The location, while charming and peaceful, is about a 10-15 minute walk from Asakusa Station. For those weary from a day of sightseeing, this distance might feel a bit far, but the tranquil surroundings help balance it out. The dorm-style accommodations are functional, featuring standard metal bunk beds. While sturdy, the beds can be a bit noisy, particularly when someone is moving on the upper bunk, which might disturb light sleepers. The shared facilities are clean, though it’s worth noting that showers are located on the ground floor, which may be inconvenient for those staying on higher levels. Towels and basic toiletries are provided upon check-in, with the option to purchase additional sets if you prefer daily replacements—an understandable policy for a budget-friendly hostel. Storage is provided via metal lockers, which are secure but can generate some noise when accessed, so considerate use is appreciated to avoid disturbing fellow guests. The front desk staff were generally welcoming, though their English proficiency varied. Some were fluent and eager to assist, while others were less confident, which occasionally made communication a little challenging but never insurmountable. Overall, Tora Hotel Asakusa is a solid choice for budget-conscious travelers seeking a safe and affordable base in a vibrant part of Tokyo. While there are minor inconveniences, such as the walk from the station and the shared facilities, the low cost and peaceful neighborhood make it a worthwhile option for those prioritizing value and location. I’d recommend it to backpackers or solo travelers looking for a no-frills stay with easy access to Asakusa’s cultural gems."

"Free shuttle to Narita Airport begins at 5 a.m., with a pharmacy conveniently located inside the hotel. A lifesaver for travelers suddenly rerouted to an early flight. Just a reminder that it is an older property. But at this price, what more could you ask for?"

"Otel, Suidobashi istasyonuna sadece 1 dakikalık yürüme mesafesindedir. Batı kapısı çıkışını kullanın. Çıkışın yalnızca merdiven çıkışı olduğunu unutmayın. Uygun mağaza metronun kendisinde yer almaktadır, ancak her gün saat 21.00'de kapanmaktadır. Otel Japonya olduğu göz önüne alındığında büyük. Büyük valizler tamamen açılacaktır. Temiz havlu ve çarşaflar 2 günde bir sağlanmaktadır. 2 geceden az kalan konuklar için havlu/çarşaf değişimi yapılmamaktadır. Havlular odadaki tabletten talep edilebilir. Ancak 1. seviye sayaçtan kendinizin alması gerekir. Küvet mevcut değil, su sıcaklığı ve basıncı iyi. Bide mevcuttur. Duş alanında cam kapının kilitlenebileceğini unutmayın. Daha fazla mahremiyet için harici bir perde bulunmaktadır. Lavabo makyaj masasının üzerinde yer almaktadır. Süper kullanışlı, ucuz ve tren yolun hemen karşısından geçmesine rağmen son derece sessiz olduğundan kalmanızı şiddetle tavsiye ederim!"

"2'den fazla kişiyle seyahat edenler için harika bir otel. Kendi bahçeleri ve diğer tesisleri olan bir tatil yeri gibidir. En yakın metroya veya JR istasyonuna sadece 10 dakikalık yürüme mesafesindedir. Personel dost canlısıdır. Ayrıca bagajınızı birkaç günlüğüne saklayabilir ve lobi alanında çok sayıda taksi bulabilirsiniz. Otelde çeşitli restoranlar ve yapılacak aktiviteler de mevcuttur. Tavsiye ederim."

"First time staying and it was not disappointing. The aircon and water pressure and hot water controls are definitely good. Location there’s no complaints as the main Shiodome/Shimbashi train station is below the hotel building so rain or shine transport’s there. Many business travellers and not much family goers so the general atmosphere is quiet. Front desk is efficient and gets **** done very quickly. Oh yes, the airport bus limousine transfers at the hotel for Narita which is great for worry free transport. Only letdown was the morning breakfast buffet spread which was small but acceptable. Taste was decent. I will stay again when I’m there for sure. It’s either Shimbashi or Odaiba Bay."

"Asakusa Kaede is a cute, cozy, quiet hotel right in the middle of the busy streets of Asakusa. Staff are friendly, polite, helpful, and they speak great English. Breakfast was delicious! (It wasn't included in our booking but we added once we got there). Rooms were very clean and their bathrooms have everything you need. I personally would come back here again. Big thanks to the entire staff!"

"We had a lovely stay at Yokohama Bay Hotel—the location was fantastic, with beautiful views of the bay and easy access to nearby attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel does show some signs of age, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The only minor downside was the gym, which was quite small and had limited equipment, along with unusual operating hours. That said, if you’re not relying on fitness facilities, this hotel is a great choice for a relaxing stay in Yokohama!"
