"Wonderful setting and decor. Clean, comfortable bed. Would be good to add a smaller shower with the rain shower as it was difficult to have a shower without a shower cap  Helpful and attentive staff.  Good breakfast except they had obviously ran out of fresh mushrooms and replaced them with tinned, would have been better if they had asked if they can replace with something else and they were left untouched"

"We loved our stay at the Landsdown hotel for New Year’s Eve. Only a short (but steep downhill) walk to the town centre and the Royal crescent which suited us very well, and the parking was perfect (apparently this is one of few hotels to have parking in the town centre although we paid £15 per night, but was allowed to stay until 4pm the next day). Breakfast was included and was delicious, the staff were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble and they were super knowledgeable and helpful. The room itself had a nice view of the town, and had everything we needed. The only criticism was our window didn’t open but there was a fan supplied in the cupboard. Would definitely recommend and would come here again :)"

"等候Checking的區域很英式很美. 我們定的是經典房，要穿過主樓，經過花園，來到一個馬房裡麪的二樓. 房間挺乾淨的，廁所也比較大. 但是位置讓人覺得有點失望. 高價格和酒店高定位，讓我們自動默認房間的視線會特別好，會俯瞰巴斯城. 實際情況讓人失望. 看出去是另一邊的街景，不敢開窗. 純英式的白人老大爺幫忙拿行李，讓你不好意思不給小費. 餐廳非常好吃，花菜特別好吃.在這個地方你要不斷溝通提要求.他們可以做得更好."

"I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The location is excellent, just a 7-minute walk from the train station. The room was clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable also the bathroom was excellent. The reception staff and the housekeeping staff were kind and friendly. Breakfast was good and met my expectations. Overall, this hotel is very impressive and I highly recommend it."

"房間其實不錯，挺大的。一個客廳一個卧室，我們這個房間是朝北的，對着大樹和遠處山上的房子。兩扇窗户都可以打開，沒有紗簾，衹有窗簾，但是對面沒有對着的房子其實也還好。 洗手間很乾凈，是典型德國風格的衞浴設施，掛牆的廁所，米色的瓷磚，浴缸淋浴間都很大，水暖的一個熱毛巾架子。簡潔又實用。 設施：房間沒有冰箱，所以在2樓有一個pantry，那邊有冰箱和一些免費的汽水飲料牛奶，還有爆米花，水果。房間有送兩瓶礦泉水，喝完了可以去pantry的過濾水設施那邊裝新的。 衞生：衞生狀況還可以，起碼洗手間打掃的很乾凈。床鋪晚上回來也看到鋪好了，但是衣服不會幫忙疊的，這點和亞洲的酒店不一樣。 服務：酒店的bar非常不錯，一壺茶才4英鎊，早餐也很好吃，不用出去吃早飯。服務人員也很熱情。 地理位置很好的，車站走過來大概10來分鐘，Bath本身很小，所以去哪都很近。 總體來説，是來巴斯的住的很好的選擇，起碼這個酒店不用爬坡。😂"

"Friendly reception staff and smooth process of checking in. Room was spacious and had a good view. Walkable distance to town centre. Breakfast spread was great as well! Would return in the future!"

"Attended on Tuesday 27th Feb. Paid a little extra for room with a bath as like the couple ****** we are, we wanted a bath in Bath. My wife's first time ever visiting here. The hotel is a lovely setting, there is history here and all the staff have been wonderful. Close to the station, literally in front of it, and close to everything. Had the great pleasure of having many encounters with Tim, one of the reception staff and I believe concierges. Super pleasant and always helpful. We had breakfast included and after having that this morning can honestly say it's bang for your buck, with hot food to order including steak and eggs, (best steak my wife has had in the UK), a breakfast grill and a selection of others plus a typical selection of baked goods and fruits. The bar is pleasant and we enjoyed drinks last night before heading up to our room. Strawberry daiquiri we have had many times but the Amaretto sour was an interesting twist with a strong lemon zest. The only downside to the visit would be the bath/shower experience. Lukewarm bath and cold shower when we attempted it last night. This morning we got hot water for a total of ten mins to share before it went cold again. Not the worst thing all in all but a downside considering the extra pricing for a bathtub room. I was however assured that had I brought it to the desks attention I would have been assisted and I had just done the British thing of not wanting to fuss. One last perk that made an impact to me; free luggage storage. We checked out early so we could make the best of our time exploring Bath before we ride home. We were offered free luggage storage for even after we checked out so we could come back in quick before our train at 3pm and grab our bags and go, no extra charge. Fantastically useful as the Abbey tour does not allow luggage inside and we wanted to go. Anyway, thank you to Tim and all the staff at The Royal for making us feel welcomed and our time there special, we will definitely be coming back someday soon and will stay again. - Liam and Jenny Stephenson, Room 109.
