"The best hotel I stayed in in China. Pricey, but an extremely memorable experience. 1) Got a free upgrade from a room without a view of the mountain to one with a view. It was incredible and perhaps the best view from a hotel I've seen in my life, complete with a floating bathtub, smart curtains, all the frills. 2) Food is amazing- got dinner ordered in (as your options are limited), abit pricey but very delicious and so too was breakfast. 3) Location is incredible as it is right in front of a viewpoint of the mountain. The hotel also has a beautiful rooftop complete with piano and deck. It even has free tripods for use, on the deck and in the room, which was perfect for me a solo traveler. To share- I took the usual (public?) bus from Shangri-la which was a incredibly scenic four hour ride. This bus isn't the most comfortable. It's cramped and very difficult to communicate if you don't speak Chinese, but I got by with WeChat. This hotel will tell you to get the bus driver to drop you at Wu Nong Ding which is slightly before Fei Lai Si- from there the hotel picks you up and you arrive in the hotel within maybe 5 minutes. The hotel also helped me arrange for a ticket on the bus back to Shangri-la. Thank you for your hospitality!"

"Todo excelente! Habitación hermosa, muy amplia y luminosa. Muy buena limpieza. El dueño nos trató con gran calidez y hospitalidad. Nos hemos sentido en casa. Está en una zona muy tranquila rodeada de verde y el lugar tiene muchos espacios para relajarse al exterior. Nos queríamos quedar más días allí. Gracias! Ha sido perfecto, saludos !!"

"This hotel has the best location in Upper Yubeng, as it is only a short walk away from the main village while the rest of the hotels in the village are built very closely together. The view from the room is amazing too, just as advertised, though the weather was not good while we came the view of the mountains and Lower Yubeng was still beautiful. Room comes with smart toilet, heated floors and heated blankets. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable about the area and very quick to respond to queries on WeChat, which we appreciated. There is a stove heater in the middle of the hotel where you can have a cup of ginger tea and watch the hotel cats walk about. We also ordered dinner at their in-house restaurant and we enjoyed the food too. The hotel also has a cafe with good coffee and a viewing deck both on the roof which we could see Baima mountain very clearly during the time we were there. Would recommend everyone to choose this hotel when coming to Upper Yubeng."

"Room is pretty and seems newly renovated. Hotel is one of the highest point and shall be able to see the beauty view of meili mountain. We are not fortunate enough as it was foggyyyy that morning. But if you are fortunate, I believe the view will be stunning from the room. Plenty of restaurants and convenience store within 3mins walk"

"Hotel is right on one of the main roads in the town with only about 5mins taxi ride to the North gate of the historic town and about 10 minutes walking to the bus terminal. The room is clean and in a decent size. The staff is helpful and friendly when being approached. Breakfast is served with both local dietaries and limited kind of bread pastries cereals for western visitors. We are served with free fruit plate in the room during the stay as well. Overall it was a good stay considering the price and location."

"我們坐大巴到飛來寺，因為高反嚴重，打電話請求來站點接我們，本來店家沒有這個服務的，但是非常熱情的答應了。實際路途非常近，我們慢吞吞走也就兩三分鐘的路。民宿雖然沒有電梯，我們住在三樓，工作人員都非常好，幫我們把行李扛上扛下。晚上23點就在民宿的一樓（也是他們的餐飲店）點了份**套餐，量大管飽美味。還有第二天的早餐，也是量大，但是我高反有點明顯，沒啥胃口。最後説一下房間，我們在室外高反嚴重，進了房間非常精神（可能有彌散供氧？即使沒有用製氧機。即使後續我們開了地暖，也不會悶，非常暖和，非常舒適，以至於我們還看電視到了凌晨兩三點。我們住的是靠街道的房間，其實能看到一部分飛來寺觀景台，但是會有點偏。這是我整個6天雲南旅行住過最棒的民宿，民宿還得住新的。缺點：民宿沒有電梯，廁所沒有門😂不過我們兩女生還好。總的來説還不錯，各方面都還是令人滿意的"

"The hotel location is very near to see the Sunrise of the Meili Snow Mountain. Service is good and room is very nice. Food is of typical Shangri-La style Mee Xian, eggs and porridge. As we were there in late Oct, there was no air conditioning and relied on natural air, the room can be a bit warm. The overall experience of the hotel is still very good."

"The service is super nice, they have pick up service from Deqin tunnel to the hotel. Hosts are friendly who ask whether you need help often. The location is sick, you can directly see the snow mountain from the balcony. That would save loads of energy going out and back. Amenities are clean, making us feel comfortable staying. One point to note, their food is so nice, not expecting to have these qualitied meals up the hill."
