The 2 bedroom apartment was a really good size which fitted us 4 adults well. The place is clean and well maintained. Front desk staff are helpful and pleasant at all times. With the Laoximen Metro station Exit 1 right next to hotel, it gave us really great accessibility to all the places by the metro.

Its location is unbeatable: just a short walk to major attractions like Xintiandi, Huaihai Road, and the French Concession, yet tucked away from noisy boulevards, making it feel like a peaceful retreat. The executive studio was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean! I loved the well-equipped kitchenette (great for light meals) and the in-room washing machine, which made longer stays effortless. The AC was a lifesaver in Shanghai’s heat, and I appreciated the strict no-smoking policy (no lingering smells anywhere!🤩). What truly stood out was the thoughtful layout, smart storage, a comfortable workspace, and a nice bathroom. Housekeeping was consistent and thorough, and the staff were helpful without being intrusive. Final verdict? I’d happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a central yet serene home base in Shanghai. 10/10!

Had a fantastic stay at The Langham Shanghai Xintiandi. The location is unbeatable—steps from trendy shops, great dining, and historic Shikumen architecture. Service was warm and professional, and the room was both elegant and comfortable. The breakfast spread was excellent, with a mix of Western and Chinese options. Highly recommended for anyone looking for style and convenience in Shanghai.

Brilliant place to rest before my flight. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant offers a great menu. Good range of choices. Beautiful bar and surroundings. They are offering a free transit to the airport and take about 15 minutes. Will stay again in the future.

Hotel is very beautiful, the attention to details on the heritage renovation is quite amazing. Hotel staffs are all super friendly and helpful, they serve brewed coffee for free in the lobby, and pastries for breakfast. Toiletries in room is also high quality, free drinks and sodas including milk and beers are provided for guests, there’s even a Miele washer/dryer in the toilet with capsule detergent provided for guests to do their laundry. Only downside is there’s no gym in this facility, there’s no safe deposit box in the room too, bed mattress is slightly too hard (would be great if a fluff mattress topper is to be added). Walking distance to many restaurants and a park right opposite, level 6 is a roof top bar which is normally full house on Fridays and weekends.

The location is strategic for travelling to different attractions place. There’s a lot of shopping mall, convenient store and restaurants nearby. Of course, as mentioned by other guests, the room is not new but well maintained. The hotel staff are very friendly too.

Ascott Hengshan Shanghai is a great place to stay if you want both comfort and convenience. It’s set on the beautiful tree-lined Hengshan Road, with cafés and restaurants just a short walk away. The apartments are large, clean, and have everything you need to feel at home. The staff are friendly and always helpful, which makes the stay even better. The gym and pool are modern and well-kept, perfect for relaxing or working out. Whether for a short trip or a longer stay, Ascott Hengshan offers a relaxed and welcoming experience in one of Shanghai’s nicest neighborhoods.

I loved this place so much I’m already trying to go back! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms are nice and modern. Any issue we had was quickly resolved. The location while not being near any major attraction, is only like 2 stops away from all the major stops, so it’s SUPER convenient.
