Exit from train station, turn right, walk out of the exit and you will see the entrance of the hotel on the right of the building at AMU. Lobby at level 8 while room from 9 onwards. Level 19 is the free onsen for guests. Breakfast was good local and western style. The washer and dryer not as good I think as after wash my clothing got a smell. Managed to rewash some at Kagoshima. Overall very convenient hotel as we used their trains to travel to Peppu to visit hells and Yokosuka to visit Harmonyland

We had a pleasant stay at Amanek Beppu. The lobby is bright and welcoming, giving a great first impression. The hotel provides free bottles of water, which was a nice touch and very convenient during my stay. Our room was comfortable and well-kept, making it easy to relax after a long day. Parking is available nearby for a reasonable fee, so it was convenient even for those traveling by car. Overall, Amanek Beppu offers comfort, convenience, and good value. We would happily stay here again.

We recently stayed at this hotel, and the experience was mixed — there are some nice touches, but also noticeable shortcomings. **Room:** The room was spacious but clearly outdated; furniture and interior look worn. The ventilation works, yet it still feels quite stuffy inside. It would be great if the hotel improved air-conditioning or installed mosquito screens: the sea view is beautiful, but opening the window isn’t an option because of too many insects. **Facilities & Service:** The only real extras are massage service and a shared onsen. There’s no gym, pool, or other activities — the hotel is designed for quiet relaxation. A shuttle service is available, which is convenient, but if you miss it, getting to the hotel on your own can be quite difficult. During this stay the hotel was quite busy, and it often took a long time to catch the elevator to our floor. **Dining:** Breakfast and dinner can be pre-booked; the food was tasty and varied. The bar offers a pleasant atmosphere with a decent drink selection, and in the evening the lobby lounge opens with alcoholic drinks and light snacks — a nice way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. **Location:** The property faces Beppu Bay, yet the seaside feeling is limited — there are few walking areas nearby, and due to insects it’s hard to enjoy the open air. **Overall:** A good option for a calm, onsen-style getaway with decent food and polite staff, but when the hotel is crowded, the lack of facilities and outdated rooms become more noticeable. With some modernization and better infrastructure, this could be an excellent resort.

Quiet, Very clean and well located in Beppu, 1min from the sea side and 3 min from all the busses! Everything was so easy and people were very nice. Also there is a kitchen if you wanna cook

I recently stayed at a hotel booked through Trip.com, and while the location, cleanliness, and facilities were quite nice, I had a very disappointing experience with the service provided by the hotel staff. When I booked the hotel, the description on Trip.com (in Korean) clearly indicated that the room would have two beds and two floor beds. However, upon arrival, we found that the room only had two beds and one floor bed. When I brought this discrepancy to the attention of the hotel staff, they informed me that we would need to pay extra for an additional floor bed. They explained that the description in the itinerary merely indicated the maximum capacity of the room and that, since we had booked meals for only three people (breakfast and dinner), we could not receive an extra floor bed at no charge. I opted for the three-person meal plan because one of my family members is a five-year-old child who does not eat much, and I wanted to avoid unnecessary food waste. I understand that interpretations of the itinerary may vary, but the attitude of the hotel staff was unacceptable. During my communication with them, I was put on hold for five minutes, only to be told that there was nothing they could do. After urging them to adhere to the terms of the itinerary, I was placed on hold again for ten minutes. Unfortunately, I had to hang up as it was time for dinner, and the hotel did not follow up with any response after I returned. This experience significantly affected my family's mood, and what was supposed to be a pleasant stay turned into a frustrating ordeal. I hope that Trip.com can address this issue to prevent future guests from having similar experiences.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Great location and cosy hotel. Hot bath is nice, there's an outdoor and indoor pool. Love the free soba offered at night, is delicious. The room size is decent. Nice cafe and restaurants nearby.

I’m glad that we chose Amane Gahama for our family vacation because it’s spacious and the private hot spring was awesome with both in and out door options. It’s a little inconvenient that breakfast was located in the sister hotel next door, but the hotel had arranged buggy for transport which the kids are happy about it.

good value for money! would definitely stay again location: it's relatively further from the station , around a 8-10min walk. there is a 7-11 just around the corner room: my room came without a bathroom but for the ladies are 3 cubicles shared among the 7 mix gendered guests on the floor. i did not have to wait in line at all. there was more than enough space in the room to open my suitcase wide and still feel comfortable. bed and pillow was a bit hard though, and you can hear anyone talking loudly downstairs outside the building as the room is on 2nd floor, tho that doesnt happen very often. food: amazing balanced breakfast that changes everyday - really delicious! onsen: the one on 2F was smaller than 1F, but very good and comfortable. clean too. you can book a private onsen room for 500yen (50mins) staff: all of them were super friendly, helpful and made me feel welcome. there are english-proficient staff available 24H as well :)

두번째 방문한 호텔. 시설은 그냥 조금 오래된 깔끔한 료칸호텔. 대욕장은 조그만한 거 1개, 다른 건물에 좀 큰거 1개(여기는 숙박객만이 아닌 외부 현지인들도 목욕하러 오는 곳, 숙박객은 무료) 노천탕도 있어요~~ 근데 조식과 석식이 부페식인데 음식 종류도 많고 질이 너무너무 좋아요. 그래서 부페때문에 다시 간 호텔이에요.
