshest produce available for hotpot dinner and home-cooked Yunnanese dishes for lunch. There are so many activities organised, from taking you up the mountain for a glimpse of sunrise (with mountain goats for company ❤️) to coffee plantation education tour to horseback riding along the mountain ridges (the view is spectacular!) to scavenging for wild vegetables and fruits to drinking, dancing and singing around the campfire! So much to do, so little time! One area of improvement I personally would like to see is the coffee serving. They tend to be quite snobbish about how their coffee is taken. Neat, with nothing else. Asking for sugar or milk feels nearly scorned upon. Coffee is a versatile drink and can be savoured in a huge variety of ways. How else is Starbucks so successful? I felt kind of stifled and deprived because I love a good latte and had looked forward to enjoying an unlimited indulgence of coffee throughout our stay. Anyhow, I love the ecotourism efforts here. It feels natural and unpretentious. I love the people and the camaraderie they cultivate. I especially enjoyed talking to their consultant 敬梅, a beautiful lady with extensive knowledge in Yunnan culture and ecological progress. Also thank you to 徐芳 for arranging transport back to town and giving helpful recommendations. We hope to return again.

Hotel was well located within the old town so we could easily explore the old town. Hotel includes a photoshoot, tie dye experience as well as daily afternoon tea, free pu-er tea cake and animal encounter which elevated our entire stay and made us felt really welcome. Our personal butler 小周 was also very attentive and very helpful throughout our stay. Only 1 complain is that the hotel room is way too dim.

Oh, you have to hear about my recent stay at a hot spring hotel in Erhai, Dali! It offered the most breathtaking views and truly exceptional service I've ever encountered. The weather was simply divine during my visit, and waking up to that fantastic vista of the lake and mountains each morning was just so refreshing and peaceful for the soul. The manager was an absolute gem – so friendly and full of brilliant suggestions for activities and places to explore. He even thoughtfully arranged a sleeping guard for the kids' bed, just in case, which was such a kind gesture! I also really appreciated how, when I inquired about a gym with day access, he personally looked into it and got back to me that same afternoon. And that evening, when I was ready to go, he had the butler drive me right there! It was truly a fantastic experience for my entire family. I couldn't recommend this place more highly!

Upon arrival, we were greeted rather coldly with a somewhat unwelcoming attitude, though this may have been cultural difference or surprise at seeing non-Chinese visitors. Fortunately, another staff member arrived shortly after who spoke English and actually smiled at us, which improved the situation. Our bags were then taken upstairs. We were upgraded to a larger room for free, which was a nice gesture. The rooms are super spacious, clean, and nicely decorated with excellent storage capacity. The shower had good pressure and was spacious, which was great. One thing to note: there was something sticking out between the carpet and wooden floor at the entrance that I caught my foot on, causing it to bleed. Fortunately I'm vaccinated for tetanus, but it's something that needs fixing. The building and corridors look fancy with high ceilings, though some parts of the lobby and second floor don't match this standard. Service Issues: The housekeeping lady asked us irrelevant and pushy questions in a rather rough manner instead of listening to our queries. Some other staff including reception and kitchen staff were not reading our messages fully and responding too quickly, rushing instead of taking their time to actually listen to their customers. That said, many employees in the kitchen, reception, and porters are lovely and genuinely try their best to help. The gym is genuinely great - it looks like a modern city gym of good standard. However, guests don't put equipment back in their place, leaving it messy. There are massage chairs available on the floor, which is a nice touch. The hotel also has an Olympic swimming pool, though I didn't get a chance to try it. The included meals (all three meals a day) were of good quality and plentiful. However, I was surprised by the limited vegetarian options, especially considering this city is supposedly the tofu capital. Some guests had poor manners at the buffet, putting communal serving spoons close to their mouth and nose to sniff the food before the next person uses that same spoon. A general observation about visiting China: what they call ”aunties” (older female staff) can be unnecessarily rough and rude. Being older doesn't give anyone the right to be overconfident about their skills or treat guests poorly. This varies by province and hotel standard, but it was noticeable here. Noise was an issue - I wish both staff and other guests would be more considerate about volume levels in the corridors. I also wish there was a quiet lounge option separate from the lobby for those wanting a peaceful space. Major issue on departure: I requested the free drop-off service to the train station and made it very clear we needed to leave at 10:00am sharp. I received confirmation that this would be a private transfer. However, on the day, this simply wasn't true - it was a shared transfer with other guests who were very inconsiderate and arrived late. This kind of situation is extremely frustrating as it can disrupt your plans and create unnecessary stress. Positive note: The old town is not far by taxi and is much better than Lijiang - less of a tourist zoo with a better vibe. Overall, the spacious, clean upgraded room with good storage and shower, along with decent facilities, are appreciated. However, service consistency needs improvement, particularly around actually listening to customer requests. Additionally, the behavior of some other guests detracted from the experience.

Automatic free upgrade due to off season was nice. Spacious room with nice concessions. Service is generally great and helpful. Included breakfast is a treat for tired travelers not ready to explore. Airport/train pick up service is nice but don't rush into getting their reserve a car for a whole day deal. Lots of options. One has to figure out return to airport/train station on one's own but Didi and taxis are pretty easy to come by. Concierge can help purchase tickets to certain parks and at a fair price, which is convenient. Free washing machines where staff can help unload and use the tagged laundry basket to bring to room and hang for drying is a nice service if one doesn't have time or remember to pick up. Staff did seem to have limited knowledge about their own neighborhood like not knowing about the 24 hour eatery and mini super market right across the street.
