"Last night, I wanted to go out and buy something to eat. As it was my first time in Shandong, I was not familiar with this place at all. The attentive front desk staff introduced me to a place to eat, but the language barrier prevented me. The boy wearing glasses and the lobby manager patiently translated for me. "I stay at Hamptoms often as they are reliable in terms of service, room and breakfast standards. This one did not disappoint me! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a problem with my back while staying and they even drove me to the hospital ! The location is very convenient for business travel and there is a supermarket right next door and lots of dining and Cafe options around. Would stay here again if I come to Jinan again. Very clean and new!"

"I found what looked like an engorged tick or bedbug crawling up my bed. The hotel is pretty and I booked it for 1 night as a luxury treat so I could get a good rest for my layover stop to another destination. My room smelt like stale smoke unfortunately, though I had asked for non-smoking. I paid extra on my booking for breakfast and had to wake up at 6am, eat breakfast at 6.30am and go to the airport at 7.20am. My room had a bathtub so I took a bath before bedtime and went to bed at midnight, I got up to go switch the lamp off at 1am and found this bug crawling up the side of my bed going towards me. I think it's either a tick or a bed bug, the body was full of blood. It had 6 or 8 legs, difficult to see but I took a video which doesn't allow me to upload. I don't have any problems with normal bugs such as spiders, but if it is a tick or bedbug it is a big problem. I was really worried there were more hiding inside the bed, I called reception for help and they looked at the bug which I caught in a glass cup. They apologised deeply and changed my room, so I had to move at 1.30am. I explained I was already tired and have to wake up early. In the new room I was unable to sleep as I kept worrying about bed bugs. I got up multiple times to check my bed. And there was a noisy couple next door talking loudly until very late so I couldn't sleep. For a luxury hotel you should not need to loose a whole night's sleep because you are worried about bedbugs or ticks biting you. Nor should be able to hear noise from other guests through the wall. I was extremely exhausted the next day and did not have any appetite. I asked if they could refund the extra I paid for breakfast because I couldn't eat it, but they said it wasn't possible. So I forced myself to try eat 1 egg and some small rice porridge but couldn't finish it. Really expensive to pay for breakfast and hardly eat, it's a shame they couldn't refund the breakfast considering I had no sleep. For a 5* hotel, I would like to have good rest and peaceful sleep. But it was not like that. The staff were very kind and helpful, but it's not so easy to travel here alone. It was not easy to book a taxi for the following morning to the airport and it took 40 minutes of assistance, the man was very kind and helpful, but the hotel should make an easier system for foreign guests to book taxi. When I first arrived in Jinan airport, I had no idea how to get to the hotel. There is no ATM inside the hotel so you cannot withdraw cash, and you cannot pay with foreign card to book a taxi. The shangri-la website did not provide any details for public transport. It simply said bus transfer was available but did not say which number bus. I would give the details here but I have forgotten the route name and bus number now as it was hectic and I was very tired, sorry. I had to waste a lot of time trying to ask for help at the airport as the staff did not speak English. Luckily someone helped me. The bus will cost 20yuan and take you into the centre where you will see the intercontinental hotel and a large shopping mall on the left side of the bus, get off at that stop, it takes 1 hour. From there it's only 5 minutes walk to shangri-la. For a big hotel they should provide easy instructions on the website to guests. The staff apologised deeply for the bug on the bed, and offered 10% reduction of the room rate. Although when I checked out no refund was given and they didn't mention anything about it, I think they just charged full price. Personally I think 10% is not enough anyway. Nobody wants to change rooms at 1.30am because of bugs crawling on the bed. I didn't get any sleep at all and felt itchy because I kept thinking about bugs and couldn't eat the breakfast. I was absolutely exhausted the following day so I was unable to do anything at my next destination and had to waste 1 day more to rest. Unfortunately not an easy experience at the shangri-la."

"這家酒店住得特別舒服，從進門開始就覺得省心。前台工作人員態度親切，辦入住退房都快，不用等半天。房間收拾得乾乾淨淨，沒有一點異味，床單被套摸着手感軟和，睡一晚特別解乏，房間還有沙發。衞生間乾濕分離做得好，熱水來得快還穩定，洗漱用品也夠用。早上的早餐種類也很多，熱乎又管飽，出門逛景點前吃一頓特別踏實。而且位置也方便，步行到附近的公交站、超市都不遠，下次來這邊玩，肯定還定這！"

"常來濟南，也算略有閲歷，朋友力介這家，也是帶着些許期待吧。導航進院車位寬綽讓我放鬆了許多，登記都這樣吧，前台都很禮貌，但旁邊的茶水和小吃確實解決了一路的疲憊，尤其是那個奶香味的小麻花，抵餓解饞，絕對推薦。老闆好像有懷舊情懷，民國風情的旗袍照片，幽遠肅然的清末府邸照，百年前的唱片機，雅緻的咖啡廳裏竟然還有一組閲兵式上的步槍（模型哈），真是應景當下的國際環境。住的感受沒有説的，安靜、衞生啥的都很棒，關鍵人家百米之內就有濟南天花板級的海鮮自助豐卓會，蓮花購物商場，到齊魯軟件園也不過一公里，真心話，確實是我們出差人的首選，我也推薦一下！對了，人家停車是免費的，還有早、中餐是包含的，別浪費了哈。"

"正式運營不久，特來打卡，先説結論，體驗很好，性價比高，來濟南還會住！！ 交通：公交地鐵都還算方便，去奧體或者泉城廣場比較直線，附近幾條路不太堵車，樓下就有不少吃的。 房間：寬敞明亮，通風很好，該有的都有，床品也很舒服，落地窗view很好。隔音完美（可能是人不多）。大廳和走廊設計也挺好。 餐飲：早餐算是福朋級別裏豐富的，有濟南特色把子肉也有檔口，肉夾饃強烈推薦；這家酒店有自己的happyhour，很不錯的增值服務。 設施：健身房乾淨，器械不多但夠用，不擁擠；有免費的自助洗衣加大分，洗烘設備各3台。 服務：新店服務超級好很熱情，各個環節都能看到有人服務，也比較重視意見反饋。可能是新店限時體驗。Angela和楊經理特別熱情認真負責！ 再説説自己感覺的不足：室温温控不太懂怎麼調，按了不用確認但是已經工作了？水温温控似乎沒有中間檔，特別燙，反饋後已經解決；總開關沒有覆蓋衞生間；都是小問題。 總體來説，作為濟南萬豪系第二家酒店，整體水平在同級別酒店裡屬於很好的，性價比不錯，強烈推薦來體驗體驗。"

"一家新開業的寶藏酒店，位置很好，交通便利，樓下500米就是濟南有名的美食圈子。裝修很有品味，床品乾淨舒適，房間地板更是乾淨的一塵不染，我這個有輕微潔癖的人都可以放心的光腳在地板上走，這一點就秒殺很多星級酒店。酒店還自帶健身房和一間很有格調的小酒吧，逛累了回到酒店去酒吧喝杯美女調酒師的特調雞尾酒，然後回房間躺在浴缸裏看着濟南的夜景泡個澡，簡直太愜意了～工作人員也特別周到熱情，下次來濟南還住這家～"
