Não é a primeira vez que fico nesse hotel, dessa vez fiz minha reserva pela trip minha diária estava com a data errada. Por parte do hotel, gerência, recepção, chefe de cozinha… equipe geral. Toda a situação ficou amena e acolhida por eles, mais uma vez me senti perfeitamente acolhida com a hospitalidade deles. Vir em Búzios e não passar pelo Greco não faz muito sentido pra mim! Ambiente, higiene, atendimento, equipe de bar, cozinha, gerência. O tenho que agradecer! Gerente : Erik Recepção : Guilherme e Luiz Chefe de cozinha : Luiz

I stayed four nights in a side sea-view room with a great view of Copacabana Beach and Sugarloaf Mountain. The location was excellent, housekeeping was done daily, and breakfast was satisfying. The downside was the outdated facilities, no refill of Nespresso capsules, noise from the beach, and an old, noisy air conditioner. Still, it was a safe and comfortable stay in Rio de Janeiro.

HORÁRIO DO CAFÉ DA MANHÂ FIZEMOS UMA SUGESTÃO, POIS HORÁRIO DE 08:00 HS FICA TARDE, FALAMOS QUE O IDEAL SERIA PELO MENOS O INÍCIO ÀS 07 HORAS. AS TOALHAS NA CHEGADA ( SÓ TINHA UMA , TIVE DE PEGAR OUTRA E NÃO TINHA DE ROSTO, DERAAM DE BANHO NO LUGAR ) REGULARES, PRINCIPALMETE NA TROCA , COLOCARAM UMAS TOALHAS BEM RUINS, NÃO TINHA TAPETINHO DE BANHEIRO , TINHAMOS QUE PISAR NO CHÃO COM OS PÉS MOLHADOS. UM ABRAÇO!

Overall a nice trip, and a pretty fancy hotel for the price. I would consider it more like a 4**** hotel than a 5 star, personally. highlights: - beautiful lobby and view from our room of the mountains, beach, etc. - kind people at the desk and otherwise. very safe inside even though neighborhood is a bit sketchy at times. - great bed, windows, bathtub, etc.. - affordable as an american for level of service. - spa and rooftop restaurant are amazing. gym is great too! dealbreakers: (may stop me from booking next time) - wifi was basically broken the entire time in our room, and in the hotel at times. less than 10mbits, and no signal in most of our room. front desk said several times they'd fix but I don't think they have the ability to actually fix it. many other people had this issue as well. at a 5* hotel, this should not be happening. major issue, had to do meetings in the lobby to get it to function at all. - breakfast is *good* but definitely caters towards a local brazilian diet (very few options for vegans). as a vegetarian, I'll just say I ate a lot of eggs and cheese. but hey, that's brazil so not digging on the hotel too much on that. - elevator is incredibly busy, and there were times where it literally said ”not available” and we had to wait 5 minutes to actually use it. - there are *TONS* of families with kids in and around the pool when we went. so environment was quite loud and crazy most of the time. they do timeshares so I think mostly big families frequent the hotel. - we booked and paid extra for the *Junior Suite* (with a large living room as well as bath). the front desk gave us the *room with bath* which ended up being nice.. but is half the size, and refused to put us in the junior suite room, even after showing the reservation. this may be a Trip.com issue instead of the hotel.. but they didn't offer any compensation or flexibility for us. trip did refund us the difference in price though. overall, its a great deal for the price, and the architecture is amazing, the room is nice, good water pressure. horrible wifi and very few vegetarian options made it difficult to recommend again, but we liked our stay nonetheless.

The room lacked basic amenities — no duvet or blanket, broken toilet, no hot water, and a phone that didn’t work. The WiFi and TV barely functioned, the ceiling was under construction, and the room had no view with a window that opened only a sliver. The door also locked itself and the key card stopped working. The hotel was overcrowded — there was no space to enjoy the pool, and breakfast was a letdown with no vegan options at all. Add to that loud construction noise for long periods and this stay felt more stressful than relaxing. Definitely not worth the price or the stars.

Eu simplesmente n tenho palavras pra agradecer em relação a tudo deste hotel, vou embora com o coração feliz de saber que escolhi um lugar certo. (Para quem se incomoda com escadas, n vá) eu AMO, principalmente pelo ambiente ser no alto e rodeado de um jardim encantador!! Vale a pena cada centavo!! Meninos atendentes são um amor de pessoa, principalmente o atendente (recepcionista) Igor, que nos tratou muito bem e trabalha demais❤️ vcs n vao se arrepender 💖

Great hotel with a great location - besides being on Copacabana, Ipanema is also within walking distance. The room was very clean, and you also have great French cosmetics Lóccitane for hair and body. I have no words to describe the great breakfast, which was very rich! I am very happy with my 5-day stay here and would come back again.Free chairs and umbrella on the beach.Amazing view from the bar and rooftop pool.Most delisious coffe I've had her in Rio.

O atendimento na piscina pelos garçons , em especial ao Danilo , merece uma salva de palmas. O cardápio tem preços justos dos tira gostos e pratos. Tudo muito delicioso. Nao deixem de provar o super recheado pastel de camarao e a carne de sol com aipim . Não gostamos do barulho do arcondicionado, e do atendimento do setor de reservas, pessoal ríspido nas respostas. Piscina excelente. Localizaçao nota 1000

This was my fifth time at this hotel . Both my husband and I always enjoy staying here ! The best - as good as the amazing views of the beach - are the staff .  It is incredible that most servers , check in people , luggage bellmen remember us ! They are all so kind , efficient and friendly that they make us feel part of their family !  Can’t find words to describe how much we enjoy staying at the PortoBay , Copacabana !

Um excelente hotel, recomendo de olho fechado. Ótimo atendimento, quarto maravilhoso, café da manhã maravilhoso também. Tudo perfeito.
