That said, the overall feel of the hotel is a bit dated, and for the price, the in-room coffee facilities were quite disappointing. It’s an okay place to stay if you value location and cleanliness, but it doesn’t quite offer the extras you might expect at this price point."

"Located 1.8 kilometers from the bustling town of Banff, it's a bit remote and quiet, requiring driving for shopping and dining. Deer and other wildlife are found around the hotel. Maintenance wasn't provided daily. The sofa bed had worn springs, making it difficult to sleep. On my last night, I curled up on the couch. The room was large and relatively spacious, with kitchenware and tableware provided. The facilities were a bit dated, but the price was relatively affordable compared to other hotels, making it a good value."

"The Banff Hotel, which was booked one day in advance during the peak season, was better than expected. The room was larger than the marked area and very quiet. The bathroom was separated into wet and dry areas. The facilities were not new but not bad. The staff was very nice and did not clean the room by default. It is located on the east side of Banff Avenue, about 800 meters from the center. There is a gas station and highway not far outside. The underground parking lot is very convenient."

"I originally wanted to book a hotel in Lake Louise, about a 30-minute drive away, but I could only get two nights out of three there, so I ended up booking one night here. The location is quite convenient, just a few minutes walk from the main street, and parking is easy. However, the room facilities were really poor. The room was tiny, and the dark gray duvet made me wonder if it was clean or not. Foreigners don't use duvet covers; they just put a sheet between you and the duvet insert. I kept worrying about touching the duvet insert in my sleep. The pillows were square cushion inserts, uneven and lumpy, and I had no idea what was inside them. Sigh, and it cost over 3000! "

"The location was excellent, but the facilities were old and the staff were not particularly friendly. Since the building is made of wood, when you are in the room, you can clearly hear footsteps from people passing in the hallway, the creaking of suitcases, and the creaking of wood from the floor above. Additionally, because the window faces the hallway, it was inconvenient not being able to open the curtains even during the day. On the day we checked in, the room key malfunctioned, and contacting them was cumbersome because the information desk was located far away. It is not a hotel I would want to stay at again."

"A Good Nite's Rest is exactly what it's name says; a place to sleep in this extremely expensive town. Don't expect a traditional bed and breakfast, which is charming and inviting. This is not that. Our ground floor room with 2 queen beds was very basic. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable but that's about it. They didn't make any effort to make this place more inviting. There are no pictures on the walls, no hook or towel bar in the bathroom, just a small table and 2 old chairs to sit on. The breakfast is left for you on a tray in the fridge. The variety and quantity of food was very good but there were just a few flimsy plastic cutlery provided and I had to ask for some paper plates. There were no napkins or bowls. On the plus side, the location is great. Its located on a quiet residential street just a very short walk from the main street of Banff. There is free parking available, although its very tight. As long as you accept the fact that this is very basic accommodation at a somewhat affordable price you will be satisfied."
