We knew the service would be good as soon as we booked, and within hours we received a welcome email, listing the ways we could contact them if we needed to. On the pick up at the airport, they were speedy and efficient and the taxi ride only took us 20 minutes with traffic. As we walked through the door we were blown away by the interior decoration, only then to find that hotel had been a former palace! Historic artifacts and pictures were strewn through the hallways and the outside only matched the royal feel with perfection. We stayed in the royal suite, with a big bed and balcony. The staff were great, the breakfast was standard for off peak times and although the location isn't in the depth of Thamel, the area most will go out for eating and drinking, it was within 30 minutes drive of most landmarks and as it was the ambassedy/ office worker area, there was a nice vibe. There were some things that can't be controlled. The hotel did a good job of providing heat as the weather in February is still chilly. The pollution was real. Especially as you walk nearer the streets, something to think about if you are sensitive to this. Apart from that, It was all really wonderful. A beautiful hotel in an airport convenient, but horrible location. Perfect for 1 night pass through traffic or conference meeting, but not great as a tourist base hotel. Staff amazing, Indian restaurant was quality. Italian restaurant exposes you to traffic fumes and noise, very unpleasant, likely this menu is also available in the Dyne restaurant. Drink and food prices not bad, Breakfast for the price they charge was a let-down. Rooftop pool and bar area fantastic. Room very comfortable.

Отличный отель, расположение в самом центре, но в глубине улицы, поэтому шума с улицы не было. При этом слышимость из коридора довольно высокая, но в номере есть беруши. Очень чисто, полотенца, халаты, постельное белье - все идеально белое. Воды в номер дают очень много, это плюс. Завтрак на 12 этаже с панорамным видом, красиво, приятно. Завтрак в целом нормальный, кофе неплохой, но выпечка так себе, среднего качества. Персонал милейший, очень вежливые и приветливые. Вообще забронировала этот отель в первую очередь из-за традиционного непальского стиля и не пожалела - внутри красиво и приятно.

The hotel is well situated in a quiet area, but within proximity to shops and restaurants, though a bit of a walk to Thamel. The hotels amenities are good and the M club lounge is a nice to have if u book the lounge access. The one negative thing is that the hotel overcharges on airport transportation (USD 35) and picks you up in a old Honda.

The mattress and pillows had very bad smell like they had not been replaced for a couple of years. The food in Zing cafe at the lobby was just so so. The plastic table covers generally full of food debris without frequent changing. During the 7-day stay, the service at front desk, restaurant and for our room however was overall up to the standard of a 5-star hotel.

Pleasant stay with great location, but bathroom needs improvement We stayed here for a few nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is in a very good location, just a short walk to the Thamel area, so it was easy to explore without needing taxis. The room was clean, and the breakfast buffet had complete selections, with some dishes rotating daily. However, we did encounter an issue with the bathroom floor. The tiles in the bathroom were the same as those in the bedroom area, and as a result, the floor became extremely slippery when wet. My wife even slipped once while taking a shower. It would be much safer if the hotel installed proper bathroom flooring. The toilet spray was also positioned awkwardly on the left side, and the toilet seat felt loose, which affected comfort. Our original king room wasn’t ready at the 2 PM check-in time, but the staff offered us the option to check in immediately with a twin room, which we accepted. Throughout our stay, the staff were friendly and very helpful. When my wife requested help to switch the air-conditioner to heater mode, they sent someone right away and even provided an extra portable heater, which we really appreciated. We were granted a late check-out until 2 PM, and because our flight was late at night, we extended the stay until 6:30 PM for an additional USD 30+. This was convenient for us. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with great staff and location. The only major area that needs attention is the bathroom design and safety, which should be improved for better comfort.

The room made a decent first impression and did the bare minimum. But, it quickly became clear that it’s best suited for a very short stay. The bed was comfortable enough. Overall, the room is fine if you’re just passing through, but anything longer starts to feel like stretching it. Staff presence around the hotel was limited. They clearly run on a lean operation, which can go either way. The guard in front of the elevator stood out in the best possible way and added a genuinely warm, human touch, which helped balance things out. At check-in, I was given two complimentary cocktail coupons for the upstairs bar, which immediately lifted my spirits. This was a place I had enjoyed many times before and often recommended to friends and family. I had good memories of the atmosphere, the food, and the general vibe, so I went in with high hopes. In the past I had written raving 5-star reviews of their restaurant food and amazing service! Unfortunately, the experience that followed didn’t live up to those expectations. What should have been a simple, enjoyable night out unraveled into confusion and unwelcoming interactions. Small moments piled up, the mood shifted, and it became clear that the experience had gone off the rails. Rather than force it, my group and I decided to take our time and money elsewhere. Sometimes you read the room and move on. I returned to the hotel later that night and stayed over. Took a hot shower in the morning, loved the smell of their body wash, btw! Another brief interaction during checkout reinforced the same theme: rigid, abrupt, and lacking the kind of hospitality that makes guests feel welcome. All in all, it’s disappointing to see a place I once enjoyed and freely recommended lose its consistency and warmth. I’m no longer comfortable recommending it, and I’m not sure I would choose to return. As for the unused cocktail coupon, I still have it. Any takers?

酒店服務非常專業，早餐豐富，前台服務熱情周到。説要水，很快就送來了。而且酒店裡面有電吹風，洗澡熱水非常舒適。 很多中國人到其他地方找中餐吃，結果發現最正宗的中餐在酒店樓上九層。而且這裏的巧克力布朗尼，非常正宗。原本應該是和冰淇淋一起吃，我提出來要吃熱的，酒店立即做了熱呼呼的冰激凌。酒店旁邊有個加德滿都最大的農貿市場，6個大蘋果，衹要不到20元人民幣。這裏什麼蔬菜水果都能買到。 因為加德滿都經常堵車，如果銜接航班，酒店離機場很近，這又是一大優勢。

The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and the service, as well as the food is excellent. The rooms however, are very old and small (we were able to change rooms after bringing this up with reception). The location is in Thamel and getting to nearby attractions is convenient
