Not a bad hotel to stay in. There is a complimentary drink for each guest per stay in the hotel. The concept is towards minimalist, comfortable beds and fairly sound proof. The twin room is consider hire spacious. There is a sauna and onsen (male/female switched in alternate days), but we didn’t utilise. The toilet Is a bit dark and wash basin is situated outside. Check in is at 17:00hrs and check out is before 14:00hrs. It’s good for guests who are catching a later flight. Staff are wonderful and very helpful.

Excellent place to stay. Free public bath spa in the hotel. Plus: PJs and extra toiletries like makeup remover, cotton pads provided. Lunch: Good lunch buffet with homemade tofu. Value for money. Laundry: Coin machine at 400 yen a cycle. Good value. Venue: Walking distance to huge local supermarket, pharmacy and a nearby neighbourhood mall, BIV. Near the world heritage Nijio Castle. Bus stop just outside. Feels safe in coming back late as the hotel is just next to the main road.

Urban Hotel Kyoto Shijo Premium'da 1 gece konakladık. Otelin konumu Gion bölgesine ve Nishiki pazarına otobüsle ulaşıma yakındı. Otelin dışında Kyoto istasyonuna giden otobüslere binebileceğiniz bir durak var. Oda temizdi ama beklediğimiz gibi çok küçüktü. Queen yataklı bir odada kaldık ve yatak rahattı. Oda sessizdi ve banyo temizdi. Otelde ücretsiz kullanılabilen bir hamam var, ancak biz kullanamadık.

Amazing experience. Some traditional japanese vibes mixed with westernized traits. It was our first time visiting a hotel with any resemblance to a traditional japanese hotel - this was a great entry point into this kind of experience. As is traditional, you are required to leave your shoes in the footlockers by the entrance. You walk around the hotel in socks / barefoot. In some spaces wooden shoes are provided (example: public toilet on the first floor, toilet in the hotel room), everywhere else is socks-only. The design is very traditionally looking, pleasing to the eyes. Breakfast offers a combination of japanese and western dishes in a buffet style - so if you want to try some traditional japanese food, but are afraid you won’t like it - you will still have plenty of options (I will add a photo as an example - in reality the list of options is much bigger both in both japanese and western cuisines). Onsen is great, works a long time (3pm-10am). We went there in the morning / day / evening — all times it was not too crowded, sometimes there were only a couple other people in there. The onsen are separate for men and women, so there is no need to check against any timetable (men hours / women hours, how some other hotels do it) - you can go any time when onsen is open. Location is great too — multiple subway stations are close, Kyoto Tower is in about 10 minutes of walking. Many restaurants nearby.

Hareketli şehrin sakin bir sokağında bulunan bu otele ikinci ziyaretim. Oda Japonya'da büyük sayılır, çok temiz ve konforlu. Birinci katta kaplıca banyosu yapabilirsiniz. Kahvaltı da çok iyi. Bir eksikliğini belirtmem gerekirse, tek tek paketlenmiş cilt bakım ürünleri yok çünkü Japonya'da bir otelde kaldığımda cilt bakım ürünleri getirmemeye alışkınım. Kyoto'daki bu otel beklentilerimi aştı. Mükemmel konumu sayesinde her yere kolayca ulaşılabiliyor ve hizmet mükemmel. Fiyatı makul ve odalar çok güzel. Ayrıca ücretsiz onsen (kaplıca) ve özel kaplıca (rezervasyonlu) sunuyorlar. İki gün boyunca odamdaki banyoyu kullanmadım, bunun yerine ücretsiz onsen'i kullandım. Genel olarak, şiddetle tavsiye ederim. Kapının dışında sağa dönün ve lezzetli okonomiyaki bulacaksınız. Kesinlikle tavsiye ederim.

Halka açık onsen odaları harikaydı ve küçük olsalar da özel olanlar bile kendilerine özgü bir çekiciliğe sahipti. This hotel in Kyoto’s Higashiyama district blends Japanese charm with modern luxury. My room was spacious, clean, and comfy, with a great bed and soaking tub. The staff were friendly and helpful, arranging my private onsen and offering a free shuttle to Kyoto Station (20 minutes away). It’s near Higashiyama Station and Gion, yet peaceful. Breakfast was delicious—Japanese and Western options—and the tea-themed onsen was a highlight. The gym’s solid, but I loved the garden more. It’s not central, but the shuttle compensates. Parking’s 2,000 yen/night. A luxurious, authentic gem—9/10, I’d stay again!

A very satisfactory choice. Travel with parents and stayed four nights and royal park. Located near to subway kalasuma station, a good choice to explore Kyoto. Room is spacious compared to most of hotels in Kyoto, also is clean and quiet. Impressed by the breakfast where you can choose set menu between Japanese and American styles. Delicate dishes. It has a lounge where you can enjoy afternoon teas and happy hour. The public bath is a must go-to place after a long way during the day.
