Located close to the train station and about a 20 min walk from the ferry port, where i had come from. Helpful staff. 8 different restaurants to choose from for dinner and breakfast the next day was good, ample choice, and reasonably priced. Will be using Joost Hotel again on my next visit to la Harve. Maybe next time I will be braver and book a dorm to meet some other people. Wasn't sure about the shower in the main room, but as it was just me, it was fine.

Het is een prima hotel nette kamer schoon fris ,alleen beetje ingewikkeld hoe je de sleutel van de kamer krijgt als je niet een dag van te voren boekte,na een telefonisch gesprek met de receptie werd het duidelijker verder liet het prima, maar houd er dus rekening mee

Das Frühstück war schlimm. Sollte um 8 Uhr sein die Frau kam erst um 8.10 Uhr dann erst alles herrichten. Bis sie fertig war musste ich gehen. Für Leute die Angst vor Fahrstühlen haben lieber zu Fuß gehen. Der klappert und wackelt wie verrückt.

J'ai réglé 472 euros au site et l'hôtel m'a déduit 410 euros donc j'ai réglé 60 euros de commission.cela est la Première fois que cela m'arrive d'habitude la commission est réglée par l'hôtel.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, about 10 mins walk from the train station and walking distance to a lot of restaurants.
The staffs were all so friendly and helpful! There’s a day I was back to hotel from Mont Saint Michel and it was late and all the restaurants were closed. I was hungry and cold and ask for foods from hotel, though kitchen was closed they still managed to whip up with ham ,cheese and baguettes. It makes me feel like home!
Also, do try the dinner at the restaurant it was good!
I just want to thank all the staffs for the hospitality and wish you guys Merry Christmas!

Bon emplacement.
Il faut noter qu'il n'y a pas assez de meubles dans le dortoir, surtout pour la personne qui devrait dormir sur le lit superposé, même pas d'endroit pour poser les affaires, pas pratique du tout !
Après la fuite de la douche, la dame de l'accueil avait la gentillesse de me changer de chambre, ce qui a sauvé mon sommeil.

Ondanks de behoorlijke omvang verstopt tussen andere gebouwen en daardoor zeer lastig te vinden ondanks het navigatiesysteem. Ook geen uitnodigende entree voor de auto. Vriendelijke ontvangst, maar weinig mededeelzaam uit zichzelf. Bijvoorbeeld waar zich de ruimte voor het ontbijt bevindt en hoe het zit met de WIFI. De kamer was netjes, schoon en functioneel, maar de spoelfunctie van de wc was krachteloos en onbruikbaar. Het ontbijt was naar verwachting in dit soort hotels en ruim voldoende. Het hotel is hond vriendelijk, maar er is in de directe omgeving nauwelijks gelegenheid om de hond uit te laten, maar dat zal wel gewoon zijn in de stad. Het raam op de kamer kan niet open, maar er is wel een instelbare klimaatregeling. Door het gesloten raam is het geluid van buiten geneutraliseerd, dus rustig. Kost wel wat extra tijd om weer bij de snelweg te komen, maar dat is logisch.

Notre séjour c'est très bien passé. Nous avions une chambre au soleil ce qui n est pas négligeable en Normandie. Les repas était bien servis. Les serveurs très efficaces malgré ce gros week end.

MMisafir KullanıcıHere's a unique hotel - housed in a old mansion from the 1900s. This means that each room in the original wing is a little different and 'eclectic'. There's also a new wing with newer rooms, a spa, a swimming pool (sorta heated), a bistro and a 1 Michelin star restaurant.
Pros:
- Unique style of hotel that's set away from the hustle/bustle of the Etritat town.
- Helpful staff
- Complimentary bakes and hot drinks from 4-6pm
- Michelin-star restaurant on site (but it was closed during our visit)
- Comfortable beds, good water pressure and a bathtub
- Professional grade Nespresso machine in-room with 4 pods (2x decaf) + nice tea bags
- Grounds are cute, with a resident cat, fireplace and pleasant garden-ish spaces.
Cons:
- Cleanliness - we discovered a swarm of ants crawling behind the curtain. We think it was some food that wasn't cleaned away from the previous guest that attracted the ants. This was gross.
- Room styling may not be to everyone's tastes - suggest you ask to view a room before you move your luggage in.
- Narrow stairs to rooms in main building, was abit hard to get luggage up to but they can get help if needed.
- Location could be a con for some as it's a good 10-12 min walk into the main down down a high.
- Parking spaces were limited.
- Breakfast is pricey at 25 euro - there's a great boulangerie in town Maison Piquenot that you can get good croissants, baguettes from.
- Overall abit pricey for the value you get.

MMisafir KullanıcıWe booked this hotel because it was in a château and it looked romantic and unique .However there were many details lacking overall. Firstly avoid the restaurant at all costs even though the three course meal was only €29. The food preparation and quality was terrible. Please see attached photos. The salmon I had was overcooked from frozen salmon and the greens were likely frozen greens that were boiled to mush and no longer green. The risotto was just rice coated in some weird cream and had some tasteless pieces of chicken slapped on top. We did not finish the food.
They clearly also need more staff as our receptionist was doubling up as a waitress, and we noticed that there were some waits and gaps in service.
The room was compact and clean, but the details were lacking. For example, the fixtures and appliances were the cheapest variety possible and didn’t match the Luxe feel that the hotel is going for. The location is slightly out of town and a 20 minute walk to all the main sites in the old town.
The grounds were tidy and very pretty in photos.

MMisafir KullanıcıIf you want to experience La vraie vie de chateau (a real life a a castle owner) this is your choice. Only 5 rooms available, very private, feels like you are in your own chateau… fabulous park and setting around the main building, was told there are other separate “mini” houses in the park , and you can go watch the horses…. And admire the view on the valley.
Our room: we booked the round bedroom … the center bedroom on the 1st floor…. Fabulous place, need a bit of upgrade in the bathroom… if anything… but seriously felt like a châtelain… as we reached early, we were welcomed by one of the sons of the owners who took us around the private wing, “his house”, and told us everything about the mansion history as well as hotel business. A great interaction with a friendly castle owner and businessman. They also have a snooker, a gym and sauna…. I mean… what else do you want!!!
We had to go out for dinner (at L’Hermitage) which the owner booked for us.
Breakfastwas served in the salons…. Stylish French dépit déjeuner, served by a dynamic, friendly and frank lady.
Just go. Dont hesitate.

Nice welcome at reception when we checked in earlier than planned. We got touristic advice to go around and they kept our big suitcases. We unfortunately didn’t get parking as they were full.. all reserved (NB: trip.com never discussed that we had to book the parking, this is something Accor and Trip.com should discuss about as this is now our 2nd encounter of this problem…. Coming from Malaysia and renting a car, this is not helping… we had no idea we had to reserve parking)
The bedroom was very nice, pretty balcony but small bathroom… especially given the placement of the toilet…. lol. But never mind. Nice deck of the bedroom and the hotel too… themed on Christian Dior and fashion, we liked that ☺️
Last the breakfast and its location: beautiful. The view of the sea is really good, the furniture is nicely chosen, and the food is good. First time I see a « make your sunny side up eggs yourself » set in a hotel, which was cool.

It was a good location to drive to Omaha Beach and the surrounding area. We each had a room with a king size bed, a very large bathroom with a wonderful shower and separate large tub. Free Coffee, tea and water provided in the room and a small refrigerator with snacks and drinks available at a modest price. Beds were very comfortable and room temp was great. Very quiet location and free parking. The best thing was Julia, the front desk staff person. Extraordinary service and assistance with everything we needed including ordering Thai food from a local restaurant because the restaurant was closed on Sunday night and Monday night, the two nights we were there. She deserves a GIANT Thank You and a Gold Star! I would definitely stay there again if I ever return to France.

KKungyI booked two rooms. One room was successfully charged to my credit card, but the other was not. I contacted the hotel to explain that I was only about three hours away and asked them to hold the room so I could pay upon arrival. Unfortunately, my request was refused and one room was canceled. I then had to make a new reservation directly through the hotel’s website, which was quite disappointing.
The rooms were not soundproof at all. There is no elevator, and when I asked for assistance, the reception declined immediately without offering any help. Parking is also very limited and requires an additional fee.
