Overall a nice trip, and a pretty fancy hotel for the price. I would consider it more like a 4**** hotel than a 5 star, personally. highlights: - beautiful lobby and view from our room of the mountains, beach, etc. - kind people at the desk and otherwise. very safe inside even though neighborhood is a bit sketchy at times. - great bed, windows, bathtub, etc.. - affordable as an american for level of service. - spa and rooftop restaurant are amazing. gym is great too! dealbreakers: (may stop me from booking next time) - wifi was basically broken the entire time in our room, and in the hotel at times. less than 10mbits, and no signal in most of our room. front desk said several times they'd fix but I don't think they have the ability to actually fix it. many other people had this issue as well. at a 5* hotel, this should not be happening. major issue, had to do meetings in the lobby to get it to function at all. - breakfast is *good* but definitely caters towards a local brazilian diet (very few options for vegans). as a vegetarian, I'll just say I ate a lot of eggs and cheese. but hey, that's brazil so not digging on the hotel too much on that. - elevator is incredibly busy, and there were times where it literally said ”not available” and we had to wait 5 minutes to actually use it. - there are *TONS* of families with kids in and around the pool when we went. so environment was quite loud and crazy most of the time. they do timeshares so I think mostly big families frequent the hotel. - we booked and paid extra for the *Junior Suite* (with a large living room as well as bath). the front desk gave us the *room with bath* which ended up being nice.. but is half the size, and refused to put us in the junior suite room, even after showing the reservation. this may be a Trip.com issue instead of the hotel.. but they didn't offer any compensation or flexibility for us. trip did refund us the difference in price though. overall, its a great deal for the price, and the architecture is amazing, the room is nice, good water pressure. horrible wifi and very few vegetarian options made it difficult to recommend again, but we liked our stay nonetheless.

HORÁRIO DO CAFÉ DA MANHÂ FIZEMOS UMA SUGESTÃO, POIS HORÁRIO DE 08:00 HS FICA TARDE, FALAMOS QUE O IDEAL SERIA PELO MENOS O INÍCIO ÀS 07 HORAS. AS TOALHAS NA CHEGADA ( SÓ TINHA UMA , TIVE DE PEGAR OUTRA E NÃO TINHA DE ROSTO, DERAAM DE BANHO NO LUGAR ) REGULARES, PRINCIPALMETE NA TROCA , COLOCARAM UMAS TOALHAS BEM RUINS, NÃO TINHA TAPETINHO DE BANHEIRO , TINHAMOS QUE PISAR NO CHÃO COM OS PÉS MOLHADOS. UM ABRAÇO!

I stayed four nights in a side sea-view room with a great view of Copacabana Beach and Sugarloaf Mountain. The location was excellent, housekeeping was done daily, and breakfast was satisfying. The downside was the outdated facilities, no refill of Nespresso capsules, noise from the beach, and an old, noisy air conditioner. Still, it was a safe and comfortable stay in Rio de Janeiro.

Não é a primeira vez que fico nesse hotel, dessa vez fiz minha reserva pela trip minha diária estava com a data errada. Por parte do hotel, gerência, recepção, chefe de cozinha… equipe geral. Toda a situação ficou amena e acolhida por eles, mais uma vez me senti perfeitamente acolhida com a hospitalidade deles. Vir em Búzios e não passar pelo Greco não faz muito sentido pra mim! Eu simplesmente n tenho palavras pra agradecer em relação a tudo deste hotel, vou embora com o coração feliz de saber que escolhi um lugar certo. (Para quem se incomoda com escadas, n vá) eu AMO, principalmente pelo ambiente ser no alto e rodeado de um jardim encantador!! Vale a pena cada centavo!! Meninos atendentes são um amor de pessoa, principalmente o atendente (recepcionista) Igor, que nos tratou muito bem e trabalha demais❤️ vcs n vao se arrepender 💖

O atendimento na piscina pelos garçons , em especial ao Danilo , merece uma salva de palmas. O cardápio tem preços justos dos tira gostos e pratos. Tudo muito delicioso. Nao deixem de provar o super recheado pastel de camarao e a carne de sol com aipim . Não gostamos do barulho do arcondicionado, e do atendimento do setor de reservas, pessoal ríspido nas respostas. The hotel is located in a prime area in Rio de Janeiro, very close to Ipanema Beach, within walking distance. From there, you can easily reach the main beaches and attractions. Reception, check-in and check-out are very easy. The rooms are clean, with comfortable beds, good quality shower amenities (shampoo, conditioner and soap), clean towels and sheets. There are amenities for purchase in the minibar (beer, chocolate, water and soft drinks). There was breakfast included (in my reservation) and there was good quality Brazilian style food, including cheese bread. The staff was very welcoming and polite. It is a very good hotel with a fair price.

Una genialidad todo! Molestamos bastante con la comida ya que solo consumimos kosher y nos aceptaron todas nuestros pedidos Marcelino de la parte de alimentos un genio!

1，里約熱內盧的治安沒有想象的那麼差，特別是這家酒店，這家酒店旁邊就是JW萬豪酒店，每天酒店附近都有警車停靠巡邏，酒店對面的海灘（科帕卡巴納海灘）感覺也安全，住了4晚，去了四次，晚上一次，早晨二次，中午一次。總結：科帕卡巴納海灘很長，個人感覺酒店對面的海灘很安全（出行需高度注意個人安全，這是我自己的感覺，如果遇上意外，本人不負責任何責任！） 2、酒店周圍及背後有好多吃飯的地方，消費人均也就20-200人民幣，感覺安全！（出行需高度注意個人安全，這是我自己的感覺，如果遇上意外，本人不負責任何責任！）酒店自己的餐廳（自行點餐）也不錯！早餐也不錯，水果，肉，奶酪，蔬菜，各種麪包蛋糕，各種飲品！（本人窮遊旅行，見識少認知淺薄，如果您看後對您造成影響，請勿怪罪，而且請您預訂更貴更高端的酒店） 3、酒店前台服務非常好，熱情，沒有刻意冷落中國人！都可以英文溝通，然後酒店門口應該是24小時（晚上22:00後沒有出門，反正21:30回來還有工作人員站着）有工作人員站崗，很安全！ 4、酒店房間，我覺很好！（本人窮遊旅行，見識少認知淺薄，如果您看後對您造成影響，請勿怪罪，而且請您預訂更貴更高端的酒店）。房間不算大，夠用！可以打開大號旅行箱，有陽台，有冰箱，保險櫃，電視也可以看！衞生間夠用，洗澡水大，而且燙，方便水温調節，空調也不對着人及床吹！ 5、總結：我不是什麼專業住酒店評價酒店的，酒店及攜程也沒有給我什麼好處，我就是憑着良心評價的，因為中國離巴西很遠，瞭解的人不多，所以我來之前看到一些不客觀的評價，弄的自己很害怕，但是我來了巴西覺得都還不錯，里約熱內盧的天氣有點像中國昆明，四季如春，（夏天沒有感受到，起碼冬天不冷）巴西本地人也熱情，消費也不算高，遠遠低於中國各種旅遊城市，比如世界新七七大奇蹟的救世大基督像。門票也不貴！治安方面，：因為我衹在巴西里約熱內盧6天，沒有約到什麼不好，去的都是景點，景點感覺治安都不錯，我相信，不要自己獨身去一些人少或者雜亂的地方，也不要太晚出去！應該都沒有事！（出行需高度注意個人安全，這是我自己的感覺，如果遇上意外，本人不負責任何責任！） 6、本人：vx：*********，需要到巴西里約熱內盧旅行的可以加了給您淺薄建議！最後説一點，我覺得巴西里約熱內盧可以自由行，人多一點更好，就是自己要千萬要注意安全，巴西里約熱內盧不是日本、新加坡和瑞士。自己要上心一點！（出行需高度注意個人安全，這是我自己的感覺，如果遇上意外，本人不負責任何責任！）

The room lacked basic amenities — no duvet or blanket, broken toilet, no hot water, and a phone that didn’t work. The WiFi and TV barely functioned, the ceiling was under construction, and the room had no view with a window that opened only a sliver. The door also locked itself and the key card stopped working. The hotel was overcrowded — there was no space to enjoy the pool, and breakfast was a letdown with no vegan options at all. Add to that loud construction noise for long periods and this stay felt more stressful than relaxing. Definitely not worth the price or the stars.
