They had a booklet with English for us, and as it was our first onsen experience, they patiently explained everything we needed to know and answered our questions. The outdoor onsen was beautiful and so peaceful. Food was also delicious and our one night stay was very enjoyable and the amount we paid is definitely worth it. Highly recommend :)"

This hotel is massive. Its comprises of 3 buildings and each building has its own public bath. And one of them has outdoor bath. The room I booked has balcony but it was too chilly to sit outside. Gym and swimming pool are also available but for ¥1,000 fee. Dinner was not impressive but the hotel provided 2 different foods on each dinner during my 2-day stay. Breakfast spread was good but it is buffet style and it was busy and chaotic. The best thing about this location it is very close to Gero station yet the hotel has pick ip and drop off service for every train schedules.

The quality of the hotel is very high. It's conveniently located near the train station and a 15 minute walk to the old town. The spa is really nice, clean, and spacious. The family spa is a nice touch. Rooms are very large, comfortable beds, with a tub. The only drawback is breakfast. The restaurant is too small to accommodate guests. It's odd that it's common in Japan to have large hotels, with many guests, include breakfast, and then build a tiny restaurant. Makes no sense. Options are limited and food is the same every day. I wouldn't recommend it, but there's so few options nearby or in the town in general, that you basically have to eat there. Just go before 8 AM. Otherwise, the hotel is really nice.

The outdoor onsen was beautiful and so peaceful. Food was also delicious and our one night stay was very enjoyable and the amount we paid is definitely worth it. Highly recommend :)

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The highlight was having a private onsen in the room, which made the experience feel very relaxing and special. The breakfast offered a good variety of options and the food was tasty. The public bath house was clean, well maintained, and never felt crowded. There were a few drawbacks. The TV had very limited international channels, the HDMI outlet could not be used, and we were unable to cast from our own devices to the screen. Despite these inconveniences, my overall stay was very pleasant and I would consider returning.
