"We spent a very good week in this residence. The proximity to the sea is a great asset. The team is very pleasant, both the cleaning and maintenance team as well as the reception!! Very nice, pleasant swimming pool to spend quality time with the family. The calm of the residence under a pretty pine forest. 15 minutes walk from the shops of Calvi, it was really perfect"

"We had a one-night stay in this great little hotel, attracted by its stylish, contemporary decor and proximity to the beach. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful (helped by the fact that they spoke English!) Our room was clean, and the bed was super-comfortable. You can walk into the centre of Calvi easily in about 20 minutes, either along the rather busy road, or, as we did, along the beach itself. The hotel has parking, which is a bonus. There is a breakfast buffet, with the option to sit outside on the terrace. Although ours wasn't a 'sea view' room, we could still see the citadel from our balcony. Calvi itself was a gem: we'd happily return, and if we did we would certainly want to stay at L'Onda."

"Comfortable room with balcony. The best croissant/pain au chocolate we've had. Home made jams & fresh eggs from their chickens in the garden ! Family run & nothing too much trouble. 20 minute easy walk into Calvi centre. Would stay again if in the area"

"We just spent a spectacular week at Maria-Die and cannot say enough about how delightful our experience was. The hotel is, as other reviewers have noted, new and in great condition, and just a short walk to restaurants, shops, and the port. The location is also quiet, which is a must for us, and the guests were all very respectful and low-key as well. Breakfast is very good, with many options. The best part of all, however, was the staff: This is a small hotel. Camille, Andre, Melodie and Ariana all work different shifts throughout the day and are extremely friendly and helpful. Anything we asked, they had answers or knew how to find them. They recommended restaurants, beaches, laundry services, and things to do. They were always eager to chat with us and made us feel very much at home. We had rooms overlooking the sea, and we spent every evening watching the sunset. All in all, a terrific and unforgettable time for us. Thank you, Maria-Die!"
