Notre séjour c'est très bien passé. Nous avions une chambre au soleil ce qui n est pas négligeable en Normandie. Les repas était bien servis. Les serveurs très efficaces malgré ce gros week end.

Chambre spacieuse et agréable, ménage au top et petit déjeuner apprécié
Un petit bémol : il faisait un peu trop chaud bien que le radiateur était éteint et la Tv, bridée à 20 au niveau sonore, devient difficilement audible si on ouvre la fenêtre (notre chambre donnait sur la route et beaucoup de passage de motos).
Il m a manqué un rangement pour les affaires de toilette dans la salle de bain.

Merci beaucoup pour l’accueil et l’engagement de cette Hôtel, très propre, professionnellement de qualité de l’équipe et de l’hôtel et même du petit déjeuner.
Je vous le recommande fortement très bien situé de la gare et même du Centre Commercial et de la Plage aussi !
Nous reviendrons si il le faut !

Пребывание в отеле нам очень понравилось: свежий ремонт в номерах, удобная кровать, чайная станция. Круглосуточный ресепшн, приветливые и отзывчивые сотрудники. До исторического центра около 10 минут пешком.
Единственный небольшой минус - вход в отель под эстакадой, а также вид на неё из окна. Шума от машин практически не слышно - окна хорошо изолируют.

MMisafir KullanıcıIf you want to experience La vraie vie de chateau (a real life a a castle owner) this is your choice. Only 5 rooms available, very private, feels like you are in your own chateau… fabulous park and setting around the main building, was told there are other separate “mini” houses in the park , and you can go watch the horses…. And admire the view on the valley.
Our room: we booked the round bedroom … the center bedroom on the 1st floor…. Fabulous place, need a bit of upgrade in the bathroom… if anything… but seriously felt like a châtelain… as we reached early, we were welcomed by one of the sons of the owners who took us around the private wing, “his house”, and told us everything about the mansion history as well as hotel business. A great interaction with a friendly castle owner and businessman. They also have a snooker, a gym and sauna…. I mean… what else do you want!!!
We had to go out for dinner (at L’Hermitage) which the owner booked for us.
Breakfastwas served in the salons…. Stylish French dépit déjeuner, served by a dynamic, friendly and frank lady.
Just go. Dont hesitate.

Nice welcome at reception when we checked in earlier than planned. We got touristic advice to go around and they kept our big suitcases. We unfortunately didn’t get parking as they were full.. all reserved (NB: trip.com never discussed that we had to book the parking, this is something Accor and Trip.com should discuss about as this is now our 2nd encounter of this problem…. Coming from Malaysia and renting a car, this is not helping… we had no idea we had to reserve parking)
The bedroom was very nice, pretty balcony but small bathroom… especially given the placement of the toilet…. lol. But never mind. Nice deck of the bedroom and the hotel too… themed on Christian Dior and fashion, we liked that ☺️
Last the breakfast and its location: beautiful. The view of the sea is really good, the furniture is nicely chosen, and the food is good. First time I see a « make your sunny side up eggs yourself » set in a hotel, which was cool.

MMisafir KullanıcıThe hotel is nicely located, few steps away from the main attractions, hotel has its own parking which is convenient, however the number of places is limited. There are water refill stations on every floor, which is very handy. The breakfast has good variety of products. The swimming pool is on a smaller side and the water is quite cold to our preferences, so it’s mainly for “soaking in cold water” rather then swimming:) the family room for 4 is spacious, beds are comfortable, window sound proofing is not the best.

Overnight parking is €19.
Very irritating is the shower in the bathroom as the water goes between too hot and too cold on its own pattern and you can't control it.. Typical for the buildings with the plumbing issues, or the water pressure..

Breakfast was a continental buffet with a variety of cheese, meats, bread, fruit, and cereals. A short walk from the hotel is a large selection of shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants.
This hotel offers excellent value for money along with an excellent location to explore Cherbourg.

L’hôtel est propre et bien situé, parfait pour découvrir la ville sans être trop éloigné des principaux points d’intérêt.
