Mecure, time to lift your game! It’s summer in Japan and the swimming pool is empty & closed.?? Surrounding landscaped areas not well maintained. Rooms & corridors delight you with a musty aged smell that takes time getting used to. Positives: View of surrounding coastline excellent, sunrise beautiful. Room’s good size. Buffet Breakfast decent with options Afternoon & Evening free snacks & drinks a bonus. Negs: Customer service adequate but can’t say a lot of enthusiasm. Room & corridor’s musty The place needs renovation Need car for access hotel. No pool operating in summer???

We are self driving from JR Wakayama to Shirahama about 2 hours, nice place and good location because can see the sunshine with nice beach view. The onsen is super nice view face to the beach/sea and peaceful. Hotel breakfast is very delicious with traditional Japan and Western style , there is alot of choice too. The staff is helpful to carry on our bag and luggage. The hotel reception have a convenient shop for us to buy the souvenir. I will be back again, thank you!

先説個人結論：值得推薦！ 1️⃣位置優越，下了JR站步行200米即到。JR站出來就是公交車站，去熊野古道等也非常方便。 2️⃣房間在日本屬於比較大的，日本酒店都非常乾淨整潔。接待的阿姨非常熱情。 3️⃣提醒大家預訂時一定選好是幾個人入住，1個人就選1個，2人就必須選2個，以此類推。（和國內不同）。我預訂時忘了修改訊息，選了我一人，結果我和先生到店要補一個人的費用、還不低。 4️⃣距離海鮮市場也200米，週二休市錯過金槍魚秀。不過酒店辦理登記時會給到一份美食推薦表，海鮮等都非常新鮮。作為日本最好的金槍魚漁港，可以大快朵頤。還有一家叫什麼庵的老店，裏面的點心和銅鑼燒，是我常駐日本吃過最好的，強烈推薦！

We absolutely cannot contain our elation when recalling our recent stay at this remarkable hotel. From the moment we stepped into the elevator adorned with personalized name cards, my husband and I were enveloped in the warm embrace of hospitality. The attention to detail and the genuine kindness of the staff made us feel like VIP guests. They also thoughtfully provided a bucket for us to indulge in the glowing enchantment of firecrackers and even tidied the mess up afterwards. But the best memory of our stay here was definitely the culinary experience given by the chef extraordinaire — Master Chef Matsuki. His creations were nothing short of a gastronomic revelation. Each dish was a testament to his unwavering dedication and profound respect for the ingredients. Oh, the flavors — titillating all our taste buds in every bite. And the generosity of Chef Matsuki in sharing his culinary wisdom, guiding us on how to savor each morsel, elevated the entire dining experience to sheer perfection. The language barrier was no obstacle to the remarkable team of staff members who graced us with their presence. Their command of the English language was commendable, and even those who were not entirely fluent went above and beyond to cater to our every whim and need. Their genuine desire to assist us was palpable, leaving us feeling truly valued and cared for. I am already making plans to return with my beloved family, as I know they too deserve to bask in the unparalleled warmth and luxury that this establishment exudes. This hotel has set the bar impossibly high, redefining the meaning of hospitality and creating memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. So if you seek a hotel experience that transcends mere accommodation and transforms into a symphony of opulence, impeccable service, and culinary artistry, then look no further. I stay 2 night here. Service is excellence as always. Do check in before heading to Port and ask where is the place. Got lounge and timing for ship to bring you to the hotel. There is also shuttle bus bring u to train or bus station from the port so do request for it

Grateful for the nice and helpful lady at the reception. Facilities are great (Onsen of course), a decent room to stay in and they even offer you amenities to enjoy tea there. Also, thankful to the hotel that offered me a ride to the train station so that I don't have to worry about getting on a bus with my heavy luggage. Thank you for such a pleasant hotel experience you have offered me, hotel staff team!

The highlight of this hotel will be the seaview onsen. It’s huge with 3 floors. Service is very welcoming. The lobby, lounge area and restaurant are all very bright, modern and stylish. The rooms are however like entering a different world from 30 years ago, which definitely needs a major lift. The stains on the brown colored carpet are very eye catching. The beds are comfortable. We tried both the breakfast and dinner buffet, I suggest you may try to eat outside unless you really want to stay in the hotel for the rest of the day.

Fantastic value for what you get. Although you’re room is in a building next to the main hotel you can use all of the facilities which include hot springs, the swimming pool and sauna. It’s also close enough to the beach to walk and there’s a bus stop right outside.

The best resort I stayed in Japan, spacial thank you to the stuff at the front desk who had been super kind and helpful. The hot spring which overlooks the ocean is stunning, highly recommended!

由於將紀伊田邊作為熊野古道的出入口，所以選擇在田邊站酒店隔日入住兩次，因此酒店會貼心的給我們免費保存大件行李，這樣我們就可攜帶最少的行李在入住川湯温泉酒店前後，可以輕便的遊玩，推薦大家選擇這種方式。
