The two queen beds in the room is smaller than expected (we measured the two beds at 150cm x 188cm) The rooms and inside the hotel can be cleaner as it is a “5 star” hotel. The food at Thai Restaurant is normal (nothing special). The salad bar at the morning buffet is good. I think the location is good. The parking lot is far…. You might have to walk 5 minutes back to the front entrance if the parking spots at the front are taken (usually are and we went during low season). Overall, this hotel offers its services and products like a 4 star hotel rather than “5 stars”.

Stayed here last year and thought I'd come back to the same place. Wasn't quite as good as I remembered, but good for the price. First impressions of the room was that it was great except the cleaning wasn't quite on point - first thing I saw in the bathroom was a used tooth pick on the side next to the sink and the big chair had 2 dead insects on it. Facilities are otherwise good, but I didn't remember the TV being this bad. Booked up via some old school antenna and not a single channel was HD. Even the ones with an HD logo were SD and blurry. Everything else is great and handy that they have 2 washing machines and 2 dryers (free apart from $30 for detergent) although one person had hogged both dryers so I had a long wait before I could use a drying machine. Location is fantastic. Easy to walk to most of the sights, and right in the middle of loads of cool food places, even if most of them always seem to be shut!

Very recommended place to stay, quite new. Their breakfast is good too most satisfied me is their location, just 3 mins walk to MRT station

This hotel is same row as green hotel Taichung. Location is very strategic because it is very near to the Fengjia night market which it is within walking distance. Meanwhile it is no laundry services inside the hotel and you only can bring the cloths to self service laundry shop nearby. Overall the room is not big but it is consider clean and easy access to night market and convenience shops.

FX Inn Hotel in Kaohsiung offers a sense of comfort and tranquility. While the rooms are not luxurious in size, they are thoughtfully arranged—bright, clean, and well-kept. The beds are soft yet supportive, allowing guests to wake up refreshed after a restful night. The bathroom and overall environment are equally spotless, with attention to detail that reflects genuine care. The service is another highlight. Staff members are consistently polite, wearing warm smiles and responding promptly to requests. Whether during check-in, check-out, or handling everyday inquiries, they go about their duties with professionalism and attentiveness, creating a truly welcoming atmosphere.

The hotel is very centrally located and you won't have any trouble finding good food or shopping venues. It's also very close to the train station and the bus station to Sun Moon Lake. For me it was perfect. The lobby is also gorgeous and well-designed, very clean and overall appealing. The personnel is friendly. My initial room was clean and very comfortable and had a fan in it additionally to the AC. Unfortunately there was pretty obvious water damage as water was dripping from the ceiling and running down the wall which actually got worse by the hour. It was after a typhoon so maybe that had something to do with it. I went to the reception and told them about it and they were very accomodating and gave me a different room. It was pretty obvious that they didn't care about water literally running down the wall, though, and I think that's odd and damaging to the room and hotel. The new room had some water damage, too, but it was less severe so I didn't bother getting another different room.

The location is good, nearby MRT and night market. Many convenient stores around too. I have press the cleaning service button during staying but found the cleaner only change the dustbin bag and towels, and no cleaning the floor.

We stayed 5 days in Taichung for our pre-wedding shoot, and the location couldn’t be more convenient. Just a 10-minute walk to Wernar Wedding, and everything else we wanted to explore was nearby. Morning strolls to Third Market for breakfast, a sweet stop at Miyahara for ice cream, a fun baking session at the Sun Cake Museum, and night walks to Yizhong Market for food. Loved how walkable everything was! The only bad thing is that there is not enough space to open luggage.

Will visit again, best hotel in Tainan. Room is spacious, clean, noice reduction is legit, and you have a Bluetooth speaker in the room!
