Rooms & corridors delight you with a musty aged smell that takes time getting used to. Positives: View of surrounding coastline excellent, sunrise beautiful. Room’s good size. Buffet Breakfast decent with options Afternoon & Evening free snacks & drinks a bonus. Negs: Customer service adequate but can’t say a lot of enthusiasm. Room & corridor’s musty The place needs renovation Need car for access hotel. No pool operating in summer???

Overall, my stay was pleasant, but as a Marriott property, I had slightly higher expectations. The lobby felt a bit too simple compared to what I anticipated, and I found communication at the reception a little challenging as the staff’s English could be improved—especially since many international guests stay here. On the positive side, I really appreciated having a pool despite the hotel being so close to the beach. That said, I was surprised to find quite a bit of sand at the bottom of the pool, which affected the experience. Other facilities were excellent: I especially enjoyed the hot spring and the souvenir shop. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel to others.

沒有電梯，重的行李有點小吃力，房間不小，行李箱隨便開，但進去一股中草葯味，不知道為啥hhh，主人老奶奶很和藹，特意準備了有中文提示的字條，還會推薦美食店。不知道為什麼感覺市場都沒幾家開門的。位置真的很方便，離車站幾百米，另一頭就是漁港。我們下一站是鳥羽，訂了潮路亭，所以這裏就沒訂浦島酒店，省一點。這個城市真的很小，如果是為了去熊野古道，這裏綽綽有餘。如果這裡是終點站，要掉頭回大阪的話，訂浦島也可以，就是趕行程沒這麼方便。還有一點很好的就是這裏洗衣烘乾免費，雖然一個洗衣機不是很好用，烘乾也不是很足，但是衞浴很驚喜，有乾燥系統，可以好好利用。離店全自助，寄存行李自己鎖。附近車站有間特產店，可以買那智黑黑糖，還有黑糖冰淇淋，還可以付費寄存行李。

They also thoughtfully provided a bucket for us to indulge in the glowing enchantment of firecrackers and even tidied the mess up afterwards. But the best memory of our stay here was definitely the culinary experience given by the chef extraordinaire — Master Chef Matsuki. His creations were nothing short of a gastronomic revelation. Each dish was a testament to his unwavering dedication and profound respect for the ingredients. Oh, the flavors — titillating all our taste buds in every bite. And the generosity of Chef Matsuki in sharing his culinary wisdom, guiding us on how to savor each morsel, elevated the entire dining experience to sheer perfection. The language barrier was no obstacle to the remarkable team of staff members who graced us with their presence. Their command of the English language was commendable, and even those who were not entirely fluent went above and beyond to cater to our every whim and need. Their genuine desire to assist us was palpable, leaving us feeling truly valued and cared for. I am already making plans to return with my beloved family, as I know they too deserve to bask in the unparalleled warmth and luxury that this establishment exudes. This hotel has set the bar impossibly high, redefining the meaning of hospitality and creating memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. So if you seek a hotel experience that transcends mere accommodation and transforms into a symphony of opulence, impeccable service, and culinary artistry, then look no further. I stay 2 night here. Service is excellence as always. Do check in before heading to Port and ask where is the place. Got lounge and timing for ship to bring you to the hotel. There is also shuttle bus bring u to train or bus station from the port so do request for it

Grateful for the nice and helpful lady at the reception. Facilities are great (Onsen of course), a decent room to stay in and they even offer you amenities to enjoy tea there. Also, thankful to the hotel that offered me a ride to the train station so that I don't have to worry about getting on a bus with my heavy luggage. Thank you for such a pleasant hotel experience you have offered me, hotel staff team!

I had a wonderful stay at Shirahama Terrace Hotel. The location is perfect — just a short walk from the beach with a beautiful ocean view. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. I especially loved the onsen facilities; they were relaxing and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast was delicious, with a good mix of Japanese and Western options. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shirahama.

Comfy bed, large and clean room. Have common areas like shared kitchen at the residence. The residence is located next to the main block of the hotel. You have to walk outside for ~2min to travel to the main block if you would like to enjoy the hot spring / play at the game room / exchange for new towels. Hot spring is nice, with indoor and outdoor areas. The outdoor one is with stunning sea view. There are snooker, table tennis, and other games in the game room for all guests.

The best resort I stayed in Japan, spacial thank you to the stuff at the front desk who had been super kind and helpful. The hot spring which overlooks the ocean is stunning, highly recommended!

紀伊田邊車站一出來走20米就是，麻雀雖小五臟俱全，基本的洗浴設施和用品都有，早上還有一頓簡餐。就是在車站邊有點吵，床簾拉不嚴實睡覺輕的可以帶個眼罩和耳塞。作為從大阪過來連接熊野古道的第一個停靠點，還可以，如果是徒步了一天再來住個人覺得不太合適。
