I had a wonderful stay at Shirahama Terrace Hotel. The location is perfect — just a short walk from the beach with a beautiful ocean view. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. I especially loved the onsen facilities; they were relaxing and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast was delicious, with a good mix of Japanese and Western options. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shirahama.

We absolutely cannot contain our elation when recalling our recent stay at this remarkable hotel. From the moment we stepped into the elevator adorned with personalized name cards, my husband and I were enveloped in the warm embrace of hospitality. The attention to detail and the genuine kindness of the staff made us feel like VIP guests. They also thoughtfully provided a bucket for us to indulge in the glowing enchantment of firecrackers and even tidied the mess up afterwards. But the best memory of our stay here was definitely the culinary experience given by the chef extraordinaire — Master Chef Matsuki. His creations were nothing short of a gastronomic revelation. Each dish was a testament to his unwavering dedication and profound respect for the ingredients. Oh, the flavors — titillating all our taste buds in every bite. And the generosity of Chef Matsuki in sharing his culinary wisdom, guiding us on how to savor each morsel, elevated the entire dining experience to sheer perfection. The language barrier was no obstacle to the remarkable team of staff members who graced us with their presence. Their command of the English language was commendable, and even those who were not entirely fluent went above and beyond to cater to our every whim and need. Their genuine desire to assist us was palpable, leaving us feeling truly valued and cared for. I am already making plans to return with my beloved family, as I know they too deserve to bask in the unparalleled warmth and luxury that this establishment exudes. This hotel has set the bar impossibly high, redefining the meaning of hospitality and creating memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. Extremely good service and good. Outstanding and attentive staff to make your stay feel great. Not too many people which was great and big plus for sending to train station with car when it rained a lot.

A private hot spring bath is superb in the room for relaxation. Friendly front desk reception staff Victor is helpful.

We had 3 nights stay fronting the sea. Walking about 10 minutes to train station along covered walkway. Besides, many restaurants to hunt for meals. The hotel provide simple breakfasts which come handy for our hike to Kumano Kodo trail and Nachisan waterfall. Pretty close a big free footbath and morning fish market not far from the hotel. Near the train station they are many buses to Nachisan waterfall and Shingu town. Quite a peaceful fishing town.

Zemin katta kapalı/açık onsen ve her öğleden sonra 15:00 ile 17:00 arasında ücretsiz alkol ve atıştırmalıklar var! Paranızın karşılığını fazlasıyla alıyorsunuz ve Kumano Kodo'yu yaptıktan sonra dağlardan yeni çıktıysanız, rahatlayıp medeniyete geri dönebileceğiniz harika bir yer.

Comfy bed, large and clean room. Have common areas like shared kitchen at the residence. The residence is located next to the main block of the hotel. You have to walk outside for ~2min to travel to the main block if you would like to enjoy the hot spring / play at the game room / exchange for new towels. Hot spring is nice, with indoor and outdoor areas. The outdoor one is with stunning sea view. There are snooker, table tennis, and other games in the game room for all guests.

由於將紀伊田邊作為熊野古道的出入口，所以選擇在田邊站酒店隔日入住兩次，因此酒店會貼心的給我們免費保存大件行李，這樣我們就可攜帶最少的行李在入住川湯温泉酒店前後，可以輕便的遊玩，推薦大家選擇這種方式。

Right in front of the bus stop Kamaya-Mae I think.. Kind hosts who speaks a reasonable amount of English. Dinner smelled delicious but I didn’t go for it because I wanted to try the other restaurant in the area. If I return to kawayu, I will come back here.
