It was easy to eat, and I left out all of it. Both the rice and red soup were delicious. I also felt comfortable in the large public bath. It's not big, but it's not crowded, so you can reserve the open-air bath for yourself, and it's a good size considering the number of rooms. I still want to use it."

I had a great experience staying at a traditional ryokan in Gero Onsen. First of all, the hotel's architectural style combines traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern comfort facilities, making people feel a strong Japanese style as soon as they step in. The service staff at the hotel were very warm and friendly. They provided me with attentive service in fluent Japanese and some English, making me feel at home. Next is the hot spring experience. The water of Gero Hot Spring is clear and rich in minerals, which has a good nourishing effect on the skin. I particularly like bathing in the open-air hot springs, especially at night. While enjoying the warm spring water and looking up at the stars, the feeling of tranquility and relaxation is indescribable. Dinner is another highlight. The kaiseki cuisine provided by the hotel is exquisite and delicious. Each dish is a work of art. It is not only delicious in color, aroma and taste, but also has fresh ingredients, which fully demonstrates the charm of Japanese cuisine. Overall, my stay at Gero Onsen was very good. I was deeply impressed by the hot springs, service and food. It was an unforgettable travel experience."

The private open-air bath was not so good, but the underground bath was good. For dinner, the grilled meat🥩 on a ceramic plate and the Houba Miso were delicious. The free alcohol drinks were also good. The Hida by-flow water mixed with water was extremely enjoyable. The orange🍊 at breakfast was very sweet and delicious. "We stayed at Wanpakutei, just like last year. We received a gift for our dog shortly after arriving. As our dog is elderly, we were able to get a tatami room on the second floor with a great view, as requested. Dinner was just the right amount, and the Hida beef was delicious."
