A great hotel in a great location. From the station to the hotel we just hopped on a no.1 tram which stopped just round the corner from the hotel and only cost 240Y per person. We quickly found the check in on the 14th floor. We were warmly welcomed and given tokens to buy a drink, so gin & tonic & beer on the rooftop it was. Lovely! Our room was a reasonable size, although no shelves for clothing, but did have a seated area so you could sit comfortably. The food here was fabulous for breakfast and dinner - More Than on the ground level. The staff there were excellent. Nice to be able to choose to eat outside watching the world go by. Check out was simple, just drop your key in a box in the lift. Highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic room with amazing and brand new decoration. Hotel was opened in July of 2022 and the facilities are just amazing, and in excellent conditions. The staff is extremely professional , very attentive , communicating in English. The location is very privileged, just above the Onomichi train station. Breakfast is a state of art , with the food coming in a bento in a perfect portion. There are capsule coffee in the room . Onsen is extra 2500 yen for one hour . The hotel is just one of the best surprises in my trip and fully worth staying a day or two there. If you want to ride to shimanami kaido this hotel is perfect location.

Hotel is quite old and there are other organizations in the same building. There was a notice in the hotel room notifying that there were burglaries so guests should ensure their doors are properly closed. That said, they use a key for the door lock and the card is just for electricity. The hotel room has a water dispenser which is great but it becomes a little too bright at night. Amenities in the toilet had toothpaste so I didn’t use them. Lots of vending machines in the lobby.

Great experience here. The hotel is right next to a lot of Hiroshima'd major attractions, and the rooms have an incredible view of the city and beyond. Good restaurants with friendly service. Highly recommended.

Even though it was winter time, the dorm was fully air conditioned all the time which made the staying experience relaxing and worry-free especially at night time. I had good sleep every night. Convenience stores were in walking distance. Best place in the area I would say.

Love the wide spread breakfast buffet but the food was a bit cold though. Great location and conveniently located so that transportation around Hiroshima was so easy. Hotel receptionists were friendly and can converse in English. The hotel is situated with a couple of department stores nearby. The Hiroshima pass was very useful as we could redeem vouchers to buy things in the department stores nearby..

Location is perfect. 2 minute walk from JR station through footbridge. Located in between the ferry and bike rental. Got a free upgrade to double room with water front view. Found some free fruit jelly and snacks in the fridge. Breakfast is mediocre. Salmon quickly ran out and never got refilled. Good choice for bike ride trip.

The service was top class, very helpful at reception and very friendly. The gym was amazing, hotel users can use the Anytime Fitness gym for free and it was a proper gym, not just a typical hotel gym so that was really good. Breakfast was great and there was a freshly cooked steak section which was cool. Just across the bridge was the peace park, and then just round the corner was Hondori shopping street and loads of izakayas in the back street. Only downside is we booked a compact twin room and on reflection we should have upgraded because it was just too cramped even with just two people. But movement space and luggage space just wasn’t enough.

Stayed two nights at Onomichi Kokusai to do the Shiminami Kaido cycling route and really enjoyed my stay. The shuttle bus is a good perk (shoutout to Toshi the afternoon driver who was the best and so genuinely fun to chat with and helpful. Give him a raise!) but otherwise it’s a 20 min walk to the center of town where the station is. If you come in earlier in the day before check in time, keep in mind that there will not be shuttle buses running available. And when you do want to take a shuttle bus, you have to book via a site 15 mins prior to departure time which is exactly on time. There’s also shuttle service to the public baths which I made use of and it’s cheaper than buying the voucher from the hotel than from the onsen directly. No complaints about cleanliness and the room suites my needs. I’d definitely stay again if I do the cycling route again!

The hotel is very near to the airport. Very convenient. Service is good.
