When we arrived at the hotel, we were amazed by the location,it was the nearest hotel right infront of the sea around that area. Although the building is quite old ,we loved the location.When we entered our hotel room for 3 persons,we were amazed how big the room was and it was on the 8th floor.We loved it!!! The room was huge,the glass window is huge ,you can see the beautiful sunrise while drinking tea and you can hear the waves. It was very relaxing,my husband and our friend were very happy.We paid a very reasonable price for that amazing stay. I just have one thing that I disliked, “the smoking room” It was very dirty,smelly and garbage everywhere. 😢 But,all in all I would recommend it to my friends specially to those looking for reasonable price stay . Such a spectacular place to stay! The owners are extremely friendly. They are there when you need (during check in, morning of check out) but leave a lot of privacy to the guests. The unit is very well appointed, with all amenities prepared. There's a separate study/office where you can work if needed. The den overlook the pond of the shrine 50m from the residence. There is a full kitchen which we definitely enjoyed making and having dinner and breakfast there. Would go back again.

Very good location, just a few minutes walk nearby Shizuoka Station and bus stop to attractive, like Nihondair, Shizuoka zoo, etc. The breakfast buffet is nice and yummy. The hotel room is very clean, and good amenities are provided. We have a pleasant stay for 3 nights.

I recently stayed at Hotel Clad during my trip to the Fuji area, and it was a wonderful experience. The location is truly unbeatable—perched on a hilltop with breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji, especially at sunrise and sunset. Waking up to that iconic silhouette was absolutely unforgettable. The hotel itself strikes a perfect balance between modern comfort and serene simplicity. My room was clean, well-appointed, and designed with a minimalist aesthetic that made it feel both calming and functional. The large windows made the most of the surrounding nature, and I appreciated the attention to detail in both the amenities and layout. One of the highlights was the onsen. It was such a treat to relax in the hot spring baths while gazing out at Mt. Fuji—an experience that felt both peaceful and luxurious. The onsen facilities were clean, well-maintained, and never overly crowded. The hotel is also conveniently connected to the Gotemba Premium Outlets, making it easy to enjoy a bit of shopping or grab a bite without venturing far. Despite this proximity, the hotel maintains a very tranquil atmosphere, which I really appreciated. Overall, Hotel Clad is a perfect base for anyone looking to explore the Fuji area in comfort. Whether you’re there to hike, shop, or simply take in the views, it delivers a serene, scenic, and satisfying stay.

Stayed here for a longer trip during an event at Fuji Speedway. Extremely helpful front desk staff, good breakfast (japanese style) and nice amenities throughout the hotel (Bathhouse, Yukata, microwave and laundry services all provided). Nearby a supermarket and close proximity to the bus station and other convenient locations. Would stay again without hesitation.

Close to the train station, although it has a bit of history. But the room is large, comfortable and hygienic. It is well-equipped, and the most outstanding thing is the large window in the room. The scenery is comparable to the sightseeing bay in a big city. You can see the entire Hamamatsu City in the distance. From sunrise to sunset, it is very gorgeous.

Beautiful place but a bit far from central location. Shimoda is a small quiet town and good for travellers who wants to relax and go on hiking around the area. This hotel is situated on a small hill slope and has a nice view of the sea. You can take their shuttle bus to train station to walk around their town central.

Dağ manzaralı, çift kişilik ve tek kişilik yataklı iki kişilik odada gece kaldım. Giriş saatinden erken geldiğim için öğle yemeğimi restoranda yedim. Fiyat uygundu ve pilav ile miso çorbasının tazelenmesine izin verildi. Öğle yemeğinde karışık kızartma ve Japon usulü hamburger yedim, ikisi de lezzetliydi. Konum, hava açıksa pencereden Fuji Dağı'nı görebileceğimi düşündürdü. Oda temizdi, yatak genişti ve gerçekten beğendim. Akşam gün batımında Fuji Dağı'nın yıkanması, gece Fuji Dağı'nın yıkanması ve sabah Fuji Dağı'nın keskin manzarası hepsi güzel ve unutulmaz anılardı. Fuji Dağı'nı görmek istersem tekrar gitmek isterim. Birinci kattaki kapalı hamam bir kaplıcaydı ve açık hava hamamı da çok keyifliydi.
