However the receptionists were frequently smoking in the lobby and I could smell the smoke from the corridor. Luckily there was no smoke smell inside the room."

"Great proactive service by 小许 and 小于 who helped a lot via WeChat. Arranged free transportation to and from the railway station and to the North Slope Tourist Distribution Centre (I think that's what it's called). They also proactively asked me daily if there was anything that I needed help in and their response was very quick. Very commendable. There is also a deer park within the hotel grounds which was nice. Breakfast was above average. We also ate at the hotel for dinner twice and the food quality was good. Sound proofing of the room was excellent so noise was not an issue. A very good hotel within walking distance to the Chinese Merganser Park."

"The evening sky outside the hotel was stunning. I didn't take any pictures of the hotel itself, but the environment, facilities, toiletries, and service were all excellent. The only drawback is that the transportation isn't very convenient. It's not too far from Genting and Endau, but also not exceptionally close. They do offer a shuttle service though."

"Our stay at the Changbai Mountain North Slope Dynasty Holy Land Hot Spring Hotel was, overall, a great experience. The biggest highlight was definitely the hot springs. There's a wide variety of pools with different functions to choose from, and the environment is serene and peaceful with not too many people. It was incredibly relaxing to soak in the springs, especially after a mountain hike – perfect for unwinding. The guest room was comfortable; it was clean and tidy, with no issues whatsoever, ensuring a very restful sleep. For lunch and dinner, the hotel prepares dishes fresh to order, meaning no pre-made meals. The ingredients were fresh, and the food tasted genuinely good. The only slight downside was that breakfast could use some improvement. Overall, it's a highly recommended place to stay when visiting Changbai Mountain, especially for those looking to relax with a hot spring experience."

Home2 Suites by Hilton Changbaishan Hot Spring
"1. I specifically booked a 'Panoramic Sunrise' room, but the sun actually rises at about a 45-degree angle to the left of the room. I had to crane my neck out the window to the left to see it. 2. Upon check-in, the refrigerator shelves were full of water; it clearly hadn't been defrosted or cleaned recently. 3. My room reservation included a 'one-on-one butler service,' but I never saw a butler or was contacted by one, even until check-out. 4. The housekeeping during my extended stay was even worse (see attached picture). Given that Ctrip rated this hotel as 'five-star,' I honestly think it barely meets a two-star standard. For such an expensive room rate, it's definitely not worth the price. If I had known this, I wouldn't have stayed here even at 50% off. After repeated mediation with Ctrip customer service, the hotel finally offered a 15% discount, but I still advise everyone not to stay at this hotel. There are plenty of better hotels with good value for money nearby."

The overall environment and hygiene are meticulously maintained. The room is spacious and bright, with a separate wet and dry bathroom. The mattress is just the right firmness, perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. The indoor temperature is comfortable, and there's no unpleasant new-decoration smell. The hotel is situated by the forest, offering a tranquil environment filled with negative ions. Opening the window reveals breathtaking views of vast pine forests. Since I love the freshness of nature, the misty atmosphere in the mornings here is truly captivating, ideal for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. Every staff member at the front desk is incredibly enthusiastic. Check-in was efficient and quick. They proactively offered hot water, recommended local delicacies, and provided helpful tips for hiking. Any requests were promptly addressed, and they thoughtfully reminded us about the temperature differences in the mountains and important precautions for climbing. A major highlight is that the restaurant also offers late-night supper service, featuring my favorite Korean creamy buldak noodles and delicious small side dishes with Yanbian Korean ethnic characteristics. Paired with instant noodles, it's incredibly tasty! The restaurant staff can even help cook the instant noodles. It's no exaggeration to say it's a feast for both the eyes and the palate – a luxurious version of instant noodles! They even thoughtfully added cabbage, spinach, and an egg. I kept replaying the taste in my mind long after I finished eating. The public areas are clean and quiet. The air around is fresh in the mornings and evenings, with lush green mountains and forests everywhere, allowing for an immersive experience of Changbai Mountain's natural atmosphere. It's suitable for both solo travelers and group outings. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Changbai Mountain."

"The service was impeccable. The hotel even arranged a free shuttle down the mountain. Although breakfast was served late, the hotel handled the situation perfectly, ordering breakfast from the restaurant and having it delivered to my room. My skin felt very smooth after soaking in the sulfur hot spring. The room was spacious and even had a private hot spring bath. Everything was just perfect."

The rooms are perfect, fully equipped, and the service of the girls at the front desk is very good. It is very close to take a taxi to any place, and you can basically get there for 6 yuan. It is very convenient. The breakfast is also good. We went late on the first day, and the auntie was collecting the food. When she saw us coming, she took out the food for us to eat. Thank you very much"

The hotel breakfast offered a rich variety, including hot and cold dishes, fruits, and beverages. The hotel environment was quiet and provided great photo opportunities. It was also convenient for visiting attractions like the Magic World Rafting and Changbai Mountain Scenic Area. Our entire stay was very comfortable, and the staff were warm and attentive. My friends and I both felt we chose the right hotel, and if we come to Changbai Mountain again, we will definitely prioritize the Four Points by Sheraton!"
